Astral Pet Store – Chapter 437

An hour later.

Su Ping arrived at the residential district of Holy Light Base City.

This base city was three times larger than the average base city.

The outer walls were a thousand meters tall and were able to protect the inhabitants from most of the ninth rank beasts. Even the king of ferocious beasts would have a hard time trying to break through.

There are residential districts, administrative districts, and Holy Light Districts in the base city.

Of all the districts, the Holy Light District was in the center of the base city; that was where the headquarters of the Coach Association was found.

The residential district is in the outer region. Since Su Ping was not a local, the driver could only drive him to the residential district.

Su Ping got out of the car and looked around.

Although the residential district was closer to the border of the base city, the building was quite grand. Tall buildings and large houses were built everywhere. Some of the buildings are unique. Some of the buildings are decorated with paintings of fighting pets on the outside. Some buildings were even built in the form of fighting pets, for example, a dragon was lying on the ground!

Many walkers on the street are accompanied by some adorable and small pets.

Su Ping could also see many different images of fighting pets painted on the street, including battle pets from demon families, or element families. The whole city is a world of astral pets. Su Ping had the belief that the environment was very important in nurturing one's interests. No wonder the city could see the birth of several pet fighting master fighters every year. That's understandable.

“Hurry. I heard that the coach competition has already started. ”

“Speed!” Several boys and girls ran past Su Ping.

Su Ping did not understand. Coach competition?

In what do the coaches compete?

Su Ping's impression of the trainer was that they all had to train the pet for some time before the effects could be displayed; perhaps days or even months. How boring is that competition?

Encouraged by curiosity, Su Ping chased after the boy and girl. Soon, Su Ping arrived at the medium-sized stadium. The boys and girls went inside.

Su Ping was ready to enter.

“Master, please show us your invitation or your Coach ID.” The two guards at the door stopped Su Ping.

Su Ping suddenly recalled that the boys and girls gave something to the guards.

“Yah... I don't have it.”

Su Ping replied.

The guards were surprised. One of them said, “Even no Coach ID? Even a basic level ID would be fine. ”

Su Ping had never gone to the Longjiang Base City Coach Association and had never obtained such an ID. Her mother has one. He was the one who had run the shop before and after all was a professional coach, although not at a high level.

“I have never applied.

“Can I buy a ticket?” Su Ping asked.

The two guards shook their heads. “No. ID only. You can go and pick it up, then you can go back.”

It never occurred to Su Ping that money would be useless here. Having no other choice, Su Ping turned around and prepared to leave.

“Do you want to go and watch the game? I can take you inside.” He heard a pleasant voice.

Two girls approached him.

They are both in their twenties. One of the girls wore a ponytail, jeans, and a white T-shirt while the other wore her hair down and something more stylish; a purple dress and high heels. “Rongrong, what are you doing? We don't know him.” The second girl tried to stop her friend.

“It's okay. He wanted to go and I had an extra ticket. We can take him with us.” The girl with the ponytail smiled sweetly.

The girl in purple looked at her friend in annoyance and then looked at Su Ping, only to see that he looked quite kind, handsome, and full of spirit. Suddenly, the girl in purple clothes no longer disputed the decision of her friend.

Hu Rongrong smiled. He took out his pocket wallet from his jeans and took out an ID the size of a bank card. “Can I take him with me?” he asked the guard.

The guard looked at ID and looked at the girl. “Nona, you are a coach in the middle position of the sixth rank. Of course you can take it with you. ”

Su Ping was surprised that the girl who seemed to be the same age as him was an experienced trainer.

Those who are ranked higher are advanced trainers.

Like fighting pet fighters, trainers have nine different ranks.

The process for a trainer is even more difficult than for a fighting pet fighter!

Theoretically, at the same rank, trainers would be more appreciated than pet fighters! “Please pass here.”

The guards stepped aside and invited them in respectfully.

Hu Rongrong took her ID and put her wallet back in her pocket. “I see that you are from another base city. Am I right?”

Su Ping nodded. “Yes. I just arrived at the Holy Light Base City today.” “Are you here for Coach Assembly?” The purple-clothed girl assessed Su Ping with interest.

“Coach Meetings?” Su Ping repeated those words.

“You don't know it?”

The two girls were stunned. Why didn't Su Ping hear the name of such a big event?

Su Ping realized that he might have asked the wrong question. “I'm here on business. I heard there was a match going on and wanted to stop by and have a look around.”

“Yah ..” The purple-clothed girl nodded. “This is a competition for coaches. Are you a coach too? Otherwise, you may not be able to understand the match.”

“I... somewhat.”

“Agot?” The two girls were getting confused. “Which level are you at? Why did you come without your ID? Did you lose it?” ask the girl in purple.

“I'm too busy to file ID.” Su Ping did not know what to say. “I think I'm a basic coach.” He had never been to the Coaches Association to take the test. He thinks he's at a basic level according to the system's assessment.

“So, the base level..” The girl in purple was staring at Su Ping again, clearly less interested in him. He even said less to her.

On the other hand, Hu Rongrong comforted. “You are very young. Being on the ground level is already good enough.”

Su Ping was speechless. This was the first time someone had spoken to him as if he was the junior of the group. The girl was not old but her words were mature.

Su Ping replied with a smile.

The three of them went inside.

Su Ping knew the names of the girls through their conversation. The girl wearing the ponytail was Hu Rongrong and the other in the purple dress was Kong Lingling. They were both coaches and students from famous academies.

Su Ping asked about the Coach Assembly. The City of Holy Light Base hosts a Coach Assembly which is held every three years. This event was like the Elite League for fighting pet fighters, a big event; coaches from all other base cities would gather in Holy Light Base City.

They will compete against each other to win the championship.

The winner will have the chance to join the headquarters of the Coach Association!

The Coach's Assembly is still in its early stages and the official match has yet to begin. The matches at the stadium are held independently.

There were many grassroots matches like this in Holy Light Base City, which was one of the features of base city.

The three of them stepped into the corridor. Immediately after, Su Ping began to hear loud cheers and shouts. At the end of the corridor was a stage with chairs around it. There must have been more than a thousand people there.

On the stage, there were two people with fighting pets, just like how the Elite League looked. The difference is that the stage is intact. The two did not look at each other; they focused on the fighting pets in front of them. “We need to find a better place,” Kong Lingling said as she looked around. To his delight, he suddenly realized something. He said to Hu Rongrong at once. “Rongrong, look, Senior Xiao is there. Let's go.”

Hu Rongrong hesitated when Kong Lingling had already grabbed her hand, dragging her away.
