AUTHOR POV....
This is where Devan and Abraham are now, in Devan's office in his mansion. Of course not for no reason but talking about the relationship Devan and Nayla are real.
Abraham stared out of the window with both hands in his pants pocket. Look at the yard that there are various kinds of plants.
"So, you two aren't married yet? but why is Nayla in your house. And why did the boy call you Dad?"
The question sounded so cold, so clear was interrogating Devan who was now sitting on the sofa right behind Abraham.
"Explain everything to papa, Dev. Nothing you hide anymore. After papa Nayla is also still alone and does not have a husband let alone have children," Imbuhnya again and still in the same position.
Devan was still silent, from which he would start to say all to his papa who had already known Nayla. Moreover, Mr. Abraham knows Nayla with another status who is still a girl and has never been married like his son.
"Why are you just silent, is there no explanation for this? Or maybe you actually have a serious relationship but outside of marriage? or maybe you're fornicating to the point that you have kids?" mr. Abraham now turned his head and stepped towards Devan's place and sat down on the other sofa that was in front of Devan.
Devan immediately shook his head, everything Abraham said was not true. They did not commit adultery for that long, especially until they gave birth to a child, Ara. Indeed Devan had done it with Nayla but only once did it happen because of anger in a misunderstanding.
"No, Pa. Devan didn't do that. Devan is also new to Nayla after replacing papa in Gudia company. Before that never met and also knew him."
Devan begins to dare to speak out to explain all that is true for him and Nayla.
"From that time, but have you brought her home? why, did you make a mistake, Dev?"
Mr. Abraham's eyes were so rounded staring at Devan who this time was silent. Will he forgive if he has made a mistake?
"Why are you silent, does that mean true?" the words of Mr. Abraham were so affirming to Devan.
"Papa never taught you that, Dev. Doesn't papa always say that you should respect and respect women? you have a mother, and it is possible that you will also have a daughter how you feel if someone has abused them! papa's really disappointed in you, Dev."
Mr. Abraham was so angry even though Devan had not said that it had ever happened. But, Devan's silence didn't that explain everything?
"Sorry, Pa. Devan is really sorry. And that's why Devan brought Nayla to Devan's house, Pa."
Devan is bowed between regret and fear. Indeed what he did was right, he wanted to take responsibility for everything he had done to Nayla but still Mr. Abraham was very sorry this happened.
"Then the kid?" abraham looked at Devan again.
"He's Nayla's son, Pa."
Abraham's sir gasped, son? isn't the Nayla he knows still alone?
"Kids? does that mean he's married?"
"You're really outrageous, Dev. You're gonna destroy other people's homes."
Although Mr. Abraham was still disappointed because Nayla had lied to him but he also did not justify what Devan did. Nayla and her husband's relationship will surely be ruined because of her son Devan.
"Yes, if Nayla's still married, Pa. But in reality Nayla is no longer a wife. Her husband divorced her, Pa. And you know who her ex-husband could have left her and made her fake her identity to get into Gudia's company?"
Mr. Abraham was so waiting for the continuation of Devan's words, of course he was very curious about Nayla's husband who had left her to make Nayla lie.
"He is Aditya Wilman. Devan's own best friend. She leaves Nayla having just had their wedding one month and she abandons Nayla until she has a child even Aditya himself does not know that he has a child with Nayla. That's why he lied to papa."
Mr. Abraham couldn't believe Aditya was like that. Yesterday he came home and he is still like he used to be still so good and also has good manners so how could it be?
"And because of that lie too that made Devan darken his eyes and made a mistake on Nayla, Pa. Devan's sorry, Devan's really khilaf."
Devan is very sorry for having made that mistake that can not be played again to be prevented from happening.
"Whatever the problem is but what you did to her is still not true, Dev. You were wrong for hurting her."
"It's not with papa that you have to apologize, but to Nayla. He's the one you've hurt." Abraham again asserted.
"Have he forgiven you?" abraham and Devan asked quickly.
Although Nayla never said it and also had occasionally smiled because of her actions but the apology Devan had not gotten, she was still very angry with Devan.
Mr. Abraham looked limp between disappointed and angry. His back immediately leaned against the back of the sofa with both hands rubbing his face rough then scrambling his hair as well.
Obviously Nayla was still angry with Devan because what he did was not sick from just being hit and injuring her body. But everything she hurts, Nayla's inner birth is affected by what she does.
The disappointment in Nayla was no greater than the disappointment in her own son Devan. He never taught Devan to hurt a woman like this. This has really gone too far.
"Papa's really very disappointed in you, Dev. Your actions are really very bad," said Mr. Abraham who seemed to be intolerant again.
"Papa was very disappointed because Nayla lied, what she did was also unenforceable. He's wrong, too."
"Papa thought she was a really honest and nice woman was not that smooth" he added.
They did not know there was a pair of eyes that saw them and his ears that heard the conversation of the two of them. She was Nayla peeking at the entrance of the room that was slightly open.
His tears had broken because of Abraham's disappointment with him, he already knew this would happen but why it felt so painful.
The effort he had been doing all this time because he wanted to meet his needs and also his son, he did not intend to lie to anyone. But how else, all are wrong to lie for any reason can not be justified.
"You deserve to be disappointed in me and my mistakes don't deserve to be forgiven. Nayla does not deserve to be forgiven" muttered Nayla who continued to tear up.
"As a good woman she should be able to stay away from all possibilities of anything that could happen to her. Not intentionally like this."
Mr. Abraham's voice sounded increasingly dislike Nayla, spilling all her anger before Nayla's own eyes which she did not know.
"But, Pa. This is not all his fault. All this because of her irresponsible husband!" Devan tries to defend Nayla, because in her eyes it is not Nayla who is wrong but Aditya.
"Whatever it's done is wrong, Dev."
The words that came out of Mr. Abraham made Nayla's heart even more sick, she also felt she could no longer survive in the house. What can be defended, right? He and Devan have no relationship either.
"All of me is wrong, I am the root of all this. Forgive Nayla, I'm sorry" Nayla ran from there to the room with the intention of getting out of the house.
Naturally Nayla felt unworthy to be among people who had good dignity like the Devan family.
While in Devan's room, Abraham had already begun to assuage his anger and his words had already sounded soft.
"Despite your and Nayla's mistakes, I hope you remain accountable to Nayla. One mistake from him could not seal all the kindness and sincerity in his heart."
"If he really does not have any bond with other men, then marry him and take responsibility" said Mr. Abraham.
Devan thought Abraham would be very angry with him and would not approve if Devan wanted to take responsibility, but it turned out? mr. Abraham himself said that Devan should do that.
"Well, Pa," of course Devan won't refuse because that's what prayers have been thinking from yesterday, but his intentions are still hindered sorry from Nayla who is still angry with him.
"And one more. Take Nayla to the doctor, see if she knows she's really pregnant with your child" Abraham said.
"Ba_well, Pa." Even if Devan didn't ask her to do it, she wanted to see if Nayla was really pregnant with her child. If it is true then she should immediately take responsibility and marry him.
