"misunderstanding will sometimes blind you to the truth."

"Vanilla likes to eat this" Vanilla said as she ate her favorite chocolate cake.

"it's delicious, but since when is there a cake in this place?"

Ristia looked confused because as long as the eyes looked there was only a pile of grass.

"When Vanilla was following the rabbit, suddenly Vanilla was already in a place full of chocolate" explained Vanilla with her innocent face.

"Where's that?"

"Vanilla doesn't know the name of the place because it all looks the same, but Vanilla knows where it is."

Vanilla then leads Ristia to the place where she finds the chocolate. The distance was not too far from their starting position but also could not be said to be close.

"there" pointed Vanilla to a cave in front of them.

"That cave?"

"yes, there's a lot of chocolate."

Without waiting for confirmation, Ristia immediately entered into the cave. He was so curious about this place especially since the strangeness he experienced in real here.

Maybe Vanilla won't ask much about this place because he was a child, but that doesn't apply to him. Only by first entering this place, he had realized that this place was not something that could be made by humans in general.

No matter how strong a human being is, he will not be able to or will not even be able to make this extraordinary place. This place is full of mana, even just being here, they can raise the power by as much as 1.

Although the number is fairly small, but it has included a rapid increase. Obviously if they had been in this place for a long time, maybe in just a few months they would have been able to rise to the next level.

"Well, good..!" vanilla shouted as she threw herself on top of the chocolate pile.

"Unbelievable," the great-grandson of Ristia was amazed as he looked at the entire contents of the cave.

"Not only chocolate, there are also other sweets. Obviously this was made for children like her." Inner Ristia later.

"What a son!" vanilla is not stopping.

"You should feel at home in this place."

"Hehehe, not really."

Vanilla was embarrassed by Ristia's honest words. It was not that he was at home in this place, it was just that the situation outside was so tense at the moment. He also could not say if Lily and Dian were in a cold war right now.

He was also afraid of Kun who was always silent and watching the two. He feared that Kun's mounting anger would be more dangerous than the cold war.

"Lumayan," muttered Ristia while tasting a little part of the chocolate.

"All right, this is delicious." said Vanilla energetically.

A little while later, already almost half of the pile of chocolates was eaten by the two. When the brown base was about to be seen, Ristia looked shocked.

"What's this?" ristia asked confusedly.

"Oh that Vanilla doesn't know, but after eating all the chocolate, that thing will be visible."

"so."

"really. What did Ristia ask that about? Something's wrong with this thing, huh?"

"No, you eat first" replied Ristia as she stroked Vanilla's curly fur.

"Damn, I should talk about this with Miss," Inner Ristia was worried.

Ristia then stood up from her seat while looking around her. He felt this cave is not a cave full of ordinary chocolate, he also felt better after eating the chocolate.

"This strange place is full of surprises" he said as he walked away.

"Where is Ristia going?" vanilla asked when she saw Ristia leaving the cave.

"There's something important I need to talk to Miss."

Without explaining the details, Ristia then left Vanilla who was still engrossed in eating chocolate in front of him.

***

Dusk's body looks lethargic, his pale skin now looks more pale than before. Her tightly closed eyelids looked like a fragile-looking sleeping goddess.

"Ugh.." lirih Dusk was weak as he was about to open his eyes.

"Am I dead? Or...!!"

Dusk looked puzzled, he looked around carefully making sure that this place was heaven or not.

Dusk laughed wryly upon learning that this place was the same meadow before he fell asleep earlier. The place where he felt comfortable before entering the monster cage.

"That damn monster made me feel a death that even others didn't want to imagine."

Dusk slowly stood up from his seat, he then stepped away from the place along with a mischievous grin etched on his face along the way.

He seemed dangerous to just approach, so all the animals that passed him always put on a scared face and then run away.

"What's wrong with those weird animals?" inner Dusk was confused as he continued to step away towards the river that was in front of him.

Arriving at the river, Dusk looks surprised by the appearance of himself. He looks like a walking undead, coupled with a mischievous smile that makes his appearance look more sinister.

"It is only fitting that they flee, I myself am afraid to see this." murmured Dusk as he touched his pale cheek.

"Huh," Dusk could only sigh deeply with his current condition. He then stretched out his hands to fetch the river water and washed his face.

"Fresh," Inner Dusk as the river water slowly touched the skin of his face.

A while later, Ristia came to see Dusk. But how shocked he was when he found out that his lady's condition was not okay.

"Geez, what's with Miss when I'm not around?" asked Ristia worriedly.

"..."

The twilight just remained silent as it continued to wash its face with the river water.

"Miss..!" ristia shouted irritatedly as Dusk did not even respond to her.

"..."

"Miss, what's wrong with you? Did something strange happen in this place?" asked Ristia non-stop, but again Dusk was just silent while continuing to wash his face.

After a moment of silence, Dusk finally spoke. He said "I'm good," then left the confused Ristia.

"Geez, Miss is not okay right now."

That was the conclusion that Ristia could draw when she saw the condition of Dusk which was even worse than when she stayed up all night.

"Miss, I have important information for you."

Ristia tried not to ask any further about the condition of the lady. He knew, no matter how far he asked, his lady would never answer.

"I'd rather tell you about the cave than ask about Miss's condition again" muttered Ristia while following Dusk from behind.

"There is a cave full of chocolate in this place" Ristia explained.

"Then?" Dusk seemed not interested in the discussion, but Ristia kept telling it.

"After the brown blob was eaten, a stone appeared that had a much stronger mana than any other stone."

Ristia smiled proudly at what she found just now. He believed that his lady would be interested and then went to follow.

"Then?" ask Dusk once more indifferently.

Ristia's face immediately pale, she could not believe the lady's reaction. Usually the magician who finds the stone mana will be crazy moreover the stone where it is much different than usual.

"Miss, are you well?" ask Ristia to make sure.

"Where's Vanilla?" tanya Dusk who ignored Ristia's previous question.

"Vanilla was in that cave" replied Ristia puzzled.

"Miss is getting weird," Ristia's inner self is equally confused.

"I see," replied the twilight as equally.

"Miss, you..."

"Let's get out of this place, we should immediately return to the academy as soon as possible." cut Dusk while making a teleportation portal.

Although Ristia is an expert in magic portals, but Dusk is no less powerful. With just a single hand move, he could already create a portal as he pleased.

"Alright," replied the weak Ristia while opening a portal towards the Twilight wrist.

"I'll discuss this with Dian later," Ristia continued in her heart as she glanced at the face of Dusk who looked indifferent.

A few seconds later, the magic portal disappeared and immediately carried Dusk and Ristia away leaving the place.

"The arrogant girl has left apparently," muttered the voice of the baritone who saw the departure of Dusk from a distance.

"Slowly you will understand this life and you will know the meaning behind it later" continued the voice while disappearing like a cloud.
