“WHY YOU-!”
He is so shameless!!
Su Lingyue began to discover that her brother had become even more arrogant in her view. Previously, this man knew how to stop after being hit. He started to face it! Just because he's awake?
“You don't know which rank I am in, huh?! I am a mid-level pet warrior, whereas you—”
He channeled more astral power into hitting Su Ping and showed him who was the boss. But he was stopped by Li Qingru, who had just returned while holding a plate of apples.
“What are you doing?”
Su Ping smiled. “It's okay. I was checking how good Lingyue.” hair looks
Check what I am?? Su Lingyue had just managed to swallow her anger in her throat, but she felt how dangerous the anger was back.
Li Qingru quickly realized what was going on because this was quite a frequent occurrence in the family. “Stop. I just told you to be nice to each other a moment ago! ”
“Sorry Bu.” Su Ping lowered his head when he found his mother completely angry.
Li Qingru shook her head and turned to continue cooking.
“Don't you think it's over!” Su Lingyue shouted as she picked up an apple for herself.
“Um-hm.”
“Heh.”
“Ha?”
“Huh!”
They really understand what they're talking about.
Su Ping retreated to his room after dinner, while Su Lingyue did not say anything more. Su Lingyue had planned to ask her brother about what he did in the vice president's office before, but he no longer liked it, as it would make him look bad.
As usual, Su Ping remained in his bed to develop his astral power. The “Chaos Star Chart” method is such a domineering technique that he can easily draw out all the astral forces present in the environment in his way. He might even stop Su Lingyue from cultivating if he wanted to.
It had been less than a week since he had started cultivating, yet his Combat Power had increased by 0.2, reaching 3.7, which made him already ranked in the top third. If he continues, he will be ranked fourth in the next week. Combining his Solar Bulwark, he was currently strong enough to fight most fifth rank monsters. Or a rank six, if he used the augmentation skill on himself.
“I need to bring my Solar Bulwark to the second rank so that the eighth and ninth rank can't kill me easily. Only then can I survive better.”.
As someone who had witnessed a dangerous threat in a barren area, he could not let his guard down even if his life in the city looked peaceful.
One night quickly passed.
The next morning, Su Ping and Su Lingyue had breakfast while competing gazes, before the two of them continued their journey without any verbal errors.
Su Ping saw a slender-bodied woman with a long, coffee-colored coat looking to and fro in front of his shop. Without caring about it, Su Ping locked his bike into the tree using a chain to deter thieves, and went to unlock the shop.
It was then that the seemingly apathetic woman suddenly gave him a surprised look.
Next, the woman followed him to the store.
“Something you need?” su Ping asked, after he had caught a glimpse of the woman. She found her face becoming a little familiar but was unable to remember her name. He wondered if he was the customer who saw the ad.
“You shopkeeper here?” Jiang Hanbing looked at Su Ping from top to bottom and found this man too young to run the shop. Then she remembered meeting him the day before.
Su Ping nodded. “One stop. Do you need your pet cared for, trained, or are you looking for pet food?
“... You were in the academy yesterday, right? Did you train that powerful Lightning Rat? ”
Su Ping was happy because the leaflets he printed were not in vain. “Ya, it's me.”
Jiang Hanbing let out a sigh of relief. She and Su Yanying used to be clear to each other, but as their classmates tended to compare them in various ways, they slowly became rivals. As Jiang Hanbing had observed recently, Su Yanying had talent, but was far from being a good coach. Also, Su Yanying was not someone who knew how to buy time. If he had a powerful rat all this time, he would have used it like that before.
“How long does it take to train a pet? Are you the coach? ” he asked.
“I. I don't have a fixed duration to train a pet; it depends on how many sessions you buy. After all the sessions are over, I'll send word so you can pick up your pet. ”
“Session?” Jiang Hanbing had never heard of such a training methodology before. Although it was not strange for a loner master with extraordinary skills to possess such a strange protocol.
“Four pets. Ten sessions each, ”dia offers.
Su Ping raised an eyebrow. “You have to pay independently for each session, I think. Do you have enough money for you?”
Jiang Hanbing was ready to hear the crazy price of the shop that trained the incredible Lightning Rat. “How much for each session?”
“Ten thousand for low rank pets. One hundred thousand for the middle rank. For advanced level.. sorry, I do not accept it for now.”
Getting the Lightning Rat in form only unlocks such a level of service. If Su Ping wanted to train an advanced pet, he would have to successfully train an intermediate-level pet in the same way.
“It... quite cheap,” said Jiang Hanbing. Such pricing would look like a scam at a regular pet store, but not so much if they talked about who trained that particular rat.
Su Ping's lips twitched. He was always frustrated at not being able to set the price freely.
Fortunately, the Lightning Rat was a special case, as the system demanded it to raise it higher. From then on, he could only bring the customer's pet to the cultivation plane and hang out for a while to get the job done. He might have to die a few times while doing so, but that didn't matter.
“I have three fourth rank pets and one third rank. Can you get them all to a level equivalent to the Lightning Rat?” Jiang Hanbing had already paid because he did not want Su Ping to suddenly change his mind.
“Of course not. Lightning Rats are an exception. I provide training ‘normal’ almost all the time.”
Jiang Hanbing knew that getting four pets like the Lightning Rat at once could only be a dream, but it still felt bad when Su Ping pointed it out.
Also, he wondered if the Lightning Rat was a unique box used to attract customers, while a true coach had left the store. Or, worse, it's all a lie. Su Yanying was probably a paid person who helped the store with false advertising.
Su Ping had no idea what Jiang Hanbing was thinking, but it could not be anything good for his business.
“Normal training still has a decent effect, you know. Do you want to buy it or not?”
Really true? Jiang Hanbing shook his head. If there used to be something good here, Su Yanying had already picked it up. Goddamn bum.
“I will... entrust you one pet for now.”
He did not want to leave empty-handed. Even if this “major coach” no longer exists, this store can still have connections. Being a customer is a good choice.
As for Su Yanying as a con man, Jiang Hanbing did not believe it was possible. Su Yanying would cooperate with a larger store if that was the case.
“One, yes?” Su Ping felt uneasy as his sales suddenly dwindled to a quarter, although he could not force his customers. “Good.”
Pingpongs!
“Emergency mission!” the system suddenly announced in his head. “A customer has withdrawn his order due to mistrust, which resulted in a decrease in revenue. On this special occasion, the host will be allowed to start a special training session.”
“Price: one hundred times the price of a normal training session.”
“Time limit: 30 days.”
“Requirements: customer pets should reach above average talent.”
“Gift: one intermediate Force Pellet plus randomly selected myth technique tutorial.”
“Penalty for failure: host rating minus 10.”
