So In Love

So In Love
EP. 10. Psychos

********

The next day, Shien was already preparing to return home from the hospital. His body condition had improved enough, thus he was allowed to go home that day as well. In the nursery there is still Shanna and Mama who since yesterday accompanied him with Aunt Hilda.

“Shi, while you stay at your parents' house, yes?” Says Aunt Hilda carefully. His retorting suddenly made Shien frown his forehead clueless. What does Aunt Hilda mean? Is he willing to shoo her out subtly or help Mama persuade her? Because, since then Mama has continued to ask Shien to come home with her. Likewise with Shanna who issued all her seduction techniques to persuade her sister. But Shien only responded coldly and once said he rejected it outright.

“Tante ngusir me?” Shien asked while smiling wryly.

“There is Aunt ngusir you.” Sambar Aunt Hilda fast. “Tante has to go to America for ten days, Aunty can not leave you alone at home without supervision. Moreover, your legs hurt.” He continued, hoping that his nephew could understand.

“At home, right, there's aunty.” Shien said he still could not accept if he had to stay at his parents' house even if it was only temporary.

“He's new, Aunt can't trust him yet.” Said Aunt Hilda while putting on a clear face for Shien to obey.

“Then Fina can take care of me like an ordinary.” Shien is still in the thick of it.

“Lately you will know that the office is busy, Fina also has to work, Shi.”

“Tante don't worry, I can take care of myself, kok.” Shien said coldly, he then threw his face away as if asking Aunt Hilda not to discuss anymore about her who should stay at her parents' house temporarily.

“What's the trouble, anyway, Shi, come with us home?” Sambar Shanna was a little upset because the sister was very difficult to persuade. Though, he and Mama would only take Shien home, not into the wilderness.

“Sorry, I'm not comfortable if I don't live in my own home.” Sahut Shien was full of emphasis.

“Where do we go home? Clearly Mama's house is our home. Your home is also.” Shanna said fiercely, but she still kept her tone so as not to yell at the sister.

“Our house? My house? You seem to have mispronounced, brother.” Shien's reply was accompanied by one corner of his pursed lips forming a sinister smile. He then looked at Shanna with his cold gaze as if ready to freeze Shanna.

Shanna's words clearly made Mama's heart hurt. And then again, he could only exhale heavily.

“Ha-ha. Cute.” Shien continued, he then got off his patient bed, then walked limped because his leg was still sore. Shien intended to leave his ward. Yeah, he better get home by himself in a taxi than to have to hear Aunt Hilda speak to persuade him.

“You are either aunty or . . .” Aunty Hilda's cry succeeded in stopping Shien's hand that was about to open the door. The girl turned back to look at the Aunt with a questionable look.

“Or you can't be part of Snow Candy anymore.” Threatening Aunt Hilda made Shien snort. For a moment he fell silent while looking at Aunt Hilda with a clear look, but the middle-aged woman replied with a defiant look.

Shien was still unmoved, then he hissed his head while squeezing his fingers. Shit, Aunt Hilda found a loophole to threaten him.

“30% of your shares in Snow Candy Aunt take back and you can Aunty blacklist from the world of writers. You know, right, auntie is able to do it . . .”

“Ten days.” Shien interrupted the sentence that Aunt Hilda was about to say.

Everyone who heard it automatically smiled happily, especially Mama. A feeling of happiness instantly burst into his heart. After a long time, he was finally able to bring home his youngest daughter. The princess he had neglected for so many years, he promised to make up for all the time lost as long as Shien ignored him first. He realized, it would not be easy to get Shien's trust back, but he would try.

“Tante don't go more than ten days.” Imbuh Shien with a heavy heart. Inevitably, he had to obey what Aunt Hilda said. Snow Candy and writing are his life and his future, where he can be kicked out just like that.

“Emm, no promise.” Aunt Hilda greeted him with a clingy and ignorant grin.

“Tante . . .” Shien slightly whined with a face that was bent sour. Aunt Hilda who saw him just chuckled amusedly.

“As you wish, little girl.” Said Aunt Hilda, calming the niece who looked restless. Clearly, Shien was afraid that the Tanten would return much longer. For him, only Aunt Hilda he had, he did not want Aunt Hilda far from his reach for too long.

*******

Aunty Hilda's BMW 7 Series stops in front of a towering iron-fenced house.

The towering high fence at the front of the house opened automatically when Aunt Hilda honked her car horn.

Suddenly Shien's palms broke out in cold sweat as Aunt Hilda's car began to enter the grounds of the two-story mansion with the monochrome theme.

“Until.” Fun Aunt Hilda shortly after successfully parked her car.

Shien fluttered, his gaze down every corner of the mansion grounds. It still looks beautiful and beautiful like before. There was no significant change from the house.

“Come down.” Take Aunt Hilda, wake up Shien who is immersed in her own thoughts. Not directly down, for a moment Shien seemed to think. He hesitated whether to go down or not. Ahh, he really didn't want to go into that house. There are too many bad memories.

“Malah bengong, spout down.” Shien was a little surprised that Aunt Hilda knew that she had opened the door for him. He did not even realize when the middle-aged woman got out of the car first.

“Tan . . .” Shien put on a face as if asking Aunt Hilda to return to drive him home.

“Free ten days.” Aunt Hilda emphasized while sharing a knotty smile.

“Hiish.” Shien snorted while pursing his lips. Then he got out of the car.

For a moment he again observed the yard of his house that looked lonely like it was uninhabited. Though, it is still day. In the past, the yard always lived with the laughter of Shanna and Shawn who played chases, or a small commotion between the three of them while scrambling to pick up the rabbit that was their pet. Shien smiled wryly remembering that, suddenly his heart became foggy.

Shien was still flinching in place, then his head looked up, staring towards the balcony of his quiet room. He saw his bedroom curtains fluttering, it seemed like the door was deliberately opened to let fresh air and sunlight into the room.

His eyes narrowed, avoiding the thin light of the sun. However, Shien could not escape the sudden memory popping up in his head.

Long ago, Shien had already accepted the fact regarding the old man ignoring him. Although not once twice his heart ached every time he received a flash of unpleasant memories about his parents.

Now, he returned to the house he had long left behind. He doesn't know what to behave like later. Maybe like a guest? Yeah, like that. After all, he and his parents had been like strangers ever since they ignored him.

I don't know what kind of treatment he will get from his parents. Although Shien saw the mother of two days look good, but did not know with the father. Perhaps the man would still be cold and cynical to her. Yes, it must have been like that because Shien's whereabouts might not be so important. He did not even see Papa coming with Mama when he met her at Aunt Hilda's house at that time.

Shien silently smiled smirkily. It turned out that after a long time he tried to erase all expectations of his parents, but still his instincts as a child who longed for attention suddenly appeared.

“Stupid.” Inner Shien, cursed to himself.

Sighing heavily, Shien then began to step foot on Aunt Hilda who had already walked first with Mama and Shien.

“Welcome home . . .” Shanna exclaimed as soon as she opened the door of the house while widening her arms, welcoming Shien's arrival with a happy heart. While the welcomed one only responded with a flat expression. Thought Shien, he was just visiting.

For a moment Shien circulated his gaze around the corner of the room he could still afford, nothing changed from the interior of the house. Just a sofa and some big vases of home porcelain that look brand new.

Until his gaze ended on the family photo displayed on the wall. The corner of his eyes looks down, can not be separated from the photo depicting a happy little family. There, Shawn sits between Mama and Papa, while Shanna and Shien sit on the laps of the parents. Shanna on Mama's lap and Shien sitting on Papa's lap. Everyone was smiling happily there.

Speaking of Papa, where is he now? Unknowingly, Shien's matan ball circled again, searching for the whereabouts of the figure.

“Papa has been abroad for a week. Later tonight or tomorrow morning he just came home.” Mama said as if to understand, so as to make the girl slightly jerked, but hurriedly returned to put on a calm and flat expression.

“Nanya also.” Shien murmured softly, yet Mama could still hear him. He smiled faintly as Shien responded to his remark.

“Yes if so Auntie goes now, yes.” Said Aunt Hilda while gently stroking Shien's hair.

“Lho, how fast?” Shien asked inadmissively. “Iya, why rush? We drink tea for a while.” Connect your mother to her sister-in-law.

Aunt Hilda put on a sorry face, then saw a luxury Swiss-made watch that coiled around her wrist before she said. “The flight is soon, I don't have time, Ma'am.” Shien exhaled heavily hearing it.

“Tante go now, yes. Your stuff later Fina anterin.” Said Aunt Hilda. Shien simply nodded nonchalantly. He was like a little boy who did not accept being entrusted by his mother in daycare.

“Mbak, I tipped Shien, yes.” Said Aunt Hilda then who immediately made the look of Mama's face slightly turned sour. There was a feeling of unworthiness when Aunt Hilda said that.

“Don't talk like that, Shien my son.” Mama was full of emphasis on her last word. “Hehe, I'm a kayak gini habit, Ma'am, if you want to nitipin Shien fit want me to stay.” Aunt Hilda chuckled in an amused snort by Mama.

Shortly after, Aunt Hilda passed away going out of the house. Shien looked at the departure of his Tanten with an unwilling look.

“You go to the gih room, rest first. Mama will call if you want lunch.” Mama stroked Shien's shoulder, but soon the girl distanced herself. Mama just smiled bitterly at the rejection of her son for the umpteenth time.

Not wanting to linger near Mama, Shien then went up one by one stairs to the second floor where his room was located. But, Shien's legs were like heavy to drag. It seems, some of the tagga children that exist become multiplied. The stairs seemed to lead him to bad memories in this house. Though, there were also many good memories here, but it was as if those bad memories were covering it up just like that. Getting into this house really opens up old wounds.

Arriving at the door of his room, with trembling hands he grabbed the door handle and opened it. The citrus scent he liked greeted Shien as soon as he walked into the room.

His gaze then stopped at a children's diary lying on the study table. Her diary book.

Shien picked up the diary book, then opened it and read it randomly.

“I want Papa to hear my reading.”

“I want to read a fairy tale before going to bed with Mama.”

“I want to go to Dufan with Mama and Papa.”

“I want to go to the zoo with Mama and Papa.”

“I want to be loved by Mama and Papa again.”

“I want . . .”

Shien closed his book, so many stupid hopes for his parents that he wrote there.

Shien smiled wryly, then took a deep breath, holding back any desire to cry.

“Sialan.” Bump him while throwing the diary book into the right corner of the room into the trash can.

Not wanting to linger struggling with unpleasant memories, Shien chose to rest his body. He then walked to the bed and placed his bag just like that on the mattress.

However, Shien again grabbed his bag when he heard his phone vibrate. “He what?” Shien muttered as he frowned as he read the name on his phone screen. There were about thirty missed calls and ten messages from the same person “Princeku”.it seemed like Sky contacted Shien's phone while he was on his way and Shien was unaware of it.

“She's some kind of psycho or what?” Shien screeched in amusement as he found so many calls from the Sky.

He thought, it's okay if it's from Fina or Aunt Hilda, but Sky, right, the person he just met.

Seeking a comfortable position by sitting on a chair while leaning against the headbord of the bed, Shien began to read one by one the messages Sky sent.

“Why hasn't my phone been picked up?”

“Wooii, your phone is broken?” Shien snorted reading this one message, then his index finger re-scrolled the touch screen of his phone to continue reading messages from a very confident person calling himself a prince.

“I heard from Shanna you're home?” Shien chirped, what's the deal with him?

“I want to charge a fee. Don't try to dodge.” Shien's mouth was slightly gaping, he couldn't believe this man was actually asking for payment. Who asked him to treat her at the time? “Calculation basis.” Grunts Shien.

“If you dodge, now I know where to look for you.” The girl snorted. No need to ask anymore, surely her brother Shanna had already told her everything about Shien.

“Tract me lunch and dinner three times.”

“This is called extortion.” Shien glanced. He glanced at the wound on his leg. The sky only applied ointment and wrapped his knees with bandages, but the pay was excessive. After all, who asked him to treat her?

“Tomorrow, I wait for you to make lunch at a western restaurant near the hospital.”

“If you don't come, I'll take you to the office.”

“True.” Shien growled in annoyance while squeezing the phone he was holding.

“Focus so much, what else, anyway?” Shien misbehaved when he saw Shanna enter the room and now approached him. The girl was carrying a large pack of potato chips in her hand.

“Leg discuss work.” Shien replied trying to put on as calm an expression as possible. He then kept his phone under a pillow, with no intention of reading the last message Sky had sent.

“Ohh.” Shanna was just a ria-ohh while putting three pieces of chips into her mouth. He then crawled up to the bed, then lay down with Shien's thigh as a cushion.

“Kaaak.” Gulp Shien with a protest look. “Ngapain, anyway?” Shien moved his legs to get Shanna out of the way.

Shanna frowning. “Jutek really, anyway. You are not so excited to be a person. ” He then continued his activities eating chips, causing his chips to stain the bed. Shien who liked cleanliness more than anything immediately rained down on her brother with an annoyed look.

“Pake pillow, dong. After all, if you get into bed, do not bring food. Dirty tuh, right, aah.” Shien blurted out with a veiled face. While Shanna just smiled triumphantly because it managed to make the sister upset and talk a lot to him.

“Take kayak gini.” Reply Shien who tried to secure the position of his head.

“Old time we are not kayak gini, Shi.” Shanna continued, his memory immediately glared to the time he and Shien were young. He used to sleep on Shien's lap like this.

“Do not go again.” Shanna looked at Shien with a sad look, implied by the deep longing behind the glare of those clear eyes. For a moment their views clashed, but Shien immediately ended it. Shien could not linger staring into those eyes, for fear that his cries would break. He misses Shanna very much, very big.

“Hmm.” Sahut Shien then while nodding softly. He then snatched the snack from his brother's hand, then put a few pieces of potato chips into his mouth to hide his sad face.

“Shi . . .” Call Shanna.

“Hmm.” Shanna said briefly, besides her mouth was still full of potato chips.

“Let's not be too cold with Mama and Papa, they've been aware of it for a long time. I hope you can forgive them.”

Instantly Shien's chewing stopped. His throat had difficulty swallowing food. Something's stuck in there, sadness. If they've been conscious for a long time, why not try to bring him home? Why never contact him? Why don't they apologize? Ck, he can't believe it.

Whether it was true that he was conscious or not, it was obvious that Shien would definitely be hard to accept them back in his heart.

“Please don't discuss something silly, sis.” Shien smiled wryly.

“I’m serious about this.”

“If you still want to discuss them, go there.” Sambar Shien while turning his face away.

Shanna sighed deeply, then threw it away quickly. “Okay, we don't discuss that anymore.” Shanna recaptured her snack from Shien's hand.

“Eung . . , what if we discuss . . .” Shanna rolled her eyes to think.

“Si the handsome doctor . . .” Excitement then. Shien frowned. Which doctor did Shanna mean?

“How do you think he is?” Shanna asked with a big smile.

“Cashable. Doctor Nathan is too chatty and weak-hearted.” Shien's submissive voice made Shanna's smile slowly recede. He knows Nathan's doctor is handsome, but he's not what Shanna meant.

“Not him . . .” Shanna threw some potato chips at Shien's face which she immediately brushed aside.

“SHANNA.” Shien cried out in annoyance as Shanna further littered her bed. But Shanna just considered it with a flick of the shoulder no matter what.

“One more time you call my name, I'll spill all these chips right now.” Threaten Shanna, make Shien snort.

“Not doctor Nathan.” Shanna returned to the topic.

“But Sky.” Continue with a smile that expands again. Ahh, Shanna is always excited if she remembers the Sky.

“How do you think he is?”

“Which I know, just know enggak.” Shien replied with a look of indifference.

“Hiish.” Shanna scowled, this little sister really has no pleasant side. Really stiff.

“But handsome, right?” Shanna asked again as she raised her eyebrows.

“Everyone will look handsome and beautiful in the eyes of the right person.” Shien's comments are realistic. This made Shanna snort again. Wanted to be refuted, but Shien's answer made too much sense.

“In your eyes how is he? Are you interested in him?” For a moment Shien was stunned to hear this one Shanna question.
