[S2E1] Changes

"After so much fatigue, I'm finally back."

Return to the same routine and keep repeating. It feels boring but it is also inevitable. Such was the feeling of Dusk when he saw the students passing by in the window of his room.

The students now wear a different uniform and a mark attached to their left shoulder. The mark proved how high the rank of the student was. The same goes for Dusk and his other four companions.

"Sorry," that was all he said before Prof came and took his place. Dusk was a little confused by Kira's strange actions, yet he tried to ignore her once again.

After the break was announced, Dusk intended to leave but was prevented by Kira. He carefully wanted to say something to Dusk.

Dusk seemed indifferent because he knew that Kira was Sarah's best friend and that perhaps, he was also her accomplice.

Kira's words came to a halt as Zakila called out the name Dusk. Of course Zakila deliberately did that so that Kira could stay away from her best friend.

"Senja, it's lunch time."

Zakila then pulled Dusk out before staring intently at Kira.

"Before Zakila," shrieked at Dusk as she was about to be pulled out of the classroom.

"What did you want to tell me?" ask Dusk to Kira who is still in her place.

"That's, I want to. Want to..."

"If you just want to waste our time, you better stop that."

Zakila yelled at Kira who had been spinning around just that sentence.

"Huh," Zakila grumbled as she pulled Dusk away from the place. On the way they met Luna who was just about to pick up Dusk.

"What's this?" Why do you look upset?"

Zakila then glanced at Kira who was still in her place as she said, "There's a small pest."

Luna knew the meaning of Zakila. He also dislikes Kira and all sorts of things about her.

They then left Kira who was still glued to her place. No one could see Kira's annoyed face that was about to get angry. He wanted to smash the table in front of him. But he tried to be patient because there was no point if everything was destroyed later.

"I have to be patient, I'm sure he will come to me later" Kira muttered as she left the classroom.

"What did he do?" muna shouted annoyed as Zakila recounted the incident earlier.

"Have it, nothing happened either."

The twilight calms Muna. They were in the park for lunch together as usual.

"You're so overreacting," Maya exasperated. He seems to not care because he knows that Kira will not say anything as long as there is Zakila there.

"From strength fighting with him, we better keep an eye on him."

Maya's words have a point. Instead of directly beating the enemy, better find out the purpose of his arrival first.

"That's a good idea."

This time they agreed to keep an eye on Kira. They clearly knew that Kira's actions had to be watched out for. Obviously at this time Kira's relationship with Sarah is still ambiguous but it never hurts to be suspicious.

In class, Dusk who had finished lunch was shocked by a box of juice that had come out of nowhere. He did not know who gave this juice to him. But after looking at the writing below, Dusk realized who gave this.

"I'm sorry" only one of those words was on the paper. It is obvious that the giver does not want his name to be known. But it's not Dusk if he doesn't know who it is.

"Ristia, do you know?" ask Dusk while shaking the juice box.

"I know, and I'm sure you know too," replied Ristia confidently. Obviously Dusk knew because the mana left in the box was only pointing to one person in this class.

"I didn't think he was using this."

Dusk then put the juice box into his drawer.

"No one knows if the number is that small, but I am not stupid to not realize it" murmured Dusk while looking at the black speck on his palm.
