As a result of the incident, Shien suffered psychological trauma until he was unable to speak (aphasia), the little girl continued to struggle with her sadness and continued to blame herself. Sometimes he faints when bad memories of Shawn's death and all his parents say appear. However, Shien's state like this did not make his parents notice him. Let alone providing support, seeing that Shien's state in the hospital alone was not. They were still busy crying over the departure of their only son who had left, as if forgetting that Shien was also their daughter who still needed attention.

Seeing Shien's deteriorating state and in the absence of parental attention, the grandmother, Shien's concerned mother, finally decides to take Shien to live with him in America. At least, while getting to the state at home Shien's parents were calmer.

Grandma thought that back then the state of her son and daughter-in-law was still shaken from the loss of her first child, thus ignoring Shien like that. They were even silent as grandma said she would take Shien with her.

In the end, Shien was cared for by his grandmother and Aunt Hilda in America. The first six months were the hardest for Shien, during which time he had to undergo several therapies to recover from his psychological trauma, so that he could stop blaming himself and return to speech, and able to do activities as usual.

At first, Shien always asked about the whereabouts of his parents, why never call him, why he was not picked up and instead left with his grandmother and Tantenya, why should he live in America while his parents and brother in Indonesia. Questions like that filled his mind every day. Although Mama and Papa have hurt her heart through their words, Shien still misses her. He thought positively, trying to deny that what his parents said was only because they were sad. They didn't mean it, like what the nanny's aunt told her.

“Mama same Papa will pick up Shien in a moment. Shien same Aunt first, yes.” The tranquilizing sentence that Aunt Hilda always said to her when Shien asked about her parents.

In a moment, those two words were able to make Shien optimistically wait for his parents, hoping that they would pick him up in a moment. A few months later, his parents never came.

Until finally, Shien realized that what Aunt Hilda said was a lie. His parents would never or even intend to pick him up. This was reinforced when he met at the funeral of his grandmother who shortly died after that. “Kak . . ahh . .” Shien, who was about to ask Shanna not to leave him, was reduced when Heaven stood up and his body lifted up. Reflex he tightened his hands hugging the neck of the Sky so as not to fall.

“Ehh, sorry.” The sky then proceeded with caution while blowing off Shien's injured knee.

Unknowingly, Shien continued to pay attention to Sky who was now busy dressing his wound using the sterile gauze that Hana had prepared. The girl looked at him without blinking as if the Heavens were the most attractive object in her eyes at the moment.

“Completed.” The sky as he stood up.

“Eh . . .” Shien was a little surprised. I think it's too soon.
