Moonlight After Sunset's

Moonlight After Sunset's
Meeting pt 2

"The world is vast, even though you meet the same people every day."

******************#####****************

Dusk tired of having to wait until nightfall decided to walk - a street in the market in the area. This market is not as wide as the market in general but the buyers are very crowded.

"Miss, I want to eat that," exclaimed Ristia as she pointed towards the cotton candy with her tail.

"Like a child."

"Hehehe, this is delicious." Ristia laughed as she surrounded the cotton candy.

"Calm down a bit, they can see you there" whispered Dusk as Ristia turned around cheerfully inside the cotton candy.

Dusk then went around among the merchants while looking - see what I was selling.

"This place is very similar to the night market in my town,"

"Excuse me Miss, please take a look. If suitable, the price can be bargained," exclaimed an Old Grandfather who was selling his wares.

Dusk then glanced at what was sold by the grandfather. He seemed a little interested in the clothes sold by the grandfather.

"Please look - see Miss."

The grandfather then slightly stepped away from his position so that Dusk could easily see what he was selling.

Dusk who was interested in the object, then walked closer to the grandfather's shop. There Dusk can clearly see the object, without realizing it holds a brooch shaped crescent moon in front of it.

"This is called Light the Moon. This brooch was made by a professional sculptor very well and neatly, it took him even three years to finish the brooch, Miss."

The merchant's grandfather briefly explained the history of the brooch when Dusk touched it.

"It's beautiful,"

"This brooch is a package with jewelry..."

The grandfather paused his words while looking for something from behind his desk drawer.

"Ah, here it is. Look at Miss."

The grandfather then gave him a box of jewelry containing a silver crescent-shaped necklace and also an ankle bracelet each chain filled with the same colored crescent moon decoration.

"This piece of jewelry was originally about to be purchased by a high-class noble 18 years ago. The noble man said if he wanted to give this as his daughter's birth gift."

The grandfather kept telling stories when he saw Dusk so interested in this jewelry.

"Then, why is this still here?"

"I don't know why this jewelry is here. At first a friend gave me this jewelry because the noble man never took it."

" ... "

"My friend was about to auction it but he felt fond of doing it so he gave it to me."

"Why is that?"

"I don't know Miss either. He said that this jewel told him to give it to me."

" ... "

The salesman's grandfather looks confused when telling the story at Dusk. It seems that he also does not know the real reason why his best friend gave this jewelry to him.

"I was originally going to sell this jewelry but strangely enough, no one wanted to buy this jewelry until Miss herself looked so interested in it."

"Why is that? Is there a reason why no one bought it?"

"I don't know Miss either. Every time a buyer wants to buy it there's a problem so I decided not to sell this jewelry."

The seller's grandfather looks very sad every time he tells the fate of his customers who arrived - suddenly hit by bad luck every time they want to buy the jewelry.

"Quite interesting," the inner Dusk who was curious about what misfortune he would get if he bought this jewelry.

"Then I want to buy it."

"Miss, are you sure?"

"Of course."

"Actually I just put it on display there to fill the storefront but I don't know if you've become so interested in it."

"Did Grandpa not want to sell it?"

Dusk asked as if he did not have much time to hear the grandfather's nonsense this time.

"I even feel very happy when someone buys the jewelry Miss," replied the grandfather with confidence.

"Then pack it up."

" ... "

"What else?"

"Miss, if anything happens to you..."

"No need to worry, I can take care of myself."

Twilight tried to explain how great he was at the moment.

"All right, Miss."

The grandfather then wrapped the jewelry neatly.

"Wait a minute."

The grandfather's hand stopped when Dusk picked up the Brooch he had previously held.

"Continue" said Dusk before placing the brooch on his chest.

"Very suitable," murmured the seller's grandfather to himself.

"What'sthis? Didn't I just order one box?"

Dusk still frowned sharply as he held the two jewelry boxes inside the bag.

"It's a gift" replied the seller's grandfather kindly while putting on his gentle smile.

"Because this jewelry is very identical and I also get both from my best friend, therefore I give the other one as a gift" explained the grandfather of the seller politely.

"Ah, I see, thank you," exclaimed Dusk then handed over the money to pay the grandfather.

"Miss, both are the same," said Ristia as she crept back inside the twilight wrist after her cotton candy ran out.

"I know,"

"Are you going to use them all?"

"Are you crazy? How can I use all the jewelry."

"I think it's better if used as a package because the strength will be more stable,"

Dusk who heard Ristia's last words, could only shake his head in annoyance.

"I know that."

It was with regret that Dusk muttered that he knew the power of the jewelry.

"What do you know?" ask a flat voice right in the ear of Dusk.

"Geez!" twilight cried out in shock as she looked at Dian who was standing beside her with an indifferent look.

"What on earth. Since when were you there?"

Dusk's face paled slightly with a heartbeat that beat with the rhythm of death.

"Since then."

Dian replied nonchalantly while glancing towards the brooch worn by Dusk.

"Next time don't show up suddenly - it's like that."

"None right."

"Huh, shit. You scare me," muttered Dusk when he heard Dian's indifferent reply.

"Did Miss buy it?"

Dian held the brooch with a suspicious look.

"Do you think I stole it?"

"Who knows," answered Dian who suddenly made Dusk's face become upset.

"Who do you think your Miss is, huh?"

"You're my cunning and weird Miss."

Again - again the answer from Dian makes the jaws of Dusk fall because of shock and annoyance.

"Huh, jeez. My head," cried Dusk in his heart while holding his head that hurt because of Dian's words.

"Is Miss sick? We can postpone this meeting if Miss is feeling unwell," exclaimed Dian who made Dusk's face more red with annoyance.

"Miss, your face is flushed. I think we should check on him."

"Geez!" yelled Dusk which made Dian's face look more worried.

"I can die of annoyance if this keeps up."

Dusk tries to hold back his emotions as Dian tries to take him away to see a doctor.

"Dian."

"Yes Miss."

"Get me green tea as usual."

Dusk tried to restrain himself as they were about to board the horse carriage.

"Miss..."

"Bring it up now."

Dian just kept quiet while looking at Dusk and the horse carriage in front of him.

"None right."

Dian then went to the cafe where they were before.

"Sir, you can wifearahat now," exclaimed Dusk before stepping into the cafe.

"It seems I have to properly educate them,"

"Miss, I feel that woman's energy here," Ristia's link at dusk was already in her room with the warm green tea that Dian had brought.

"Human, that woman is here."

Now it's Kun's turn to make contact with Dusk.

"Ah, I'm tired," cried Dusk unconcerned with what Kun and Ristia had told him.

"I want to go to bed before the meeting. Dian, wake me up when the time comes."

Dusk then took off his boots before throwing himself on the sofa to unwind.

"I'll think about it later, 'cause it's time to go to bed,"
