Moonlight After Sunset's

Moonlight After Sunset's
[S2E55] Casting

"The most precious teacher is the past."

******************#####********************

After making the students panic, Prof Deru ruthlessly ordered them to start immediately. Many students found it difficult when the rune patterns displayed did not comply with the casting provisions.

Some of them have given up and decided to quit. Not much was said of Prof Deru when he saw the despair of his students, he was only indifferent while paying attention to the other students remaining.

"When you're 30 minutes away" exclaimed Prof Deru as Dusk focused on the pattern.

"To be honest I was ready a few minutes ago but if I raise my hand, then.."

Dusk slowly glanced at Kira who was still struggling with her rune pattern. It was clear that currently there were no more than five students left on the field.

They still hesitated and continued to tinker with the magic pattern in front of him. The twilight that saw them felt a little pity yet he did not intend to tell them the truth.

"I wonder what will happen to Kira,"

A strange smile began to emerge from the lips of Dusk, he looked like he was harboring a hidden grudge. Even so not many students cared about him, they were busy with their individual thoughts.

"Alright, since it's time to stay a little, I'll survey each of your patterns."

Prof Deru then moved from his seat, he went around looking at the magic patterns of each student before stating whether they succeeded or failed.

Casting will not be done if the magic patterns they create fail. But until now no students have managed to complete the pattern.

"Pretty good," said Prof Deru as he looked at Amir's magic pattern before telling him to get off the field.

"If you are more serious, then this pattern you can cast." he continued before moving on to the next student.

There was a sad expression on Amir's face that he could not cover. He felt frustrated and failed because he believed the talk of his classmates.

"I'll hit him after this" muttered Amir as he passed Dusk to get to the other side of the field.

"Hmm, pretty good but not perfect" exclaimed Prof Deru once again. And just like Amir, the girl was expelled before she could cast.

"Hoo, what is this?"

Prof Deru was a little shocked when he saw Kira's rune pattern. He was a little surprised but somehow Dusk could see a mocking smile from behind the corner of his lips.

"Alright, after being noticed you guys are pretty good and worthy enough to be cast." continued Prof Deru after seeing the magic pattern of Dusk and the man beside him.

"Try to cast them,"

After saying that, the male student next to Dusk immediately recited the spell and soon a small shield appeared around him.

The shield was faintly visible with a light green color that seemed to fade. Seeing that Dusk could deduce that the element of the man was the ground.

"Look at that," shouted another student who distracted Dusk.

There Dusk can see a deep red shield that wraps around Kira's body. The shield was thinner than the man next to Dusk just that the deep red color he had was so dense.

"That's more like black than red," murmured Dusk as he shook his head.

For some reason since the incident two days ago, every time Dusk saw Kira, his stomach immediately hurt and wanted to vomit.

"It was fortunate that the explosion of the previous student made Kira stop talking,"

Honestly, Dusk knew Kira's motive when approaching him earlier. He was a little dizzy when he smelled the smell of Kira's body which was like rotten meat. Fortunately, the student explosion made Kira not invite him to eat together.

"It would starve me to death if I ate with it."

From the day that Dusk improved his meridians, he could see which color more clearly. And of course its sensitivity to mana makes Dusk more sensitive to them.

"Alley!" call Prof Deru while Dusk is still glued in place.

"Do the casting immediately" he continued, followed by a derided view of other students.

Only Dusk is a person who has not activated his casting. He was too overwhelmed to see Kira's shield and the man beside him.

"Ah, good prof."

Soon Dusk recited a magic spell to activate his defense casting. After the casting was read out, the entire body of Dusk was now wrapped in a silver shield with a hint of green in the corner.

The shield was not as big as Kira's and not as thick as the man beside her. It was just that Dusk was certain that his shield was twice as strong as the one of the two.

This shield wraps the body of Dusk like a suit of armor, so fitting and perfect. Prof Deru put on a knotty smile when he saw the form of the Dusk shield. He slightly tilted his head before telling Dusk to cancel the casting.

"Everyone has been given a good example, look at the shield belonging to Dusk. It's so perfect, it's capable of enveloping your body like armor."

The students who heard Prof Deru's praise of Dusk could only sigh in envy. They hated when Dusk had the support of the professors and apprentice teachers in this place.

"It must be because of Luna's daughter's support that she can succeed."

"True, if only I had, too."

The jealous students did not even listen to Prof Deru's explanation of the perfect Dusk magic pattern. They were just busy gossiping and sneering at Dusk to make Prof Deru angry.

"Stop everything, lesson's over here."

With annoyance Prof Deru left the field. He was sick of hearing the babble of students who were jealous of the achievements of other students. He also did not expect that the simple runes belonging to Dusk were so perfect.

"Initially I thought the rune would only end with one shield, it turned out..."

Prof Deru believes that Dusk is like any other student who does not care about his class. But after seeing the show earlier, he was sure that Dusk could be an example for all of them.

"I can't wait for the next show" muttered Prof Deru as he looked at the stupid faces of his students.

"Huh,"

dusk could only sigh deeply when he saw the sudden departure of Prof Deru. He was sure for some reason that the classroom atmosphere would get worse after this incident.

"Somehow my back feels cold." murmured Dusk as he felt a chill pass by as fiercely as his back.

"Excuse me, can I talk to you for a second?"

The twilight that was about to return to the dormitory was startled with the faint voice of the man next to it.

"Ah, who?" tanya Dusk was shocked when she saw a man who was timidly approaching her.

"Sorry, my name is Ronald. I've been disrespectful to you."

"Oh, you're the guy you were, aren't you?"

"Hehehe, yes."

Ronald laughed embarrassedly upon seeing Dusk's startled reaction. He did not expect that this beautiful girl in his class would want to talk to him.

"I'm sorry, what's needed?" tanya Dusk curious.

"Ah yes, sorry. I was so fascinated by your shield, so..."

"So?"

"So, so I'd like to ask you for advice."

The twilight that saw Ronald's timid nature could only shake his head. I don't know why Ronald looks like a puppy to Dusk.

"Just this time I met a shy guy like him,"

"What advice do you need?"

"Oh that's about this,"

Ronald swiftly described his rune pattern. He is very sure if his pattern is not perfect and still needs to be improved again.

Twilight gently explained those patterns to Ronald. It is not so subtle as to keep all knowledge to itself.

"You just need to connect them like this,"

Dusk measures a pattern of box-shaped runes with the center filled by several small star sizes. The carvings of each star are connected so as to form a beautiful new pattern.

"Thank you, I get it now." exclaimed Ronald before putting all the paper in his bag.

"Well, if there's nothing else to ask. I'm gonna go."

When Dusk was about to leave, Ronald swiftly pulled his Twilight wrist with his timid face.

"That.., that. Don't mind their talk. You're a good girl, so stay happy."

After saying that Ronald went in a hurry. He ran as fast as he could and of course as he thought. A few steps later, he fell down with his shoes off his feet.

"You all right?" ask the students who met Ronald.

"No, I'm good," Ronald retorted before taking his shoes and running away.

"He why?" murmured that from the beginning saw the incident. He felt funny with the nature of Ronald who was so brave to hold his wrist.

"She's funny too,"
