Moonlight After Sunset's

Moonlight After Sunset's
[S2E21] Changes

"Every secret must have a purpose in it, just like that place."

"Miss!" vanilla shouted as Dusk first opened his eyes. He looked surprised with a confused face. His tail continued fluttering around while observing the entire body of Dusk.

"Is Miss okay?"

Vanilla's sudden question made Dusk surprised, his eyebrows even look almost fused when Vanilla turned her head to the body of Dusk.

Honestly, Dusk is confused as to what kind of behavior this time. He chose to push Vanilla away and saw what was going on with her.

Dusk examined his entire body, but he did not find anything strange there. He tried to re-examine his body by pressing slowly on the area. But again, he found nothing.

"Huh, what is this?" tanya Dusk was upset. He looks so emotional especially after the incident a while ago.

Vanilla just silently watched the lady. He was reluctant to speak or explain what had happened before when his lady was busy sleeping under the tree.

"Vanilla!" twilight shouted as Vanilla ignored him and chose to go play with the rabbit that had just flown towards them.

The ignored twilight could only sigh deeply while continuing to inspect his body parts. He was a little curious about the reaction Vanilla had given him before.

Dusk knew Vanilla had never acted that way to him, despite being only joking. He knew the nature of his sacred animal. Obviously Vanilla was hiding something from him.

Dusk tired of the secret place decided to leave Vanilla alone there. He then returned to his Pavilion to rest.

But how shocked Dusk was when he found the day that had gone on that day. He was confused by a difficult facial expression to describe.

"What the fuck? I feel like I've only been down there 3 hours."

Dusk complains with disbelief, as if time were running fast here. Dusk was very sure that he was only in the basement for 3 hours only and it was nothing less and nothing more.

"But what is this?" he mumbled in disbelief.

"Wouldn't the time in the basement and the real time be different" he continued as he was about to walk to the Rose Empress's garden.

"Miss."

Eza approached Dusk in a hurry. He looked like he was being chased by something urgent.

"Miss, Mr. Duke is currently looking for you."

Hearing the word 'Duke' made both of Dusk's eyes bulge in shock. He looked unhappy with his slightly raised lips.

"Duke wanted to discuss something important with Miss, but I told the Duke's servant that you were resting to recuperate, and then he came back."

Eza then explained everything that happened at that time to Dusk. It was fortunate that he had loyal subordinates like Eza.

"So the point is, I need to keep seeing Duke before returning to Academics."

"If Miss doesn't like it, I can tell them this."

"No need, I'll see him after this."

Dusk then leaves Eza after telling him to deliver a message of his arrival to Duke.

Arriving at the Pavilion, Dusk quickly threw himself into the bathtub for a soak. He looks comfortable with the warm water which starts to make his body more relaxed than before.

Dusk was still thinking about the incident that had happened to him, but now was not the time for Dusk to think about it.

He became curious as to what reason was causing the Duke to call him at this moment. Whether the Duke wanted to inquire about the events in the empress Pavilion or vice versa.

"What did Consort Reliza say to her?"

He instead became more interested in what false stories his stepmother would give to make Dusk cornered as usual.

"It's going to be interesting" he said as he picked up a towel and rushed off towards the dressing room.

A few moments later, Dusk came out with simple clothes nuanced nature. His clothes are silver in tune with his hair color while for the bottom, combined with a light blue jeans skirt.

"Please Miss."

Outside the Pavilion was already the Duke's servant waiting for the arrival of Dusk. He purposely stood outside the Pavilion because Eza strictly forbade them from entering the inner region.

With a light greeting, Dusk followed the servant to the main house. There he was confronted by Consort Amarylis who seemed very upset by the presence of Dusk in the residence.

The same was true for the Consorts of Reliza and some of her loyal subordinates. They looked at Dusk with a sneer that seemed so clear.

Dusk simply ignored the two with an indifferent look. He thought they were just living statues that were nothing more than trash.

"If it wasn't for the son of a bitch, Sarah might have gotten her position by now" muttered Consort Amarylis as she stomped her feet before leaving the place.

"Damn it, I'll kill him one day."

Compared to Consort Amarylis who clearly showed his dislike, Consort Reliza instead looked relaxed with a sharp eye piercing.

He stared at Dusk from head to toe. His sight never separated from the side of the Sun. He looked at Dusk as if it could pierce through the skin of Dusk and kill him. Like a laser ready to fire a bullet right into the heart of Dusk.

"Mrs..."

A servant approached Consort Reliza and whispered right in her ear. I don't know what the servant said, but surely at once the face of Consort Reliza darkened with teeth clashing together.

He then looked back at Dusk with a murderous look, very different from before. Dusk only returned with a mischievous smile, as if he knew what they were talking about.

Irritatedly Consort Reliza left the place right after Dusk entered the main part of the hall of the Duke's residence. That place was not an ordinary place that anyone could enter, only those who were summoned were allowed to enter the hall.

The hall was a place where sinners would be questioned and interrogated. That's how this place was created. The original twilight used to come to this place often because of punitive calls.

He was called because he had committed crimes against Sarah or Arina. It often happens because of the influence of Amel who always provokes the original Dusk to always fight.

"Wait a minute Miss." exclaimed the maid before leaving Dusk alone at the door of the hall.

The waiter then went to his partner and whispered softly. They were seen chatting seriously before one of them left and opened the hall door for Dusk.

"Please enter Miss."

The door opened wide and revealed its contents. Quietly, Dusk stepped into the room. Just as his third step, the door of the hall closed again.

Dusk is no longer surprised by it, indeed whenever there is a meeting or punishment, the door is always locked tightly. This is done so that no one knows what is going on in it.

"Greetings Duke, may the tranquility of nature always protect you."

The Duke simply waved his hand and told Dusk to sit on the chair he had prepared beforehand. Without many words Dusk then went towards the empty seat.

"Lumayan" murmured after he occupied the chair. At first he thought if the chair was itchy or there was something strange in it, it was nothing at all.

"The Senja de Ari."

Duke's call felt strange, his voice trembling slightly with a subtle tone so that it involuntarily made Dusk look into his eyes.

"Sorry...!"

The next word that was thrown by Duke suddenly made Dusk creep. He involuntarily held his breath and began to sweat coldly.

"Damn, what else is this?"
