Astral Pet Store – Chapter 200

Seeing the two strongest members of their clan freeze to death on the floor, no other guards could think rationally. They only told their pets to randomly attack the Hell Dragon to no avail.

They want to run for their lives. However, as Tang Ruyan's sworn guardian, they knew for sure that desertion would only give them a fate worse than death.

A rank eight guard combined with some rank nine pets was a considerable force in the Tang Family. However, their efforts were of no use to the Little Skeleton, which quickly reduced their numbers.

Within a few minutes, the battlefield became quiet as all the guards lay still. Only the Hell Dragon, Black Dragon Dog, and Hell Robber were still wrestling.

The Hell Marauder was an Astral Pet ranked ninth rank peak like “Dragon Blood Fire Boss.” Furthermore, his spear seemed to be a high-value mystical weapon as well. Even with the many barriers, the Hell Dragon still suffered some injuries under the spear attack.

Fortunately, the Hell Dragon had great self-regenerating properties as a dragon-type pet, so he had yet to retreat.

The Hell Marauder did not escape after losing its master. Instead, his ultimate killer instinct emerges as he decides to obliterate every living thing in sight.

Little Skeleton approached the rank nine pet that had just been killed and channeled dark energy into the corpse. The corpse twitched and climbed up, before recklessly attacking the Robber Hell without holding anything back.

The Little Skeleton teleported among the several corpses and resurrected them to join the battle.

Those enslaved bodies could not deal much damage to Hell Marauder, but slowing it down was enough, as Inferno Dragon and Dark Dragon Hound did require a breath right then and there.

Along with his new “” teammate, Little Skeleton also joined in, putting more pressure on Hell Marauder.

Seeing the futility, the Hell Robbers cried out in frustration; it dropped the Dark Dragon Hound to the side and ran into the forest to escape.

Su Ping did not ask his pet to catch up because catching a rank nine pet on the run would not be easy. Moreover, he needed his pet to protect him when Quietus Wraith had yet to appear.

The ground shook as soon as the battle subsided. Wyrm Worm emerged from the ground while howling in pain. There was a huge wound along his stomach, from where the Fallen Angel had just appeared. It seemed that the Wyrm Worm had also lost its senses when Senior Feng was no longer around. It was trying to digest Tang Ruyan instead of protecting her.

Before it could even begin, the Fallen Angel used her sword to tear a hole in her body to take out Tang Ruyan.

The worm fell on the ground for a few seconds and also disappeared beneath the surface, never to appear again.

Under the protection of her pet, Tang Ruyan landed on the ground and inhaled the fresh air she needed after spending so much time inside the worm. But he choked when he saw all the corpses scattered around him.

His loyal guards, all lying quietly in pools of their own blood.

They ... they're all dead? A bad thought flashed through his mind as he quickly looked around the area, but without finding Senior Feng or his pet. He's running away? That's not possible…

Senior Feng had been a respected and loyal member of his family for decades. He didn't think he was going to leave her.

He searched again and managed to see the familiar form of Senior Feng nearby, but it was just a headless corpse.

He felt cold from head to toe all of a sudden. While waiting inside the worm, he assumed some bad results. But he had never seen this come.

The terrifying pressure exerted by the Hell Dragon suddenly fell on him. He looked up and saw the injured dragon staring at him with unceasing hatred.

Further ahead, he looked at the Dark Dragon Hound, Purple Python, and most importantly, Su Ping, who looked completely unharmed.

But... how can it?? Tang Ruyan couldn't believe the reality around her anymore. Our two titled warriors together leave no scratches on him? Geez .. Senior Feng is a top nine rank veteran. He has three pet-ruled under his command. They lost against .. men?

“Your turn,” Su Ping called out to her with a casual look.

Tang Ruyan felt all her hair stand up after hearing those merciless words. Just a moment before, he had considered Su Ping to be an insignificant worm that he could plow freely. Everything has turned into its opposite.

He took a deep breath.

“Who are you, and why do you hate us so much?”

Tang Ruyan no longer trusted her eyes. He believed that the young man there was some kind of ancient monster that used a human body.

Su Ping maintained his usual and carefree appearance. “As you can see, I'm just a random guy. And no, I have nothing against you. I wanted something, so I took it by force when necessary. Just like what you did to another group a while ago.”

Tang Ruyan clenched her teeth. “Will you let me go if I promise I won't repay you for this? I can even offer compensation.”

“No.” Su Ping's answer was quick.

Tang Ruyan made a quick and desperate decision. He sobbed while unbuttoning his shirt, letting Su Ping see his smooth skin.

“Please, I will agree to anything if you let me live. Anything...”

No one would believe that the young mistress of the famous Tang Family would decide to lure her enemies.

But he had no other choice at the moment.

Su Ping almost sneered at hearing that. “Good clothes. But I don't need them.”

I'm talking about MY BODY, you slowpoke! “Ack, um, but are—are you not interested in taking me with you??” she talks while acting like “girls in trouble.” He decided to explain it in order to make it through “s slow” guy like Su Ping.

“Oh yes, of course I'm interested.” Su Ping nodded with a smile.

“Great! I'll do anything and everything you ask, during—” “Ignore your pet first.”

Tang Ruyan stopped moving. The Fallen Angel was his last means of protection. Something told him that his pet was no match for Su Ping after seeing that Senior Feng was so easy to kill. But he was not willing to give up completely, as he thought of the possibility of Su Ping ending up exhausted after the fight. He might just have a chance to escape.

“Well, what are you waiting for?” Su Ping urged.

Tang Ruyan smiled. He was never someone who was ready to submit.

“Sure.”

He opened his pet room and pretended to be following Su Ping words. But instead of getting into the pet room, the Fallen Angel lunged at Su Ping.

Meanwhile, two other pets emerged from his pet room, including the Gale Wolf which he usually used to travel faster.

Su Ping only told the Little Skeleton to attack the enemy, as he was already prepared for such a situation.

From his many deaths, he had learned that the battle would not be won until the heart of his enemy stopped beating. The disadvantage of carelessness was expensive, and he would not repeat the mistake.

Tang Ruyan might be smart, but she was far from the level of cunning seen in the monsters she had encountered before.

Like a flash of lightning, the Little Skeleton reappeared in the path of the Fallen Angel and slashed down using its sword.

The Fallen Angel reacted in time by raising her sword, from which waves of intruding energy rose to mess with the spirit of the Little Skull.

It was completely ineffective as Little Skeleton had strengthened his spirit endurance to an unbelievable degree by absorbing the skeletal king's strength.

Two blades clashed, resulting in the Fallen Angel's trusted sword cracking.

The Fallen Angel examined her broken sword in surprise, then saw the shadow of the towering Little Skull and took out another weapon, which was a metal chain capable of holding back the greatest enemies.

The Little Skeleton flashed to dodge the attack. But no matter how he moved, the chain would always follow him.

Since running was useless, the Little Skeleton chose to let the chain catch it. His body shattered into pieces under the pressure as if a chain had squeezed it.

However, the broken pieces of bone are assembled and reassembled before reaching the ground.

With both weapons unavailable, the Fallen Angel received a direct hit this time around.

Meanwhile, the Hell Dragon and Black Dragon Dog chased after Tang Ruyan while fully displaying their mighty aura to suppress her.

Tang Ruyan's pet had gone through special training in her family's courtyard, aiming to increase their mental resilience. Although this was useless when Su Ping's pet could use the same level of repressive will as the ancient dragon king.

Within seconds, Tang Ruyan's pet was killed or severely injured. Also, Su Ping made sure to break the legs of Wolf Gale so that he could not escape.

All of Tang Ruyan's augmentation skills and healing arts were useless.

He felt completely dispirited after seeing that all of his pets had been subdued or overpowered by the Little Skeleton. He always had the confidence of having made great achievements at a fairly young age, which meant he had more than enough time to reach a higher level in his family. But a cruel truth has taken away his dreams. He's gonna die young.

Su Ping momentarily admired the woman's sad expression and took out a “storage roll.”

After receiving his astral strength, the scroll came alive and released an irresistible force of attraction that dragged Tang Ruyan away.

Losing their connection, her pet instantly became anxious. Shortly after, the Little Skeleton knocked the Fallen Angel unconscious and ended the fight.

Su Ping used his astral perception to peer into the scroll; he saw Tang Ruyan looking around the empty area in panic.

“Where am I?? Is this your prison? Why didn't you kill me?” he said as he sensed Su Ping watching him.

“Not yet. We'll find a time later so you can tell me about your clan. ”

Without waiting for Tang Ruyan's response further, Su Ping caught her attention.

He had become an enemy of the Tang Family, meaning they would face more unpleasant encounters in the future. She needed to learn about them to deal with them better, while Tang Ruyan was the perfect tool for that purpose.
