Tang Ruyan's heart skipped a beat and put on a grim expression. He wondered if his father would acknowledge him, a useless girl, as his daughter at all.
After all, the Tang family was in trouble .. with two enemy families and his father injured!
“Ruyan, you don't know?”
Xia Yumeng looked at the girl who a moment before said that she wanted to take him around the base city. Xia Yumeng could hardly believe Tang Ruyan's ignorance of the matter.
Xia Yumeng was unable to understand why Tang Ruyan remained in the darkness. Tang Ruyan regained her senses. He did not explain it to his best friend. After a moment of silence, Tang Ruyan turned around. Su Ping was still taking down his customers.
Tang Ruyan made up her mind. “Xiao Meng,” said, “Thank you for telling me this. Sorry but I can't keep you company. I have to go back.”
“Don't worry about that. But, you have to be careful if you are determined to come back. ” Xiao Yumeng worried. She would not and could not stop Tang Ruyan from returning to help her family.
Tang Ruyan stepped onto the counter.
Su Ping had just finished writing something when he heard Tang Ruyan's voice.
“Su.”
“Ya?”
Su Ping looked at him.
“I want to take a few days off,” whispered Tang Ruyan.
Su Ping was surprised. Why did he ask for leave?
“For what?”
“No. I just want to take a few days off, ”gumam Tang Ruyan. He did not want Su Ping to get involved in the mess.
“What do you think this place is? I won't grant that request if you can't give me a rational reason!” Su Ping refused.
The customer in line looked at Tang Ruyan in surprise. This girl works for Su Ping?
How dare he! He asked for leave without giving any reason to that legendary battle pet warrior and he sounded very brave while doing so!
Tang Ruyan was speechless. “My friend here. I want to take a few days off and take her around.”
He pointed to Xia Yumeng.
Xia Yumeng immediately smiled sweetly and waved towards Su Ping.
The titled ranked old man standing behind Xia Yumeng felt nervous. He forced a smile on his face and nodded to Su Ping.
Su Ping raised his eyebrows. “Those places will be filled soon; you can get out of work by then. You do not need to ask for leave if you want to accompany your friends. You can take her around after work. How long do you think you need?” Tang Ruyan replied after a moment of silence. “I want to take two to three days off. I want to be with him for a longer time and I don't want to be here all day.”
“You don't want to stay here?” Su Ping frowned.
He measured it from top to bottom and he noticed his clenched fingers. “Tell me the truth. What are you gonna do? Why do you need three days off? Who will help me with the customer if you are not here? Never mind, I don't want to hear it from you. You two, please come for a moment. ”
Nervously and carefully, Xia Yumeng and the old man ventured out and stepped closer.
“It's nice to meet you, Sir,” said the two respectfully. They looked at Su Ping uneasily. The old man regretted not stopping his longing. He was afraid that Su Ping would also vent his anger on them because of Tang Ruyan. The Xia family was unable to anger a legendary fighting pet warrior, or the Tang family for that matter.
“Did he ask for three days off to accompany you?” Su Ping asked. Both of them did not feel comfortable under Su Ping gaze. At this moment, Su Ping no longer looked like an ordinary young man; his dignity made them feel respectful.
“Don't scare them,” said Tang Ruyan in a hurry.
Xia Yumeng turned pale as soon as she felt she was the target. He felt he would be torn to shreds by the slightest movement. That honest feeling of danger almost stopped his heart. The old man was soaked in cold sweat. Naturally, he did not want to lie to the legendary battle pet warrior. “Master, please don't be mad at us. Lady Tang wants to go back to see her family; it has nothing to do with us. Sir, please forgive me. I've said what I shouldn't have. Forgive me.”
He wants to make mistakes for his mistakes. If Su Ping punished someone, he could fall. At the very least, the Xia family would be safe.
“Back to see the Tang family?”
Surprised, Su Ping turned to Tang Ruyan. “Why?” She asked.
Tang Ruyan was unhappy that her lie was detected. Scared at Su Ping eyes, the girl lowered her head. “The Tang family is in trouble. I.. I have to go.” “But the Tang family has dumped you. You are no longer a person from the Tang family. ” Su Ping looked into his eyes. Su Ping still remembered it clearly, as if it had just happened the day before.
During the League of Supremacy, she had met Tang Ruyan's younger sister, the current future family head of the Tang family. He sounded very calm as he said, “If he pisses you off, kill him.”
Su Ping could not force himself to forgive the girl for saying such cruel words.
Tang Ruyan raised her head. Calmly, he claimed, “But I still have the blood of the Tang family inside me. I know they never treated me as one of them, but I am from the Tang family. I don't care if they don't admit me. Facts are facts!”
Su Ping was shaken.

“Did you say that you have decided?” She asked.
“Yes! I have to go!”
“What kind of trouble? What can you do if you go there?”
Tang Ruyan replied in silence.
He is in seventh place. Although he had a qualified battle pet that could increase his strength, it was the Situ and Wang family that he had to deal with; advanced fighting pet warriors meant nothing to them. He would not be of much help even if he was in the titled rank.
“If I can't live with them, let me be buried with them.”
Finally, Tang Ruyan gave her answer.
Su Ping was touched. He was more determined than he expected.
“Now you are on a suicide mission, it gives me more reasons to stop you back.”
Su Ping patted his head. “You are my temporary employee. If you die, where should I go and look for another? You mentioned that you don't want to stay here all day. Huh, what do you know? I like to force people to do what they don't want to do. So, starting today, be prepared to spend all your time here.”
