EP. 86. Thanks For Coming Back

Terry walks into the ICU room where Shien is lying down. He walked slowly closer to Shien's patient bed, then stood beside Shien and stared at him for quite a while.

“This is your fault because you are too lucky.” Terry muttered softly. “All this is your fault for successfully getting the heart of Sky.” Her impression with a gaze full of envy and vengeance.

Terry then lowered his head and whispered something in Shien's ear. “I just want to help make it easier for you not to be in pain again.” Then withdraw by re-stretching his body.

He closed his eyes while taking a long breath. Terry hardened his heart, before then his hands trembled outstretched to pull the ventilator hose from Shien's mouth as his breathing apparatus. But his movements came to a halt when he saw Shien's hand move.

His eyes instantly widened perfectly. Terry watched Shien's hand move for a moment. The weak fingers moved for a long time.

Terry gulped his hard spit, cold sweat began to drench his temples. In his heart he murmured a prayer that Shien would not wake up. And apparently it's granted. After two minutes passed, Shien's hand stopped moving. Terry also slightly shook Shien's body and called out to him to make sure that Shien was still unconscious, but the girl lying weak did not show any response.

Terry breathed a sigh of relief. Wiping the sweat on the peilipisnya, to then re-run the action that was delayed.

“Goodbye, Shien.” Brushed Terry with a slanted smile.

“What are you doing, Terry?”

Terry was surprised instead of playing as soon as he heard the sound of someone shouting behind him and reflexively turned around without releasing his hand from Shien's ventilator hose.

Shanna who saw Terry about to harm her sister immediately approached and pulled Terry, then threw her body on the floor.

“Lo is crazy!” Terry looked at Shanna's wrathful face with a furious look. While being stared at does not show the slightest guilt or fear even though it is clearly caught.

“Cute me.” Shanna immediately pulled the rough arm of Terry before she could stand up.

Shanna drags Terry's body into the nursery that Mama rented after she had previously asked the Doctor to examine Shien for fear of something happening. He doubted that Terry had not done anything to his sister.

“How can you lo this spare Terry?” Shanna shouted as soon as they reached the ward. The girl again threw Terry's body to the floor, making Mama who was reading Shien's storybook scream surprised to see him.

“Sha, what is it?” Mama asked frantically as she walked over and tried to help Terry get up. But losing quickly with Shanna who first crouched down and grabbed the collar of clothes worn by Terry, making Mama again surprised with a questionable expression.

“What is this lo human? How can you handle something so far? What did Shien do with Elo? What's the fault he's the same elo until you can admit this same him?” Shanna screamed while shaking Terry's body.

While Terry was speechless with a trembling body looking at Shanna's wrath. Terry himself could not avoid or reply to Shanna's attack that occurred quickly because of the nervousness and fear that made the entire joint feel relaxed.

“Sha, what's up, anyway? You don't be rude gini, dong. Not good girls fight like gini.” Mama moved and pulled the body of her eldest son as hard as she could to separate him from Terry. From the look on Shanna's face full of anger, Mama was afraid that her son would beat Terry. It's not impossible because Mama knows Shanna is capable of doing just that. Since Junior High, Mama has even been a subscription in and out of the BK room because she got a report that Shanna hit her friend.

“Sha, relax! Inget, this is hospital.” Mama reminded while struggling to hold Shanna's body higher than him because he continued to wriggle and try to escape from Mama who held her body. Apparently, the girl had not been able to be made calm.

Rebelliously releasing Mama's hand that coiled around her stomach. Shanna then turned around, then looked at Mama with a fierce face, but her eyes were glazed. “Ma, Terry nasty. Last day. . . .” He said as he pointed at Terry who was sitting limp on the floor with his head lowered. “Almost want to release his breathing apparatus Shien, Ma.”

Mama reflexes her mouth with her body staggered back, feeling quite surprised, and between believing in disbelief hearing Shanna's words.

A moment later, Mama squatted in front of Terry. “Terry replied Tente. What did Shanna say was true?” He tried to keep himself calm. However, Terry was still his nephew despite not having the slightest blood relation. For this one, Mama hopes that what her son says is wrong. How could Terry be that hard? Because what Mama knows, Shien is not a child who will tease others.

However, the super beautiful girl like an international model is just silent, to make Mama disappointed.

“What's wrong with Shien? Has he done anything bad to you?” Mama said with a voice choked in her throat while continuing to shake softly Terry's shoulder that was still down, not daring to lift her head to look at the Aunt openly. But Shanna, with her excessive fear and worry, wanted to take care of her sister, even though she had to wait outside and was hit by the incredible cold.

In the afternoon, Mama and Papa meet Shien in the ICU room. Their faces looked sad and also looked older than before. Maybe because they are too tired.

They got some bad news a few hours ago. Nathan says Shien's bodily functions are decreasing day by day, and they should be prepared for the worst possible outcome.

It was clear that the news struck Mama and Papa.

Mama cried silently beside Shien's bed, while the same stricken Papa remained calm and tried to calm Mama down.

“Shien . . .” Mama said softly with a choked voice while reaching for Shien's hand to hold it.

“Mama knows, all this time Mama has ignored you and not taken care of you well.” Mama paused for a moment to hold back her sobbing. “So please give Mama one more chance to be a good Mama for you. Awake, Son. Don't punish Mama like this, dear.” Mama placed that cold-tasting Shien hand on her watery cheek.

“But again Mama has to miss her birthday without you.” Mama continues to sob poignant. Mama remembered the gift from Shien left in her room. It's like a hunch that Shien won't be present on Mama's birthday. The girl gave a gift of an ankle bracelet with a birthday greeting card for Mama. “Wake, Son. Mama didn't like the gift you gave her back then.” Mama wiped the tears on her cheeks for a moment, before then continued her sentence. “The only gift Mama wants is your presence.”

Mama sobbed violently after that, not caring for Papa who asked him to stop crying because it would disturb the calm there, they could be reprimanded by the Doctor and asked to come out.

Too desperate because the youngest daughter never woke up. Whether conscious or not, Mama got up from her seat, then rushed to embrace Shien's body and shook her.

“Build Shien. You can't torture Mama kayak gini. . .”

“Ma, what did Mama do? Can't believe it, Ma.” Papa tried to calm down by pulling both of Mama's shoulders away from Shien, but without success. Mama hugged Shien's body tightly.

“Wake up, Nak.” But the weakly lying body remained sculpted, no matter how much effort Mama woke him. “What should Mama do so you want to hear Mama and wake up?” Mama hit Shien's arm softly, her voice full of despair.

“What. . .” Mama's words hung in the middle of her stuffing. He then moved and looked at Shien's body. “Do you have to rest and kiss your feet first, then you want to wake up?”

“Ma. . .” Tegur Papa snapped a little. But Mama came back ignoring him. All he wanted right now was Shien's consciousness. Mama wants her little girl back to her soon.

“Better Mama join Papa out now.” Feeling the wife was out of control, the middle-aged man then grabbed Mama's body to bring her out, but with all his might Mama revolted, screaming for release, yelling for release, and kept saying that he would kiss Shien's feet right now for him to wake up.

It was clearly causing a commotion, thus making some of the Guard Doctors and Nurses approach them to calm down.

Yet without everyone noticing, Shien who was lying weakly there slowly opened his eyes. Very glare and a little blurred. Shien felt his chest ache while breathing.

After successfully adjusting the light that entered her eyes, the first thing Shien caught was Mama who was crying hysterically, there were many people around her, and a slight noise. But Shien had not been able to make a sound to call them.

Nathan, knowing that there was a commotion from another doctor, approached. But it was not Aunt Risa and Om Sendy that he was focusing on, because as soon as he turned his head towards Shien, the girl opened her eyes and occasionally gnawed innocently.

“Shien.” Nathan exclaimed in shock and hurriedly approached Shien to make sure that the girl was really dead.

Everyone who was pacifying Mama stopped as soon as they heard Nathan's call, then turned to Shien. Everyone is surprised.

“Shi-Shien.” Mama said stammered, then moved closer to Shien after successfully escaping Papa's hand checks that instantly loosened.

“Shien, you wake up, baby?” Mom asked with tears filling her face. Shien who had not been able to open his voice only blinked his eyes in response.

“Shien, can you hear Papa?” Papa is making a sound. And once again, Shien blinked his eyes.

Saw that. Papa smiled followed by tears full of haru that slowly pooled in the eyes. In his heart he murmured thousands of thanks to God for returning his daughter.

“Finally you're back at us, Nak.” Said Papa in a trembling voice while clasping Shien's hand. The girl only responded with a weak smile.

Because the Doctor team had to examine Shien, Nathan asked Mama and Papa to get out of the ICU first. They followed him and rushed out.

Outside the ICU room, Papa with a happy feeling that erupted in his heart immediately contacted Shanna who was still in the tutoring room, as well as her sister, Hilda, about Shien who had regained consciousness.

Nathan examined Shien to make sure that he woke up in a normal state, and that there was no disability, nor any other complications of the disease would be examined further after the initial examination.

Nathan begins with the opening and movement of the eyes, the verbal response to commands, and the movement's response to commands.

The Doctor team smiled in relief as Shien got a good grade. The girl was also already able to speak, although it was still a bit of a difficulty. It's just that Shien's muscles and joints are still stiff. But it's not a big deal because it can be treated with physiotherapy.

Nathan smiled amusedly, and then said. “Still judges. I'm sure there's no problem with your brain during the examination later.” Shien only chuckled softly hearing it.

“Still able to laugh after making everyone worry?” Grunts Nathan sebal. “Where have you been for ninety days?”

“Why are you mad at Om's son, Nate?” Papa who just entered with Mama immediately patted Nathan's shoulder arm slowly. The man only grinned wide while scratching the back of his head that did not itch, then shifted his position to give them a place.

“Shi. . .” Call Mama while rubbing Shien's head full of affection, his tears glistening again, but this time the tears full of haru that radiate happiness terribly there. “Yes, Shi. Mom loves you very much.” Then he landed a kiss on his forehead.

“You've been in a coma for more than ninety days.” Said Papa while holding back a cry. “Papa thought, you won't. . .” He could not continue, suddenly his throat was blocked. “Thanks for coming back, our little girl.” His words were full of haru, then his hands stretched out to rub Shien's forehead affectionately.

Shien only smiled weakly staring at his two parents in turn.

“Call us, Nak.” Pinta Papa smiled expectantly.

Slowly Shien opened his mouth. “Papa. . , Mama.”
