Moonlight After Sunset's

Moonlight After Sunset's
[S2E23] Goverment

"When suspicion starts to rip your heart out, that's when you have to act."

"Ugh...!"

Dusk immediately held onto his stomach as the pleasant aroma of food smelled all the way to his room. The aroma was very delicious, with a sweet and sour taste that smelled with its fragrance.

"What's this?" inner Dusk while opening both of his eyelids lazily.

Slowly those eyes softly looked around the room area. It was like he was looking for the origin of the sweet scent. His nose snorted repeatedly to make sure the food was there.

"I'm hungry" murmured Dusk before standing up from his sleep. He definitely stepped into the sweet aroma, after ascertaining what cuisine was being cooked by his servant.

A few moments after Dusk had arrived at the dining table. He saw so much food on the table. Everything looks so delicious and tempting, even without realizing it, his saliva has flowed out.

"God...!!" the twilight in his heart. He was very pleased with the dish in front of him. Without a second thought, Dusk immediately sat down and ate it.

From a distance, an eye keenly watched Dusk as it was engrossed in eating. He scoffs at Dusk with a sly sneer.

"Very greedy," she wrote with a cynically curved corner of her lips.

He had never seen a noble eat in such a way, was so impolite and lacked ethics. Although he knows that Dusk never get ethical learning, but this is very severe.

It was like seeing a coyote greedily eating food. What a sight that ruins the eyes.

"Miss please."

One of the servants suddenly came to Dusk. He deliberately gave Dusk a drink he had just brought from the kitchen. The drink looked so fresh and delicious, yet Dusk only looked at it with a flat glance.

"Oho, so here it is," Inner Dusk as he took the drink.

"Who is behind this servant?" continue the Dusk while drinking the water. He realized that in the water there was a poison that could inhibit the flow of mana.

But Dusk did not feel worried because there was Ristia beside him who could neutralize all sorts of toxins, so Dusk confidently drank the water.

After confirming that Dusk had drunk it, the servant smiled cunningly. He returned to the kitchen and continued his work.

"Huh, shit. Is this how they get rid of everyone?"

Dusk somehow thought of Dira deliberately poisoning him in the same way.

They come well while giving food or drink, but in fact in the food and drink there is a destructive poison.

If Dira uses Gu's poison to kill Dusk slowly, while the servant uses opium poison to make the flow where Dusk becomes damaged and messy.

If the flow that a mage has is damaged or destroyed, then the end is already the history. He could no longer even use his magic power for just a small thing. He would only be a wasted mage with no strength.

A few moments later, Eza came to Dusk. He looked as calm as ever and he casually squatted beside Dusk whispering something.

"All right, I get it."

After Dusk said that, Eza then put a letter on the dining table, he then bowed again to give farewell.

"Goodbye Miss," said Eza before walking away from the pavilion. He seemed to be in such a hurry that some of the servants whispered softly about him.

Dusk only glimpsed at the name of the sender of the letter. He then muttered lightly while mentioning the name 'Luna' at the end of his lips. Nonchalantly, Dusk continued his lunch.

Seeing that, the waiter who previously gave Dusk water then returned to the dining table. This time he brought dessert for Dusk. When he was about to put the food, he deliberately spilled it onto one of the Twilight wrists.

"Yes...!!"

Shouted Dusk while standing from his seat. All the servants scattered throughout the pavilion instantly came to Dusk. They look panicked but there are also those who just come to see before returning again indifferently.

"Sorry Miss, I didn't accidentally."

The waiter looked panicked, his face flushed red with tears beginning to drip. The twilight that saw him feeling disgusted, he subconsciously slapped the servant's face making him fall to the floor.

"Huhuhuhu, forgive me Miss."

The servant strangely prostrated himself at the foot of the Twilight and it even made the Dusk even more upset. He knew when he saw the strange smile behind the servant's tears.

"Stay away!"

Once again Dusk shouted so as to make some servants who were still watching it drag the waiter earlier. They forced him to stand up, but the servant stubbornly prostrated himself on the floor.

"Damn, you're making my appetite go away."

The twilight that could not hold back his emotions, then walked away leaving the dining room after inserting a letter into his clothing pocket.

After Dusk left, the maid casually stood up from her prostration with a smile that looked so satisfied. Although one of his cheeks was red, he did not feel the slightest pain from it.

"Are you crazy? Why are you doing that much?" ask one of the waiters named Nita, while cleaning the dinner table.

"That's right. Did you forget what Duke ordered us?" continued the waiter who had previously pulled his partner from his bow.

The waiter named Iza was silent, he looked at his two colleagues with a cold look.

"Hey...!" Nita yelled in annoyance as Iza ignored her advice and chose to leave the pavilion.

"Don't mind him" said a servant named Rindra. He seems to know that Iza is not part of them, but he seems indifferent and does not care about it.

"Our job is to keep this place, not the owner." Rindra continued while helping Nita and her other colleagues to clean up the mess.

****

While in the Dusk room could see Iza who was swiftly running out of the pavilion. The tears that kept flowing along with the red color on her cheeks made every servant who saw Iza speculate badly about Dusk.

The twilight that watched all of that from behind the bedroom window could only sigh deeply. Instead of being angry, he even sneered at Iza's acting that seemed to be made up.

Not long after Iza made a fuss, Arina came and calmed Iza down. He carefully administered wound medicine to treat Iza's flushed face. All the servants who witnessed it exclaimed in delight and praised Arina.

"So this is the meaning of his disappearance" murmured at Dusk as he saw Iza who seemed to tell him everything about the previous events in the dining room.

"It's so sick" he continued, walking away from the window of the room. He sat on the couch with a letter in his hand.

Slowly Dusk opened the contents of the letter and looked at it. But instead of being happy, Dusk looked at the letter with a strange look. A sly smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

"Haha... What the fuck?" tanya Dusk with a mysterious laugh echoed in her room. He lifted the letter and shook it violently.

"How dare they steal from me!"

The twilight revealed its sharp canine teeth. He looked annoyed but still looked calm, his eyes flushed with a sharp gaze that pointed straight towards the window where Iza and Arina were seen.

"Huhaha....!"

The laughter was heard again, but this time with a tone of voice that was colder than before. It hints that Dusk is currently furious against anyone who dares to steal his letter.

"Ristia, find out who's behind it."

The order had already been issued, and Ristia quickly walked away from Dusk's wrist. He crawled on the wall before exiting through the air vents in the room.

After Ristia came out of the room, Dusk angrily folded the paper and burned it. He did not even need to look at the contents of the letter any further because it was not important.

They might not know if Dusk already knew the contents of the letter sent by Luna. The letter did not write anything important but it contained no more than three pages of letters, but he received only one letter and the rest of the two were not there.

It was possible that while he was focusing on Iza, one of the servants managed to exchange his letter. Maybe they are curious about the contents of the letter, yes it is only natural but stealing it from Dusk is a mistake.

Although the contents are just nonsense from Luna, but still it is a personal letter belonging to Dusk and it is not appropriate that they steal the letter or even exchange it.

"I wonder to whom he will give the letter to" said Dusk before drinking the green tea before him.

"I also want to know how many scouts in this house" he continued cynically when he was about to put the tea glass back.
