EP. 95. Fiancee

The sky was leisurely walking in the hospital corridor after a while ago he finished his work. His face looked radiant with a faint smile engraved clearly on his lips.

A year has passed, and today is the time. It was time for him and Shien to meet again. The sky was so impatient to arrive at the apartment to clean up and then put on her best clothes to welcome the girl.

Sky's steps came to a halt as a coin rolled down and stopped just below the foot as it smashed into his shiny pantofel shoes.

The Sky Body bowed and took the coin. An Australian silver coin bearing the koala. He smiled at the coin, as his memory fell on the day he and Shien were reunited for the first time.

Starting from a coin that accidentally falls rolling, he meets Shien and falls in love with her at first sight. The girl fascinated and curious at once.

Shien. The first girl who did not want to accept his helping hand, even when Heaven itself offered it.

Ahh, the sky misses him. Really missed him. Will the girl come as she promised? The sky hope so. He had no idea whether Shien would return today because Shien had been hard to contact lately. And instead, Shien had not contacted him until now.

Long distance relationships are difficult. Moreover, cross country as well as Sky and Shien.

In the beginning, they relate very smoothly either by phone, chat messages, or video calls. But over time, it is increasingly rarely done because of the busyness of each and also the time difference is quite far.

Sometimes Sky fell asleep while waiting for Shien to contact him because in Indonesia it was late at night, or vice versa.

But even so, both Sky and Shien still try to contact each other. From that every day, to three times a week, then once a week, once a month, and in the future increasingly rare. Especially when Shien tells Sky to go on a tour around the world with her parents, the girl is increasingly unreachable and the communication of the two is completely cut off.

Shien once sent a photo showing himself in a flower garden in Keukenhof, Netherlands, and pinned the message that he would be back soon. That was a message from two months ago. After that there was no news, until today. And Sky could not see his activities from a distance because Shien did not have social media. Just remember if the girl is very protective of privacy in her life.

Despite this, Sky believed Shien would not abandon him and definitely returned as he had promised.

“April?” One Sky Eyebrow lifted as soon as it found the ten-year-old girl standing before him, staring at him flatly. He was a patient of Sky who one week ago had a liver transplant operation.

“That's a coin of luck.” Said the little girl, making the Sky speechless for hearing this a second time.

He smiled amusedly, actually where did the children here get coins like this and say it was a lucky coin? But for luck, it's a little bit of a point because he experienced it himself. The sky was lucky to meet Shien because of the Australian silver coin.

“Have you?” Sky handed the coin in his hand in April.

The little girl nodded. “I'm lucky to have a new heart. This is for Doctor only.” April pushed the hand of Heaven outstretched at her. “This is a gift because the Doctor has already done me. Good luck.”

“Hey, Son.” The sky crouched down to align her body with April. “There is no such thing as a lucky thing or anything of this kind in the world. That's myth.” Said the Sky while rubbing the top of the girl's head in an anxious manner.

“But old man said that it was lucky coin.” April said as she pointed at the coin in Heaven's hand.

The sky nodded in wonder. “Old grandfather?” Ask. “Who? Can you meet him?” The sky would actually reprimand the old man for already instilling primitive thoughts in a child.

“This is confidential. But. . .” April glanced to the right and to the left and front and back as if to ensure that the situation was safe, she then moved her hand, instructing Heaven to lower her head. “Say, that grandpa owns this hospital.” Whisper later.

The Eye of Heaven was bulging, he even nearly choked on his own saliva. This time he found out where the Australian coin came from as well as the spreader of his myth. But he did not expect that it was Om Rendy, the President Director of the Hospital and the father of his best friend, Blue.

If it was like this, where Heaven dared to rebuke him, the one was even fired.

The sky rolled his eyes puffed. No wonder, too, that Om Rendy spread such myths. Because of what he heard from Blue, the old man was more worthy of being called a psychic instead of the President. It was only light because of his behavior that liked to believe such things.

“April, but all that bo–” Sky does not continue his sentence because know-know April has gone from before him.

Grunting tickled, he then moved. Almost forgot his goal to go home and clean up. Ohh, yes. The sky also forgot not to buy fireworks ordered by the girl.

White printed T-shirt combined with a suit and mocca color pants became the choice of the sky that night. A bouquet of Calla lily flowers and three packs of sparkle type fireworks have also been prepared.

The sky was already sitting sweetly on a chair in the playground to wait for Shien's arrival. The park is very quiet. There's only himself there. Understandably, most people prefer to celebrate the new year at the beach, city park, or at home with family.

Sky looked up. Up there looks flickering. Apparently the new year's fireworks that people lit can still be seen from there.

Time and time again the Sky glanced at the leather-bound clock that was coiling on his wrist. It's been almost twelve o'clock. Almost five hours after his arrival to the playground he waited, and Shien did not come.

Exhaling heavily, the sky began to pessimize, his head lowered miserably. Has Shien forgotten his promise? Promise to return on new year's night and count down the turn of the year together, did Shien forget about it?

The sky reached into the phone from the pocket of the suit and retrieved it, intending to contact Shien. Who knows, could.

But after ten minutes had passed, the sky again exhaled in disappointment. Shien's number could not be reached, the same as before.

He lyrics again his watch, and the turn of the year is almost here. As a result, Sky counted down on its own, hoping Shien would come as he reached the count of one.

“Five. . .”

“Four. . .”

“Three. . .”

“Two. . .”

“One. . .”

And Shien still did not show up. The sky stared at the flowers and fireworks lying next to him with a disappointed look.

He was no longer mean to Shien. The girl had forgotten him.

Sky knew the reason Shien went to America was to calm down. But that doesn't mean the girl should forget about it either, does it? Totally selfish.

If it was going to end up like this, why would Shien have to ask Sky to wait for him that time? Cih, Sky has even bought fireworks as per his request.

Then with a feeling of annoyance, disappointment, and also sadness, the sky burned one by one of the three packets of fireworks he bought earlier. It was still in the hope that Shien would come in the middle that he burned the thing that gave rise to that beautiful spark.

But until the three packets of fireworks burned out, Shien remained non-existent. The new year is over fifteen minutes. And the Sky chose to depart from that place with a feeling of disappointment filling his heart.

Meanwhile Shien. The girl was still on her way to the playground while occasionally grumbling with annoyance because the streets were so crowded. Of course it is filled with people who will enliven the new year.

Fifteen more minutes of the new year arrived and Shien was still in the car. This happened because after returning home from the funeral Shien had to take Papa to the Pet Shop to find equipment for his new pet. A sphynx cat that Shien thought was ridiculous because the cat was almost as if it had no fur.

Almost no Pet Shop is open due to the day leading up to the new year. He and Papa almost went around Bandung just to find a pet store that was still open. Lucky they found one.

But that's why Shien was late to meet the Sky. He arrived home almost nine in the evening, not to mention he had to shower and dress up first. The surprise he had planned for the sky. Shien did not even intentionally contact the man if he had returned to Indonesia since this afternoon.

Actually Shien could have rejected Papa. But since he was his only child now, Shien could no longer treat his parents like that. If it wasn't Shien, who else would have made them happy? Papa's request isn't even a big thing. Just accompany her to the pet store.

Shien hit the steering wheel hard as the other vehicles in front of him did not move an inch.

Ohh, yes. One more advance. Now Shien can drive his own car. Shien was also already good at reading maps, so there was no need to worry anymore if he wanted to go everywhere himself due to being directional blind.

Shien arrived at the playground at exactly one night. He doubted that the sky was still there. But, if Sky believed him, he would definitely wait for Shien.

Shien immediately ran away and returned to the car after he saw a bouquet of flowers and fireworks splattered on the seat.

Shien had already confirmed that the Sky had come there and had already left. The girl came back quickly not merely knowing the Sky had already left the playground, but Shien was afraid of lingering there alone.

Until finally Shien arrived behind the wheel of his car, he did not immediately start the engine. Shien was silent for a moment to neutralize his hunting breath as it was pursued with fear. After he calmed down, Shien pulled out his phone from his bag and contacted Sky. But repeatedly he contacted her, Heaven did not answer.

Shien understood, surely the man was angry at him. And so, he kept on contacting her. Up to the tenth post, his call was answered, but it was not the sky that spoke, but the voice of a woman.

“Who are you? Where is the Sky?” Shien asked coldly, his heartbeat racing fast, his mind starting to wildly guess.

“I'm his co-worker Doctor Sky. He's drunk now. . .”

“Where?” Shien again asked in an ice-cold tone, one hand clutching the steering wheel, his face looking angry. How dare the sky get drunk. Just watch out, Shien will definitely hit him later.

“S Bar–”

“Share loc.” Sela Shien, then turned off her phone.

“Oh My God.” Shien covered both ears when he heard the extremely deafening thump of music as soon as he walked into the nightclub.

He glanced at the group of girls who might be his age, they were shaking their bodies with clothes lacking material.

His eyes squinted, peering there and here looking for the existence of the Sky. Just watch. He would beat him up for daring to come to a place like this. Especially with a woman.

It took him ten minutes and he just found the sky. The man had already drooped limp, tepid, stoned, ahh Shien did not know what he called for a person who fainted after being drunk. That guy really.

And what infuriated Shien was the existence of a scantily dressed girl sitting before the already-worn Sky.

“Ceet, let's go home.” Shien shook Sky's body as soon as he approached her, without greeting or mince-talking at the girl sitting at one table with Heaven.

“Sorry, who are you?” Ask the girl while probing Shien from top to bottom. Feeling like I've met Shien before.

“Yang was phone.” Shien said briefly, his face scowling in annoyance.

The girl nodded, then thrust her hand towards Shien. “I Mia, her co-worker Doctor Lang–”

“Sorry, I have to take him home now.” Sambar Shien was in no mood to get acquainted, making Mia again pull her hand out awkwardly.

“But the Sky Doctor is drunk.” From her expression, Mia was like she was unwilling that Shien would bring the Sky.

“It doesn't mean I can't take him home, right?” Sahut Shien cynical. I don't know, he didn't like the way the girl looked up at the sky.

“But. . .” Mia seemed to move uneasily in her sitting. “Let me take him home. She was the same as me.”

Shien snorted, looking at Mia with an unfriendly look. “You guys came here?”

The girl shook her head. “We happened to meet and drink together.”

At least Shien breathed a sigh of relief at the girl's reply. If the Sky really came together, Shien made sure to throw the man into the lake after coming out of it.

“Then that's no reason for you to take him home.” Said Shien as if. “I'm his fiancee anyway. I'm the one who's more entitled to take him home.” Added. Don't forget, Shien said the words were full of emphasis. Shien also showed the couple ring that Sky gave him. Luckily the man was still wearing it. And it made Shien slightly believe that Sky was not playing around behind him as long as he was not around. But in his heart he sneered at himself. Cih, where's the fiancee from? From Hongkong?

Mia blinked, then stared at the ring embedded in Sky's ring finger and Shien took turns. “O-oh, is that it?” The girl smiled stiffly. Shien could read from the look on Mia's face that looked shocked. It was obvious that the girl was showing her interest in the Sky. “A-I didn't know that Doctor Sky already has a fiancee.”

“Even in a moment we plan to get married.” Imbuh Shien, made Mia's face stiffen even more.

The vow. Shien had never thought of making people bete in this way. But he has to protect his. And lucky because the sky is unconscious at this time, if until the man hears it, he can be big head.

“You guys are that serious?” Mia's like having a heart attack.

“Invitation follows.” Reply Shien while smiling a contrived smile.

Then without lingering any longer, he called for a waiter to help him bring Sky into the car, leaving Mia who was speechless stiff with a dumbstruck face.

Shien slammed Sky's body onto the bed after he managed to wipe it with great difficulty. Lucky Sky did not change the passcode of his apartment, so he did not have to bother waking him to ask.

Shien sat at the end of the bed looking at the sleeping face The occasional raving Sky muttered his name with an annoyed look.

His nose looks blooming along with his hunting breath. Clearly, smearing the Sky body that was almost twice as large as him left Shien's energy quite drained.

Just as Shien wanted to move to fetch some drinking water in the kitchen from feeling his throat so dry, the Sky suddenly restrained his arm.

Shien turned his head back, looking at the Sky that was slowly opening its eyes, blinked a little, then smiled towards him.

“Shien?” Sky Eyes squinted, then blinked again, squeaking again, making sure that his vision was not wrong.

“Iya. It's me, why?” Shien ketus. He was still upset that the Sky was not waiting for him and instead went to the nightclub. Though, Shien, right, was only an hour late.

The sky chuckled a little, then smiled mesmerizingly. “Shien is my girlfriend, right?” The mess, made Shien snort. “I believe you're coming home. Hehe”

Shien thunts. “Trust what?”

“I miss you. Here hug.” And quickly Heaven pulled his arm until Shien's body fell right on top of the man's stocky body, then quickly the Sky turned over their bodies until now Shien was under his confinement.

“Do not go again.” The gaze of the Sky turned mellow, making Shien's heart grimace. Feeling guilty for leaving this man for a year and not thinking about his feelings. Then rubbed gently the side of the face of Heaven while looking back fixedly at him.

“Gak will! I'm not going anywhere anymore.” Shien blurted out, then his head lifted slightly and kissed the lips of Heaven. Not moving, but Shien held it for a long time, as if releasing his longing for Heaven through that kiss.

Shien let go of his kiss, without letting go of his fist from either side of Sky's face. They looked at each other in silence for a moment.

The sky touched Shien's right cheek, rubbing it gently. “I'll make you can't leave me again.”

And it didn't take long after the sentence was said, Heaven brought his face closer and kissed Shien's lips. Such a soft, but passionate kiss.

The lulled Shien finally closed both eyes and wrapped his hands around Sky's neck, replying to the kiss intensely.

As if losing consciousness, Shien aggressively squeezed out Sky's hair, pressing his head for the man to deepen his kiss. So even when the kiss Sky moved down to the neck to the collarbone.

Shien bellowed with a dashed breath as soon as Sky's hand infiltrated into the dress he was wearing. It's insanity. Shien had always lost his sanity while with the Sky. The nervous system in his brain could not work properly.

His body collapsed instantly and accepted whatever the heavens were doing.
