Moonlight After Sunset's
Beginning of Plan

"The result of betrayal is death, it is the exact vengeance of what has been done."

The spring breeze began to rush through the window of the room only to touch the tiny body of a woman who was sound asleep under a shady tree. The woman seemed to enjoy her sleep very much, not realizing that a hand was stroking her hair slowly.

The touch of the hand was so warm and comfortable that it made the woman fall asleep in her sleep until a sound woke her up.

"Wake up dear," exclaimed a middle-aged woman in her friendly voice.

"Honey, it's time for lunch" the middle-aged woman continued.

Dusk slowly opened his eyes, he could see a middle-aged woman who was looking at him gently.

"Mama?"

Dusk looks shocked, he was so surprised to see the figure of the woman who had long missed him.

The woman still with her friendly smile began to gently stroke the face of Dusk. He looked happy to see his daughter had woken up from her long sleep.

"Dear moon, eat this."

The woman called 'mama' by Dusk now gave her a favorite cheese sandwich, and hesitantly took the sandwich.

"What is this really"

Dusk asked puzzledly, he realized that none of this was real but denied it was also impossible.

"Not this,"

Dusk began to pay attention to his surroundings, he saw a vast field with a beautiful view of the hill. A moment of Dusk remembered the place he and his family usually came to when on earth first.

"I remember this place, but is it real? I knew clearly that my body was no longer in that place, but it was too real to be hallucinated."

Dusk again noticed the figure of Farel who was playing throwing the ball with their father. Dusk also saw his mother who was walking down the field to call the two men.

Dusk sadly recalls his past where he and his family went on holiday to a large field when spring arrived.

"Sliced like that," muttered a short twilight as he looked at the entire incident before him.

Dusk began to question his memory because what he saw right now was exactly the same as what happened back then. It is more like playing a video of a classic recording in which he enters the recording.

"There is a strange thing" said Dusk when Farel came to him carrying Juan, his beloved cat.

"Moon, let's play" cried Farel while pulling his hand towards the middle of the field.

"What is this" said Dusk when he realized his body shrunk like a 7-year-old child.

"I'm shrinking? No it's not possible. I just got back to being who I was when I was a kid."

Dusk began to look around him with a sharp look. He felt that this was not real. Right this is so unreal either for him or all of them.

Dusk remembered the last thing that happened to him at that time. Where he was covered in blood because of the broken and unstable mana in his body.

"I must return soon," cried Dusk as he struck hard on his cheek.

Dusk paused for a moment and looked back at the surroundings but now all that was visible was a black cloud that covered almost the entire area.

The originally restless twilight was now filled with question marks. He was confused by this darkness.

"Where am I now?" ask Dusk when exploring the area.

Moments later Dusk could see a bright light from a single point in the corner of the black area of the place. Slowly the twilight approached the light.

After detailed observation, Dusk entered into the bright spot. There Dusk walked for quite a long time inside the bright spot until he could finally see a faint image that slowly began to be clearly seen.

The picture now looks like the roof of a building. Dusk who managed to regain his sight now began to look around to ascertain where he was now.

"Miss, you're sober" exclaimed a voice that felt very familiar to Dusk.

"Miss, you must rest first and do not move much for now," continued the voice back when Dusk was about to move from his sleep.

"Where is this?" tanya Dusk still looked dazed with her condition.

"Miss of the Twilight," called out another voice when it had just entered the room.

Dusk began to focus his mind. He began to be a little aware of his current situation. He slowly looked at the two servants.

"Dian, Eza," call Dusk to make sure that what he sees is true reality is not a mirage anymore.

"Yes Miss."

When he heard the voice of the two, Dusk began to look a little calm. Dusk then rose from his sleep and went to the balcony on his right side.

"Miss!" dian shouted as Dusk stepped his feet towards the balcony.

"I'm back" murmured at the sight of the many citizens milling before him.

"I'm back to being dusk now,"

"Dian, how long have I been asleep?"

"Miss, you've been sleeping for a week."

"Sunday?" tanya Dusk confused. He felt that he had just fallen asleep and did not know when it had become a week.

"What happened while I was unconscious?"

Dusk must gather all the information that was wasted when he was unconscious since the day the exam ended.

Dian who knew the meaning of the lady then gave a newspaper containing information about the events of the past week.

"Sit down first Miss, I'll prepare tea for you."

"What happens when the exam ends?" ask Dusk to Eza who had just seen it from the corner of the room.

"I provoked them a little according to your previous orders Miss, after that everything went according to plan."

"Good work" said Dusk, then turned the newspaper over to read it.

How shocked Dusk when he saw Amel's face that was plastered clearly on the first page of the newspaper. It is written that Amel is the mastermind behind the examination.

It is explained that Dira and his group were victims of the plan while Sarah allegedly plotting with Amel only get academic sanctions.

"Eza, can you explain what this is all about?" tanya was curious about what really happened.

"Miss you better ask Morreti, he knows everything about it."

"Then call him here."

Eza nodded his head before he left Dusk. A while later Dian came back along with a tray containing tea and also a bowl of sweet porridge.

Dusk is waiting for the arrival of Morreti is now enjoying green tea made by Dian. Slowly the door of the room opened and revealed Dennis who was staring at the twilight full of meaning.

"Come in."

"Thank you Miss."

"Is your job good?"

"Of course, it's growing by leaps and bounds thanks to your innovation."

"Good, then what business did you come to see me for?"

"Miss, I'd like to report something very important to you."

"Tell me immediately I don't have much time" exclaimed Dusk, instead of lying but honestly Dusk had to talk to Morreti about the problem that was happening right now.

Dennis carefully began to give some letters to Dusk. The letter looked very fancy with an attractive logo on it attached to it.

"This is a letter from a mysterious person, he asked us to find out the whereabouts of you who disappeared from the test."

" ... "

"It's not just that, miss, there's been a lot of requests about you lately."

"Do you know where they're from?"

"I know only a few of them the rest are still faint."

"You mean?"

"Since we imposed the conditions of entry, there were some nobles who gave his family business card as an identity symbol some of them paid him with gold coins."

"Who gave his family business card?"

"There are Vincount Difani, Count of Boot, Marques Jiur, Vincount Lapedi, and Count Bernas."

"Hm."

"They were very interested in Miss even more after you disappeared at the end of the exam," exclaimed Dennis, upset when his privacy was investigated.

"I have guessed," lirih Dusk indifferently.

"Miss, how should I respond to them?"

"Give them what they want."

"Sorry Miss, I don't understand what you mean."

Dennis seemed to not believe the thought of the lady, instead of angry the lady instead told Dennis to give her privacy information.

"Just do as they want, because I can take advantage of their stupidity. Just tell them if I am a useless piece of trash and with that their vigilance towards me will be slightly lost," exclaimed Dusk with a sly smile on his face.

Dusk wanted the nobles not to put up a wall of suspicion on him. He hoped that with this weak state, he could easily hit them from behind.

"There's one more thing I want to tell you."

"Say what is it?"

"We get an offer to escort the Weru trading group for three months in the neighboring kingdom."

"Good news, order Sean, Hazel and Aslan for the task. It's time for them to show their skills. In addition, also order them to gather important information regarding the kingdom to the Guild."

"Well Miss, and for those with no known identity how should I pass on information about you?"

"Just tell them if the Guild sees one of my servants in the forest, for more detailed information tell them to pay more."

"None right."

Dennis then came out of the room leaving Dusk with Dian.

"I'm sure the letter came from Dira, seeing their sincerity signifies that my life is very important."

Dusk looked indifferent as he looked back at the letter on the table in front of him.

"It could be that letter from Luna or any of my other enemies but obviously right now I have to be even more careful."

The letter on the table is not only one but four, certainly one of them or even half of them could belong to the enemy who is eyeing the life of Dusk at this time.

"Dian, tell Morreti to meet me in the basement."

"Well Miss," Dian exclaimed before exiting the room to meet Morreti who was with Eza outside the Guild building.
