EP. 17. Digging Information

Shien returned to the room after delivering the departure of his Sky and Papa. It was a long and exhausting day for his heart and mind.

The girl walked over to the bathroom to wash her face and change her clothes. But his steps stopped when his eyes caught a post it stuck to the mirror. Not only that, a foreign-looking watch in his eyes lay on the surface of the washbasin table. But even though it looked unfamiliar, Shien did not have to wonder who it belonged to.

“I'll wait for tomorrow afternoon at your office coffee shop to return my watch. 😉”

Shien squeezed the post he had just read out furiously, then tossed the post into the trash. He clucked in disbelief, as if Sky had intentionally left his watch in Shien's bathroom to make an excuse for them to meet.

The rest of their lunch and hanging out was filled with crisp jokes until their laughter sometimes echoed in the corner of the cafe. Every now and then Sky slipped a question regarding Shien in between his jokes with Shanna.

It turned out that it wasn't bad that he also met Shanna today. Instead he instead benefited from having managed to obtain some information regarding Shien. The girl who was and was near him.

Monday morning came, Shien had already arrived at his office. He deliberately came early in the morning to avoid the sky that would pick him up. Fina swallowed her hard-earned food as she looked at Shien's vexed gaze. “Yes, if there is nothing. I was just kidding.” Fina brandished her two fingers forming the V sign while smiling stiffly. “Tuh number don't need to be deleted too, times. Who knows someday need.” The implanted then, but Shien just paused and continued his delayed breakfast.

“Then Sky is not your sister's boyfriend, Shi?” Shien rolled his eyes lazily. Why is Fina still talking about the Sky, anyway? The person he so desperately wants to avoid.

Fina had already considered Shien like her own sister whom she had to protect and straighten out if the girl was to stray. So, when he saw Sky appearing to be blatantly showing his affection for Shien, while the man looked close to Shanna's atmosphere, Fina was a little worried. But when he heard that Sky was not Shanna's lover, he was relieved to hear it.

Actually Fina wondered why Shien was so sensitive when talking about Heaven, but she was reluctant to ask or the girl would freeze it. Shien's cold annoyed gaze was truly the thing Fina had feared the most for the five years of knowing her.

A few seconds later, Shien's phone ring distracted the two girls enjoying their breakfast a little more.

“Who early in the morning gini nelepon?” Mumbled Fina who instantly grabbed the phone handle representing Shien.

Shien silently watched Fina who was talking to the person across the phone there. Fina momentarily distanced the handle of the phone, and then she spoke softly to Shien. “He said, there is a Sky waiting for you below.” And it turns out that the one who called into Shien's room was the front office staff who said that there was someone named Sky asking Shien.

“Say I don't exist.” Shien said firmly, and without saying much Fina obeyed what Shien said.
