Astral Pet Store – Chapter 101

As planned, the second group of customers was ready when he returned with the third group of pets. After sensing the four people—three men and a woman standing outside, Su Ping opened the door and told them to enter.

He hopes customers question the reliability of his training, which did happen. He wouldn't waste his breath explaining it. Letting them see their own pets is enough.

After being released from Su Ping temporary contract, the pet ran into the arms of its owner like a freed rabbit. Even someone who was not so friendly before nudged his master as if his life depended on him.

One of the customers, a young man wearing wealth from head to toe, looked at Su Ping angrily. “What are you really doing to my pet? You have some explanation to do, sir. ”

This man was at ninth place in the academy's power rankings list. Seeing him questioning Su Ping, the other three followed by looking at him. Without speaking, Su Ping remotely ordered the young man's pet to use his newly learned skill—Worldly Prison.

This pet is a supportive plant-type Phantom Sika with seventh rank potential, and is usually good at using illusions and healing. While still enjoying the reunion with his master, Su Ping's wish invaded his mind and revived his worst nightmare, causing him to immediately release the World Prison. He did not know why he was listening to a stranger's orders, and he did not care.

The floor and walls of the shop started to shake, before a large number of thick vines came out from the random place and filled the room like spider webs, trapping everyone in the narrow space.

Customers watched the stunning and dangerous display in great surprise. Vines can easily squeeze it to death if it grows further.

Lu Pengfei, as the deer master, knew better than anyone about his pet abilities. Earth Prison is a very useful and large-scale crowd control skill, while the deer is mainly a pet “healer”. There was no way he could use the Worldly Prison unless…

“Master Su? Did you teach my pet those skills? ”

“Why the contrary?”

Lu Pengfei trembled in excitement after hearing that answer. Within a day, his pet deer had mastered an intermediate level skill used to trap enemies effectively.

This guy is the ultimate coach, if not the best I've ever heard!

They all realized that the rumors about this store were true. As long as they paid, their pet could become as strong as the Lightning Rat Su Yanying.

The woman with pointed jaw asked next, “I can see her deer has grown. But what about our pets?”

Su Ping ordered the two of the three remaining pets to show off their new skills, who immediately obeyed him.

Those skills are all common mid-level skills, although the results are more than good as pets go through just one training session. Su Ping looked at the last customer whose pet had not done anything yet. “Es Your gecko learned the skill ‘Tidal Wave’, so I can't show it in the store. Try it somewhere else and come back if you have any questions.”

Ice Gecko was a lower third rank. Tidal Wave did not help him reach the same level as Su Yanying's Lightning Rat, but it was quite an improvement.

No one doubted Su Ping words. There's no reason for that.

“Can you continue to train my pet, Mister?” lu Pengfei asked, while looking at Su Ping longingly.

“Only once a day. You can come again tomorrow.”

“Certainly sure!” Lu Pengfei scratched his head as he recalled his oppressive attitude towards Su Ping a moment before. “Please forgive my previous attitude. I really shouldn't have done that.”

“Hmph.”

Lu Pengfei looked stressed because he thought Su Ping had not forgiven him yet.

Fu*k. I should have stayed quiet there and let the others ask questions! Me and my big ego!

Actually, Su Ping did not mind Lu Pengfei's rudeness at all. It's just, saying “hmph” with his nose is faster and easier than saying “it's okay.” “Heh heh... Sir, please accept these 50,000 coins. Let's just say it's my apology, ” Lu Pengfei said while handing over more money to Su Ping. It was the only solution he could think of.

Su Ping took the money without much thought. Extra money is always welcome.

The other three people imitated Lu Pengfei's move because they didn't want to miss out and lost the opportunity to hire Su Ping's services again.

“Master Su, consider this as a thank you sign ..”

“I am too!” “And this!”

An additional 30,000 are saved.

Su Ping on the other hand, wished the customer used the money to purchase his services, as being paid in this way did not help him earn more energy points.

The finances of these students seem to be tight. He didn't want to see them go bankrupt too soon.

“This one time only. If you want to spend more money, do it for your pet.” “Of course, Mister!” The customers had just realized that what they paid Su Ping in addition meant nothing to an expert coach who could easily make millions of dollars from big clients. Su Ping had already helped them by offering them a cheap service.

“Master Su, can I buy special training for my pet?” ask Lu Pengfei. “As you gave the Lightning Rat. How much is it, a million?”

Su Ping secretly asked the system if he could accept the order. He could offer the Celestial Pig special training due to the new mission issued by the system.

Su Ping was not too disappointed with his reply. Without “ticket free” to the plane of high-level cultivation and free death, it is already difficult to raise the level of the Heavenly Pig to match the Lightning Rat. He may not be able to handle other special training orders.

“Not now,” reject it.

“Oh... Can you do it later?” “That's yes.”

Lu Pengfei almost jumped in excitement. He happens to take some time to collect a million and decide which pet he will focus on.

Four people walked out of Su Ping shop while saying their gratitude nonstop.

Su Ping called the next group of customers and decided to sit down and wait for them this time. He had spent 72 hours inside the cultivation plane. Even talking was a hard thing to do back then.

Again, he had to stop customers who urged him with questions by ordering their pets to show their expertise. Moments later, the frightened pet nudged its master excitedly, hoping they would never be sent to that terrible place again.

Su Ping saw two more customers entering the store. He fell down on his desk and felt too lazy to move, though he was still sitting when he recognized who was coming.

It was Vice School Head, Dong Mingsong, and Luo Guxue. The two men seemed to have come together.

Luo Guxue was there to help his business, after he saved his life the other day. As for the Vice Principal, the old man might have some kind of business to discuss.

“This is your shop, yes?” Luo Guxue looked around; he did not expect such a small place. He believed Su Ping was more than capable of renting a larger venue. Maybe he never intended to be serious about his job? he thinks. He wondered if the ferocious Lightning Rat and the Little Skeleton both emerged from this shop. But come to think of it, the place would be full of customers waiting if that was the case. However, it looked almost abandoned.

Dong Mingsong thought the same way but without showing it. He only inspected the shelf for a moment before speaking to Su Ping with a friendly smile. “Comfortable small place you have, Mr Su! It has everything you need for a master trainer, without being too flashy. I mean, look at this chair and how it was placed along the wall. Like...excellent taste.”

Su Ping felt too embarrassed to listen to such nonsense, so he quickly stopped Dong Mingsong from continuing. “Is there anything you need?”

Luo Guxue spoke, “Master Vice Principal invited me to come, saying that we might have the honor to meet a master coach.”

He looked excited when speaking, it was natural, because a “major trainer” is generally more respected than a pet fighter who is given a title in this world.

“Maybe,” says Su Ping.

Su Ping had heard about how the main trainer of the Federation worked. He knows he can reach that level, if not better. There was no point denying his skills.

Both Luo Guxue and Dong Mingsong looked delighted at his words. “Can we ask this master to train our pet?”

As an advanced fighting pet fighter, Luo Guxue knew he had to admire or even fear the main trainer. He will act as carefully as possible.

Behind him, Dong Mingsong showed a surprised expression but quickly hid it.

After their meeting at the academy, Dong Mingsong summoned all available hands to investigate Su Ping and learn everything they could find, down to the last detail. They have figured out which hospital she was born in, which nurse handled her and even the color of her underwear, just to make sure that they don't waste the opportunity.

However, Dong Mingsong knew something was amiss after reading the files he had collected. Unlike his initial assumption, Su Ping was not from a rich and famous clan. In contrast, Su Ping came from an ordinary family and was not born with astral abilities. No one knew when Su Ping astral power was awakened, as he had only shown it to date.

In addition to admiring Su Ping great talent, Dong Mingsong also became a little afraid of what Su Ping could achieve at this kind of speed. A common genius is nothing to be afraid of because they still need proper time and study to fully display their abilities. But Su Ping was different. She hid her potential from everyone during her teenage years.

Only the gods knew how many more amazing things he had.

Since Su Ping was not born rich, Dong Mingsong tended to consider another theory: a fateful encounter. Su Ping might have received the reward of an expert trainer who somehow decided to give everything to him, perhaps due to the pursuit of a powerful enemy and not having a longer time to live. At least that's how TV dramas are usually played.

Su Ping response had just told Dong Mingsong that there was indeed a hidden master somewhere around him. He was eager to meet such a master back then.

“Training your pet is not a problem,” said Su Ping, “However, the store has a full schedule today. I'm afraid you should come tomorrow. ”

“Full schedule?” Luo Guxue quickly realized that a master trainer must have rules. “Alright, that's what I'm going to do.”

Dong Mingsong also stepped up. “Mr Su, my main reason here is because I want you to give lessons in the academy as soon as possible.”

With this, he intended to tell Su Ping that his visit had nothing to do with the affairs of the store.

Su Ping believed him. Although he still had questions about that reminder. “Our deal says one lesson per week, right? Do I have to be fast?”.

Dong Mingsong easily saw that Su Ping was complaining. “I do not intend to oppose the deal, Mr. Su. Only, the Elite Pet Warrior League was about to begin, and the students would get a winter break within half a month. We have some talented students like Su Yanying and Ye Hao, who can try their luck in the league and get good grades. The two weeks left are the last chance we have to help them. In addition to you, four other advanced teachers will present two lessons each week. Of course, we will compensate you for the extra work. ”
