Dusk was still in a daze with a strange confession coming out of the Duke's mouth. He looked confused and could not believe what the next Duke told him.

"Is this a joke?" inner Dusk upon hearing the Duke who kept talking about his apology.

"... This mistake will never happen again."

Duke finally ended his sentence. He looked satisfied with a slight symbiotic smile on the tip of his lips. His breathing began to calm down again with a slow strain marked at both ends of his palm.

"Did I hear wrong?"

The man kept asking himself. He had no faith in the Duke's confession. Even as long as Duke spoke, Dusk did not catch a single word from him.

It was like he was in a different world than Duke. Whatever the Duke said was like the wind then for Dusk. He didn't even know if the Duke had finished talking to him at this moment.

His eyes were straight ahead with an empty look. His soul seemed to drift out of nowhere as it seemed to him was just a body sitting quietly listening, but in fact he listened to nothing at all.

"Alley."

The Duke called out to Dusk as he did not get any reaction from his daughter. He knew it might be difficult for Dusk to forgive him and he had accepted it with great courage.

"Maybe it's a little difficult for you but please, I beg you not to keep thinking about it. Your condition is not good and if this continues then you will get sick later."

Dusk slowly raised his head, he then looked at the Duke with a strange look that was even difficult to explain. His face looks pale with my eyes.

Currently Dusk looked like a corpse that did not even have the strength to continue speaking. The duke who saw his daughter could only let out a long sigh, while calling his subordinates to come closer.

"It might be difficult for him to accept after the incident back then."

The Duke recalls the incident where Prince Helios cruelly broke off their engagement unilaterally and he deliberately proposed to Arina as a replacement for Dusk.

From that incident, the Duke who did not care at all, now felt regret. If only he cared about Dusk at that time, maybe now his daughter would not behave like that.

But for Dusk it was all just a futile regret, because now who was in front of the Duke was not Dusk but himself.

To him Duke was just a failed father in the household. Can't handle all the problems that come with his daughter so all this happens. Even when Consort Reliza viciously sent the original Dusk to leave her pavilion which is now occupied by Arina.

The Duke remained silent, he did not even see or listen to the original twilight groan at the time. He simply ignored the original Dusk and allowed it to continue living like trash.

"Your Majesty."

The Duke's subordinate nodded politely. He then walked towards Dusk after getting a light nod of his head by the Duke.

Dusk who had since seen the interaction between Duke and his subordinates could only sigh tiredly. He hoped that this situation would quickly end and that he could leave this place as soon as possible.

And sure enough, the subordinate came and invited Dusk to come out of the hall room. He politely guided Dusk to the door of the hall that was twice the size of a grown man.

Already several times Dusk said the word 'go' but the servants until now still remain firmly on his side.

"Hah, this is very tiring," Inner Dusk as he stepped away towards his room.

Honestly, this is very confusing for him. Since his return from the main mansion, he had already been greeted by the many servants who were in his pavilion.

Dusk could only sigh deeply upon learning that their presence was the wish of the Duke. This ha was so difficult for him because the more people around him, the harder it was for him to move.

This limits the scope of Dusk strictly. It was even difficult to escape from those servants. Even so, with the existence of this indicates that the Duke began to care for him.

"But for what?"

Dusk continued to ask in confusion, he also felt afraid that one of them or even the entirety of them was a spy from the Duke, he was afraid, or even worse, they are the men of Consort Reliza to limit her movement.

Dusk began to think about what things he should do to all of them. Clearly not all of them could go with him, moreover the Academy forbade its students from bringing in many servants.

It was fortunate that the rules of this Academy were extremely advantageous to Dusk. No need to bother thinking about them anymore. All he had to pay attention to right now was their loyalty to him.

"I'll mess things up from lunch onwards."

A strange smile began to be etched behind her sweet lips. He looks so cunning with the tip of his lips curved sharply, although the beauty still remains clearly visible from him.

"Miss!"

A call from the magic ball sounded as Dusk was about to step away towards his bed. A magic ball is a black ball that, when given power, generates a frequency vibration that turns it into a video call with a clear image.

"What's wrong?" tanya Dusk with furrowed brows was annoyed.

"Miss, all the preparations are done," replied the voice at the other end. He looked tired with sweat still pouring on his forehead.

"That's great, move on."

Dusk immediately disconnects the video call. He was tired of talking to Dian for a long time. He has no energy to eat or just breathe.

It felt so crowded, he did not even know since when he was lying on his bed. His body was weak, with breathing beginning to dashed. Perhaps this was a side effect because he had not rested enough before.

Dusk does not even realize that time has gone on for so long. He only wished that time could stop right now.

"Why do I miss that place" murmured Dusk as he thought of the dungeon belonging to the Empress Rose.

The basement was somehow able to make him feel calm. Like the entire burden of his life was gone in an instant. Even though he knew it was an illusion, it was fun.

"Hoam...!!"

Dusk stretched his body for a moment, he felt better after doing so. And without thinking long, Dusk decided to take a short nap while waiting for lunch time to arrive.
