EP. 18. Thumping Continues

“Why don't you want to meet him, Shi?” Fina asked as soon as she hung up.

“Nothing matters too.” Shien replied, not caring.

Fina exhaled her rough breath. Yes, he should have known Shien's cold nature and not care about people who don't think it matters much. It was stupid that he asked. Talking to Shien was a waste of energy.

Shortly after, the sound of knocking on the door distracted the two of them to turn their heads in that direction. Fina half-screamed allowing whoever it was to enter Shien's room.

It looks like an Office Boy came in with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. Surprised, instead of the usual tea and cookies brought every morning to Shien's room. But the OB was carrying flowers.

“Excuse me, Sister Shien. Last time Front Office staff asked me to deliver these flowers.” Said the OB while handing the bouquet of white Aster flowers to Shien.

Both Shien and Fina, the two girls both furrowed their eyebrows together, wondering as to who gave Shien flowers this early. The reason is, today is not the day of Shien's book launch, nor is it the day that Shien gets an award, or birthday, so it must get a bouquet of flowers like that. And another one, Shien also has no girlfriend who would give him a bouquet of flowers.

“From who, Sir?” Shien asked finally.

“Wahh, I don't know, Ma'am. But it's got a card.” The OB pointed at the greeting card on the bouquet of flowers using his thumb politely.

Shien took a quick glance at the greeting card, then nodded in understanding. The OB then said goodbye to get out of Shien's room.

Shien stared fixedly at the bouquet of white Aster flowers that looked so beautiful. There was a caramel candy that Shien liked tucked in the middle of the flowers. The girl's hand then stretched out and opened the greeting card that was also tucked there.

“From who, Shi?” Fina moved away from her seat, then moved closer to Shien to read the name of the sender in the greeting card.

Fina's laughter immediately came off as she read the writing on the greeting card. Didn't the sender of this flower miswrite such a dreadful sentence for a stiff Shien? I don't know, according to Fina this is between romantic and laughable.

“You are prettier than this Aster flower and sweeter than caramel candy. Good morning, Shien.”

And they do not have to wonder anymore about who the sender of the flower is even though his name is not listed on the greeting card.

“A funny boy, Fin.” Shien glared back as Fina unceasingly laughed.

“Haha. Okay, sorry.” Fina stopped her laughter while rubbing the corner of her watery eyes.

“It looks like the sky is seriously chasing you, Shi.” Fina said then shortly after she returned to her original seat. While Shien threw the flowers just like that onto the table.

“You know what Aster flower means? If there are guys who give Aster flowers at the beginning of the relationship, it means they want to know you further.” Fina is like a florist. Both corners of his lips were then interested in forming a meaningful smile.

“Not to overdo it, it's just a flower.” Cebik Shien who saw Fina was very excited. The one who was given the flowers was himself.

“So don't like it, nih?” Fina asked with a sneering smile. Shien simply flicked his shoulders no matter what. But his gaze could not be separated staring at the Aster flower that was indeed unsightly.

Shien could not refuse if he wanted to display the flower in a vase, but remembering who the giver was made the girl undo her wishes.

“Then that makes me aja.” Fina pulled the bouquet towards her because Shien never said so. He then took the caramel candy that looks tantalizing for him to open and eat. However, just as he opened the candy wrapping paper, Shien quickly snatched it back along with the flowers.

“This is mine.” And the next second Shien regretted already saying that. Ahh, his mouth is fucking shit. It was a spontaneous reaction. Now, how did he deal with Fina who was currently smiling mocked him?

“OK I get it.” Say Fina with full blinking eyes. The girl inching up from her seat, before she walked out of Shien's room.

“Fina. . .” Shien yelled angrily as he threw a ballpoint towards Fina, but it did not hit him because Fina was lost behind the door first.

“Aiish, damn.” Shien felt a heat rush through his face. Ohh, maybe the two cheekbones are already flushed. Why didn't he just let Fina take the flowers, anyway? Shien's body had truly betrayed his common sense.

Meanwhile across the street, Sky walked out of Snow Candy's office with shaky steps after a while ago Shien refused to meet her.

Yes, Sky knows for sure Shien is lying on the grounds that he has not arrived at the office. Obviously, Shanna said that Shien had been out of the house since early in the morning and that was according to ART who saw him.

As a result, he even drove Shanna to his tutoring place. In fact, yesterday the girl said not to have to pick her up again as long as they could be friends. But it seems he was tricked again. Ahh, Shanna is sneaky.

Before driving forward, Sky took the time to send a single message to Shien. Although he knew Shien would not reply, the girl always read it, and he was quite happy about it.

“You like the flowers?”

“If so, return here. I'm still in front of your office.”

The man smiled amusedly. He imagined the face of Shien who must have been snorting annoyed when reading the message.

“Requesting back items that have been loved, that's his name shameless.”

The sky chuckled softly as it read the reply message from Shien. How adorable. And this is really a surprise. Shien had never at all replied to his message during this one-time item.

“Okay, then I give you my heart. I'm not going to ask for it back and you can't go back.”

No reply after that. The sky then drove forward his car and slowly exited Shien's office courtyard with a fluffy smile adorning his face. How not? He saw Shien standing on the balcony watching his car before he left. Not that he was too confident. Only, Heaven wanted to think that way.

Actually Sky felt less satisfied with his morning conversation with Shien which was very short. However, he had to remain grateful that at least Shien had not completely avoided it. That's better than nothing.

“Hiish, what did I do?” Shien crouched down while leaning against that glass-made balcony railing. He is destroying himself now. What was that? His hand just moved typing a reply message for Sky and his foot reflexively moved to the balcony as the man said that he was still in front of his office. Why can't his body be controlled? Obviously he was eager to avoid the Sky, but instead wanted to see it.

And the heart. . . .

Shien's heart pounded continuously as the name Sky appeared in his head.

No. gabe. This is not true. The heart is like this because it has been problematic since the beginning. So it's definitely not pounding for the Sky. Yeah, that's the truth.

“You're crazy, Shien.” Even his entire life Shien had never cursed himself like this. The girl then hit her head slowly, trying to pull over and curse all the strange feelings that should not be felt against the sky.

Shien stood up abruptly from his squat, then walked quickly back to his room. It seems to busy himself with work is the best distraction he has to do at this time, to muffle any inappropriate feelings.

And the first step is to throw away everything related to the sky, for example this bouquet of flowers.

“Please time, yes?” Shien murmured, yet sounded doubtful.

Shien almost threw the bouquet into the trash, but he paused because the flowers were too pretty. Shien likes flowers. He couldn't just throw away that innocent flower. Ahh, failing to have already eliminated the traces of Heaven in his life. Shien was only able to resign and continue his work that had just begun, but had already delayed it.

No need to throw flowers. Shien only needed to avoid the Sky at his best. Yeah, like that. Shien would.

“Why lo? Cengar-cengar kayak horse for sale.” The sky that was rereading the message from Shien instantly stopped its activities as the elevator door opened. Seen Blue greeted him with a sneer accompanied by a facial expression that according to the Sky is very annoying.

“Yee, shucks. Crushed my morning, lo.” Sahut Langit a moment after Blue entered and stood right beside him. The elevator then starts walking back to take them to their respective destination floor.

Blue is a mood breaker or mood shredder that is always the cause of a loss of mood or spirit. Just wonder why Orange wants to marry and feel at home with this annoying man who is standing next to him.

“Tumben coming to cocksucker? Usually you come to defeat Mr. Satpam whose job is the morning shift.” Tanya Blue accompanied by a sneer. The sky could only snort and sigh deeply, in order to find patience there. Talking to Blue can make his head boil, so it needs to be peppered with patience so that there is no fighting. But it seemed Blue did not want to return his words. The man let out a long breath, then began to tell a story.

“Campret. Lo mouth, tuh, mostly eat rotten chili. Nothing good in denger.” The sky again grumbled.

Then, a mocking cry came back out from Blue's mouth. “Dihh, a very single sensi. Miss pregnant mothers who are again in the mood swing.”

“Nih prospective old father ngeselin very. Hopefully your son looks like me later, so don't spend it like his father.” The sky relaxed while pretending to stroke the chest.

Blue was just about to put out a sentence of his grunts at the Sky, but was reduced when the elevator door opened, and it stopped right on the destination floor of the Sky.

“Happy work, old man.” The sky waved his hand with a smile that was flashing with a moment after he came out of the elevator, then moved from the face of Blue.

“Ehh, goat. We're not done yet. Back here.” Sahut Blue yelled annoyed, but the Sky did not heed him at all.

Shien wriggled under his blanket, stretched out his hand, then fumbled around his bed in search of a phone that rang loudly as the alarm went off.

The girl then deactivated her alarm, until silence returned to greet her dimly lit room.

Shien turned on the smart lamp using the remote still with a lying position, until now the dimly lit room became bright.

Staring blankly at the window of his room which was still dark as it was still dawn. Then lazily, Shien began to get out of bed and rushed to take a bath. He had to leave earlier today to avoid the Sky again and he had also asked Fina to pick him up earlier than yesterday. It was up to her ears to be hot because of the dumelan that Fina would throw at her later, it was better than having to meet Heaven.

Counting three days, Shien had managed to dodge the Sky. The girl ignored all the calls and messages from the man, leaving early to avoid the Sky that would pick her up. When did his parents get the driver? So annoying. Shien also could not let Sky come constantly to his office and gave him flowers and sweets. He had run out of excuses to throw it away, but could not refuse the flowers. The flowers that the sky gave off were simply too beautiful. Shien likes. Ahh, it's really fucked up. He desperately avoided the sky, but instead enjoyed his gift. What the fuck? Today he had to tell the front office staff firmly not to accept any items from the person named Sky.

Shien descended from his room by walking around like a thief. Last night he had gotten a scolding from everyone for ignoring Sky's invitation. Therefore, he should be careful as much as possible so as not to be caught by the people of the house. After all, he never asked Sky to pick him up? Very inconvenient. Yes, Shien felt the hassles of having to dodge like this. Ahh, fuck.

“Where are you?”

Shien almost fell backwards as the sound of Shanna walking towards him from the kitchen shocked him. Not only that, Shanna's face covered in a white mask made Shien even more surprised. Shien turned his heels back, then turned to Shanna with a timid face.

“Ohh, ghost.” His speech was spontaneous, making Shanna snort. Where is a ghost as beautiful as her?

“Ngapain is doing that? Kayak malinga aja, tahu.” Tegur Shanna then with heart so that the mask does not break. His eyes squinted, looking at Shien suspiciously.

“Let's in the morning again? Oh my goodness, Shi. Poor Sky from yesterday will pick you up, but you are not there.” And Shanna was already indifferent to the condition of her mask which had now been broken until her face was really like a ghost.

Shien nibbled on his lower lip while looking for an excuse to answer the nagging older brother.

“I have to leave early. There's a lot of work in the office. You know, right, I'm not just a writer?” Shien quipped by reminding that he also has an important position in the company as Deputy Director.

Shanna poked her lips. He clearly knew that Shien was lying because it was not usual for the girl to speak while smiling stiffly and scratching the back of her head like that.

“Learn to associate with new people, Shi.” Shanna did not heed Shien's words. “You deliberately, right, avoided the Sky because you do not want to hang out and make friends with him?”

“Who is evading? I just don't want to steal people. Yes, brother if you meet with him please tell me not to pick me up again.” Sahut Shien and immediately passed away from the face of Shanna who seemed to still want to talk.

“Lagian Langit will not bite as well.” Shanna grumbled at the attitude of the younger brother who was very reluctant to go with the Sky. Though, the man had already very well intended to escort and even pick up Shien.

Shien breathed a sigh of relief as he made it out of his house. The girl then walked quickly to the front gate of the house to approach Fina who used to wait for her there.

Opening the gate with great difficulty, Shien let out a long breath as he managed to open and close it back. However, as he turned around, the girl immediately shook her head in shock upon finding the male figure he was so eager to avoid was standing leaning on the side while cross-sectioned.

“You can’t get away this time.” The smiling sky grinned at Shien who was still pecking at his forging.

“Tomorrow to leave at what time? Four o'clock? Three hours?” The Sky then. Shien bit his lower lip in annoyance, then racked his brain to think of an escape plan from the man before him at the moment.
