Moonlight After Sunset's

Moonlight After Sunset's
[S2E13] Escape pt 3

"Everything will be fine as long as you can keep going."

*****************#####*****************

"Miss," cried Dian when Dusk had teleported.

His condition is unstable but still in good health. Dian quickly pulled her miss into a hug to keep Dusk standing perfectly.

Dian knew clearly if her lady's condition was fragile enough at this time. If it was not sustained then its body would immediately slump to the floor helplessly.

"Well, Dian. Room, get to the room."

Dusk tried to take a deep breath in between his sentences. He looks tired with breathing that falters like a person with asthma.

"None right."

Dian then carried Dusk towards his room which was on the top floor of the Guild building. The top floor is a private area owned by Dusk that not even just anyone can enter there.

After a while, the body returned to normal. His breathing began to reorganize with a light rhythm. Even so, his condition was still weak, it was possible that this was due to the teleportation he had just done.

The teleportation was quite draining, this was because the surrounding air dried up forcibly, making Dusk have to breathe much more than before. He also had to endure the twisted feeling in his stomach as a result of the teleportation.

It is more efficient to use one-dimensional teleportation than two. This was due to the greater risk and excessive use of mana, so many witches abandoned this type of teleportation.

"Dian, go back to Academics to ask permission for my presence."

Dusk could not think clearly at this time, as his condition was unstable and school would be his reason why he was so lazy to leave.

"Send a message to Miss Aila if I'm going back to Duke Ari's mansion for two days" he continued, glancing at the still-dark window.

Even so, at this time the clock has shown at 4 am. There is still 1 hour until the sun will rise at the end of the horizon.

Understanding this, Dian rushed away from the Twilight room and allowed her miss to rest even longer. If the lady returns at this time, she might have great difficulty due to the actions of some people.

Dian's mind is now floating on Kira and some other flies that often surround her lady lately.

"This is the best," he murmured as he reached the bottom floor of the Guild.

When she was about to leave, Dian got a link from White if Lily called her. He also immediately connected with the magical beast of his lady.

"What's going on?" That was the first sentence Lily uttered when the link was already connected.

"Little problem, more than that. What's up?"

Not that Dian wants to hide the condition of her miss, but if this problem enlarges, then the risk will be even higher.

"Miss told me to bring you back."

"Ah so apparently, sorry to trouble you."

Afterwards a teleportation magic circle appeared under Dian's feet, and a while later, Dian was already in the Dusk dorm room.

"You look messed up right now," exclaimed Kun who had just woken up from his sleep.

"It's not an important issue, it's just..."

"What only? Are you guys doing anything crazy again?" Lily cut Dian's words cynically.

Lily then looked at Dian with probing eyes like an inspection officer.

Dian looks messed up, he doesn't know what to answer. His footsteps were stiff with eyes that could only look down embarrassed.

"We've known about it from Vanilla, next time be more cooperative."

Kun warned Dian with his cold smile. He knew that it would be difficult for them to move together, but the incident would only cause their Miss to be harmed.

"I'm sorry," Dian muttered softly but could still be heard by the two.

"It's not that we don't know it's just that in such urgent conditions, you should call for help so that things like this don't happen again in the future."

Lily looked irritated with breath ready to explode at any moment. He and Kun also knew that their lady was very apathetic about herself. But this is not just a matter of him but of them as well.

If Dusk suffered heavy injuries especially to lose his life, then his holy animals will experience the worst effects. They can go crazy or die because of a relationship that has suddenly been severed.

"You know exactly what we mean. Not all of us can continue to be by his side, sometimes we are far away from Miss. We hope that one of us can help him properly, but not all of us have perfect strength."

Lily's words have a point, they are indeed strong but they are only strong with their respective functions. If Dusk only went with Ristia and Lily, then he would only get massive protection.

It would be different if he was with Vanilla or Kun who are fighting type magic animals, where they would be ready to help Dusk at any time, even though the condition is in danger.

What Lily and Kun wanted to say was clear. If Dusk dies, then they will die too, but it is different from Lily who can still live because the contractor is Dusk instead of him.

Even so, the pain of losing the owner would still drive him crazy as if dying was better for him. That's why their relationship is so important.

Maybe Dian was aware of how angry and frustrated Lily was when their lady was in a state of chaos. The same thing he felt, but because their inner connection is different, so the two experience the opposite.

"I need to clear my mind" Dian muttered as she was about to enter Miss Aila's office. Before entering, Dian first set her heart and mind to keep looking clear. He doesn't want anyone to know his emotions at the moment.

"Good morning Miss," said Dian when the door was open.

"Oh Dian, good morning."

Miss Aila then invited Dian to sit in the chair in front of her. Without hesitation Dian sat there, he then took out a letter that was a copy of his missus's.

"Sorry before Miss, but my arrival here is only for this."

Dian then handed me the letter. Miss Aila at first seemed confused but she finally understood.

"All right, I get it. I'm not gonna ask you any further, so you can get out."

Obviously Miss Aila knew that something was wrong here. Although he could not figure out that his letter was a copy, it was surprising that Dusk had to return to Duke Ari's mansion at a time like this.

Unwilling to take a dizzy, he could only let out a long sigh before finally seeing Dian walking away from the building. He saw the heavy burden that was on Dian's shoulders at this moment. A burden that is even more difficult than his affairs in Academics.

"What's really going on,"

Miss Aila asked with a serious and curious face. But he can only keep it in his heart, he knows that taking care of affairs that are not his is a mistake, moreover it is the personal business of his students.

On the other hand, Dian must meet Eza who is currently training in a special field guard. He was always there every time his missus underwent Academic activities, it was like his mandatory activities.

"Dian," called Eza when he found the sour-faced Dian coming at him.

"Oh, hello." Dian replied to Eza's greeting with his lazy tone. Eza who found something strange from Dian could only narrow his eyes sharply.

"Is there a thing..."

"Nothing," cut Dian off before Eza finishes in her sentence.

"Then?" eza asked again as she was about to put the sword into the sheath.

"Huh." Dian only sighed in response to Eza's question.

The confused Eza tilted her head a sign of not understanding with Dian's attitude this time. Honestly, it's not just this time that Eza doesn't understand Dian, but every time they talk, it always ends like this.

"Just prepare the horse carriage, because Miss will return to the mansion."

After saying that, Dian immediately left Eza who was still confused in her place.

"Damn," maki Eza who is upset by Dian's indifferent nature.

"Why does he remind me of someone."

Eza then put on his clothes and rushed to prepare a horse carriage according to Dian's order.

"Miss, they've arrived."

Gabriel went in just to present a message and then came out as he got a light nod from Dusk. He didn't want to disturb that miss, moreover his business in the Guild was already quite a lot.

A few moments later Dian came to see Dusk. He came along with Eza beside him. Eza looked stiff as he looked at Dusk who was enjoying his breakfast.

"We'll be back later" said Eza as she pulled Dian out of the room.

Just like Gabriel, Eza also did not want to disturb the lady, it was because the mood of her miss who likes to change is erratic.

"No need, I'm ready."

Then he stood up and approached them. He looked at Dian who was still in his place and then turned to Eza who was smiling awkwardly at him.

"Dian, go to the Forest of Darkness and prepare all the training needs there, three more days, the training will begin."

Dian only nodded before disappearing from the room.

"Eza" called Dusk as he was about to leave his room.

"Yes Miss."

"Limit my mother's Pavilion area after we get to the mansion. Don't let a little pest bother me in my quest."

"Okay, Miss, I understand."
