Every bond is a proof of loyalty, but not every bond begins with sincerity."

"Ugh," cried Dusk as he felt a great pulse on his left wrist.
"Where is this?" he continued when he saw the empty room that was pitch-black.
"I was warm at first but..."
Dusk recalled the last time he felt intense drowsiness before a splash of red light illuminated his eyesight.
Dusk was confused because at first he was fine until finally the feeling of pain like being electrocuted made him unable to stand it and ended up fainting.
"I had expected him from the beginning that this contract was impossible. How can a human contract with elementals."
Dusk a little upset but what can make it already do it. Slowly Dusk sat from his sleep. He began to look around to see the situation.
"Surprisingly, why is there only black? Usually when I wake up from sleep, I should have gone back to the meadow." murmured Dusk confused.
Not once or twice Dusk experienced this. He was even tired of experiencing it due to several factors such as fatigue and being forcibly expelled by Sera.
"I've guessed something is wrong with the boy." exclaimed Dusk as he tried to stand up from his seat.
From the beginning of Dusk felt that Khalid was too innocent to deceive him. However, even with his handsome face, he looks more like an angel even though his true nature is like a demon.
"I have to get out of this place, no matter how." murmured Dusk while looking for a way out of the dark room.
Long Dusk walked but he had not found the exit at all. Let alone doors, not even walls.
Dusk was sure if he was confined in a room but strangely the room had no restrictions. The room was like a huge field that had no end.
But Dusk did not give up, he continued to look for a way out while groping the surrounding area. Initially he walked straight but because absolutely nothing found Dusk finally decided to turn the direction.
Long Dusk looked for a way out but it seemed to be in vain. Dusk seemed to have guessed that the room that was holding him was a dark room without limit.
"Dam,"
Tired of the twilight walk he finally decided to stop and rest. Dusk was no longer concerned, he was tired enough to just think about it.
"Huh, it would be better if this were to end quickly." murmured Dusk as he stretched his body across the floor. Slowly Dusk began to fall asleep because of the fatigue he felt.
I don't know how long Dusk had been asleep but he heard a faint voice calling his name.
"Mrs...."
"Monday...!"
"Forges?"
The voice slowly began to sound clear. The disturbed twilight began to slowly open his eyes. The first thing he saw was a bright light that illuminated both irises of his eyes.
The light slowly began to be focused into the figure of a woman who looked faint. The figure frantically held the forehead of Dusk before sighing in relief.
"You're supposed to be warning him, you stupid fool." the woman snapped at the tiny figure in front of him.
"Sera," muttered the twilight who was beginning to become a little aware. He slowly glanced to the side where Khalid's figure was.
"He is weak, his strength has not even fully recovered and blah.. blah.
Unfortunately, Dusk can no longer accept it because of the dizziness that it ambushes. While Sera still continues to nag so that makes Khalid cry crazy.
"He looks like a dog who just got caught breaking the couch." Inner Dusk while lightly massaging his head.
"Ugh," erang Dusk was upset.
"It was so noisy, I was dizzy" he continued inwardly.
hearing the twilight groan made the attention of the two now focused on him. Sera frantically held onto Dusk's wrist before going towards the direction of the kitchen.
While Khalid only approached the side of Dusk and looked at it with a sad facial expression. Khalid then hesitantly held the face of Dusk and stroked it spoiled.
"How does it feel?" whispered Khalid who retorted a puzzled expression from Dusk.
"Stay away from her," Sera shouted as she just walked out of her kitchen. He then took a quick step while carrying a small napkin in both hands.
"This boy is crazy." said Sera when she saw Khalid who was gently stroking the cheek of Dusk.
"No, now that he's my contractor why should I obey your orders."
"Damn, who do you think he is because of that?"
"..."
Sera who saw Khalid silent immediately pushed him away from the side of Dusk. He felt that Khalid had a hidden aura that made him feel uncomfortable.
"Senja, I will support you." exclaimed Sera then shrugged her shoulders and propped her up to sit down.
"Drink this to restore your mana." he continued, answered a nod of the head by Dusk.
When Dusk was taking the herbal medicine that was fed by Sera, he unconsciously glanced at Khalid who was still silent in the corner of the sofa.
Khalid's face was riled up with agitated hands. He seemed to be thinking about something but Dusk did not know what it was because Khalid just looked down stiffly.
"Did I hear wrong?"
The dizzy twilight was irritated when he saw Khalid's mischievous smile as he stroked his cheek. Dusk also heard Khalid's whisper to him who seemed to be questioning something but unfortunately Dusk could not remember it clearly because at that time he was dizzy.
Fifteen minutes later Dusk had finished taking his medicine. It looks healthier with skin that is starting to show its color.
"Sera," call Dusk slowly.
"What happened to me?"
Sera who saw the pale face of Dusk immediately turned her face to Khalid. He roughly inhaled fresh air and released it slowly.
It took a few minutes until Sera felt confident to tell the condition of Dusk. He then stared intently at Dusk before taking a quick glance at Khalid.
"You're out of nowhere." exclaimed Sera as she wiped away the strands of hair blocking her face.
"The contract you've put up with her is draining your mana. If I knew it would be this way, I wouldn't have left you alone with him from the start." continued Sera with fierce eyes peeking at Khalid.
"..."
Twilight was silent, he did not know what to react to. He was also upset with Khalid for deceiving him but seeing the sad look on his tiny face made Dusk feel sorry.
"Wait, since when do I feel sorry for someone?"
Suddenly, Dusk began to be confused by his feelings. He knew that Khalid was wrong but seeing Khalid's sad face made him sad too. Strangely, Dusk is a figure who rarely empathizes with others.
Dusk is a person who is anti to the feelings of others and prefers to make himself happy than the person. He was so selfish that it felt strange to see him empathize with a child like Khalid.
Not to mention Dusk has a history that never gets along with small children. Dusk is aware that small children are very contrary to their adult nature and do not like the commotion.
"What feeling is this?" murmured Dusk while touching his chest.
Seeing the strange expression on Dusk's face made Sera panic a little. He was afraid of the effects of mana deficiency would create other complications on the body of Dusk.
"Why? Does your heart hurt?"
"..."
Dusk remained silent, he seemed confused to answer what and it even added worry in Sera's little heart.
"I don't want to wait another hundred years to find the next successor to this place." Sera thought of her lonely and dark day.
"Senja, you're okay, right?"
"..."
"Forges?"
Khalid who heard Sera's panicked tone slightly smiled. He seemed to be enjoying the show in front of him. At first Khalid only wanted to test it, but it was unexpected.
"Foolish base" murmured Khalid with a bright red glow in his irises.
Khalid who was still lowering his face slowly started to raise his head to take a clearer look at the situation. But when he just wanted to raise his face, he coincidentally immediately came into contact with Dusk.
Khalid who felt awkward immediately smiled softly. He looked so happy when he saw the face of his master who was staring at him blankly.
"You've really connected with me."
