Astral Pet Store – Chapter 106

Thanks to his Dummy Coach, he was able to sit in his shop and relax while waiting for the training session to end. By using their “connection”, he could feel that “doll” was almost his twin, which could do everything he could.

When the puppet found something to watch out for within the cultivation realm, Su Ping would know about it immediately.

Around 10 p.m., all the pets entrusted to the store that day had completed their training. Su Ping only needed to wait the next morning to return the pet to its owner. The puppets had helped her do the exercises several times faster, and without making her tense.

Since there was no way he would receive any more customers at this late hour, Su Ping closed the shop and went home.

Across the door, she heard her mother and sister happily talking to each other while occasionally laughing. Li Qingru saw him enter and asked with a face that was still slightly flushed due to his good mood, “You are late today. Is there something?”

“There is a bit of busyness in the store,” Su Ping replied casually while finding his sandal.

Su Lingyue curled her lips and looked at the television, while dazedly stroking her Snowball, obviously to avoid looking at it.

Regardless of his sister, Su Ping changed his clothes in a lighter outfit, then he took out his phone and transferred some money into Li Qingru's account.

“Hey mother, check your phone.”

Li Qingru did so and found the deposit message she had just received.

“What... Fifty thousand? Where did you find this much money? ”

Su Lingyue raised an eyebrow and sharpened her ears, but without looking towards Su Ping.

“This is a monthly profit that I accounted for in the store last month. There are more, but we have to wait for some late orders to end. ”

Su Ping had more savings in his account but he did not give it his all, in order to avoid too much suspicion. Besides, he needed money for himself.

“You earn from the store?” Li Qingru looked surprised.

Ever since he allowed Su Ping to handle the store, the business continued to decline until some important customers had stopped altogether due to Su Ping's horrible demeanor. Li Qingru was ready to see the shop completely shut down at this rate. He never thought he would see the income coming from Su Ping's hands, let alone such a large sum.

Fifty thousand was not much compared to when he was still running the shop personally. But it was an impressive milestone for Su Ping.

Li Qingru suddenly felt her eyes watering. He could sense that his son was working hard to support him.

Su Ping knew why his mother looked happy enough to cry, and he did not know whether to be happy or not. Still, he wanted to please his mother, that's for sure. “I *sighs *Mum? You can leave the store to me from now on, so don't worry about that and take a break. I'm sure I can get it in good shape so we have enough income to feed you both. ” Su Lingyue frowned. Did he say you two??

He thought the shop had nothing to do with him because he and Su Ping hated each other. Now that Su Ping was offering to take her in their financial affairs, she suddenly felt grateful. Just slightly.

He took a deep breath and maintained the expression “I don't care”.

Huh. I don't need your money. Worry about yourself first!

It was his character that forced him to act outside. However, deep down, Su Lingyue began to look at her brother in a new way.

“I know that.. I know you won't let me down.” Li Qingru tried hard not to cry so as not to spoil the atmosphere. “Wait. I'll make you dinner.”

He almost ran into the kitchen.

Su Ping saw his mother leave and also felt her eyes start to sting.

Su Lingyue glanced at him. “Come. Don't let our mom see that, huh?”

Su Ping did not reply. Seeing Su Ping “ not cooperative” anymore, Su Lingyue felt her old grudge back so she focused on the TV show again.

Su Ping was indeed hungry and expected a satisfying meal made by his mother. However, all the dishes brought to the table looked messy except for one, as if a hungry animal had just ransacked it.

Su Ping glanced at his sister. What happened to the food was too obvious.

Su Lingyue looked at her complaining gaze; she cleared her throat and climbed upstairs.

Li Qingru softened by saying, “How else, your brother had a tiring day. Here, I made a freshly baked drumstick for you. Swallow.”

Su Ping nodded and started chewing on the chicken leg. Nyams!

Li Qingru sat down and looked at him with a gentle smile. “Thanks to you, we have enough money to buy your sister the Lightning Rat. I'll go to the market tomorrow.”

No matter how hard they tried, the random Lightning Rat would not help much. Su Ping did not want his mother to waste power unnecessarily.

“He's right. I can get my own rat,” Su Lingyue spoke at the end of the stairs, before she looked at Su Ping unfriendly.

Learn how to pick a pet, huh? You're one to talk!

Su Ping responded by swallowing more fowl and giving him a satisfied smile.

“Huh!” Su Lingyue stepped away.

After dinner, Su Ping went to take a bath and was going back to his room. On his way, he felt astral force hovering around the neighboring room, which meant Su Lingyue was practicing.

Putting everything aside, he would admit that his sister was a hard worker. Training and cultivation may seem pleasant in the eyes of the unwary; people who actually spend day and night working quickly feel tired and dull.

If such things were fun, this world would be full of dedicated cultivators.

Su Ping entered his room to do his own training in bed, while splitting his mind to think of a plan for the next day.

With the help of Coach Dummy, he had time to check out the academy. That's what he wants to do.

Moreover, being a teacher meant that he could freely promote his shop to the students. Two birds with one stone.

The next morning, she wakes up refreshed and without her sister's jokes. He felt it was boring at first, but immediately threw away the thought because he did not want to be a freak who was happy to be feared.

After a quick breakfast, he went to his shop as quickly as possible.

He saw seven or eight familiar faces already waiting at the door from a distance. Although he did not plan to hasten his actions; as usual, he took the time to lock his bike before casually heading to the entrance of the shop.

Some customers who were waiting came to him.

“That's it, Mr Su!” Zhang Baoxing was the first to speak.

“Exact time, Mister!” “Mr Su, can you train my baby again?”

“Mine too!”

Clearly, those people were all satisfied with the results they had seen the day before.

“Can you all make your way first?” Su Ping complained.

The customers quickly stepped aside to reveal the way for him as if they were soldiers welcoming their general.

Su Ping shook his head and wondered if every morning would be this big since then.

With the help of some excited students, they raised the shutter door together.

Su Ping turned around and checked the crowd outside. “Line in the line. One by one.”

“Ya sir!” Everyone quickly did as they were told.

Su Ping had never expected those people to act so obediently, even though he was happy about it.

He took out his account book and started greeting them one after another. “Name, and what service do you buy.”

“Zhang Baoxing's. Pet training, sir! That same Pyro Canine from yesterday,” Zhang Baoxing announced loudly and clearly as if he was attending a military briefing.

Su Ping rubbed his ears. “Silence. And your payment, please. ” “Of course!” Zhang Baoxing quickly pulled out his phone to make the transfer, before calling his pet at the store.

The handsome creature appeared by stepping on some embers of fire and showing a majestic entrance. But once he recognized the familiar elements around him, especially Su Ping face, he lost his balance and stumbled onto the floor.
