“Mountain Drive, fast!” Surprised, Fan Ganglie quickly told his pets to make some stone walls as their protection. The timely move successfully protected the group from flying bone spikes.
By expanding their astral perception on top of the wall, they saw the Magical Corpse Beast somewhat smaller than before. That huge attack had cleared everything within his reach except for a small pile of bones.
“It was a Necro.” Explosion Ye Chenshan grimaced. “Only Magical Corpse Beast with outstanding talent can learn this skill.”
“Go for it!” Su Ping summoned the Little Skeleton in a merciless voice.
“Bone pile” broke and revealed some skeletal warriors inside. Amidst the group, Little Skeleton stood like a king accompanying his troops, while his body was still shrouded in a sinister dark mist.
Roars!
It was Little Skeleton's Deadly Roar skill. Despite its practical size, the Little Skeleton let out a more deafening cry than thunder. Those who heard the resounding sound felt their blood would freeze.
This skill was not much weaker than the roar of a dragon, and was usually enough to frighten ordinary beings.
The Undead Magic Corpse Life was not afraid of this, but his movements were stopped for a moment.
The Little Skeleton and the remaining skeletons rushed to the Magical Corpse Beast once more.
Meanwhile, Fan Ganglie and Lin Mokong woke up from a trance caused by a terrifying look and both told their pets to join the fight.
The two Azure Quetzalcoatl beasts spat out lightning bolts and poison clouds that quickly destroyed the bone structure of the beast.
The Mountain Mover created a crack in the ground just below the beast, still in hopes of trapping him.
Similarly, the Lin Mokong Fire Bird released a ball of burning lava onto the target.
The Six Armed Gorilla uses his weapon to physically destroy what he can expect, while using his “free hands” to defend.
The roarrr!
The Magical Corpse Beast looked weakened after using the Necro Blast. But, as an entity close to the top eight ranks, it could still retaliate by firing more spikes into the sky.
The Fire Bird had one of its wings pierced by a nail and fell from the air. Seeing this, Lin Mokong quickly sent him back to his pet room.
The Azure Quetzalcoatl was fast enough to dodge the spikes, after which it spat out another puddle of poison in the Magical Corpse Beast which further damaged its skin.
Thanks to Fan Ganglie's precision control, the Azure Quetzalcoatl and its shadow quickly removed the entire outermost shell of the beast.
Meanwhile, the gorilla remained within close range to attract the animal's attention.
The battle has not been won yet. Without any prior warning, the bones around the Magical Corpse Beast began to pulsate, as if his entire body was breathing.
“This is not good. It will use Spirit Surprise!” Ye Chenshan exclaimed.
Fan Ganglie and Lin Mokong quickly realized what that meant. A Magical Corpse Beast was one of the few Undead Astral Pet who was good at spiritual attacks, while “Spirit Shock” was one of his famous great moves.
“Come out of there!”
They fail to pull their pets back in time. The strange energy ripples of the Magical Corpse Beast disturbed the area around his body and quickly expanded.
Whirrr!
Even in the distance and with the protection of his astral strength, Su Ping still felt his head dizzy, as if someone had struck him with a hammer.
He gathered his determination and forced his mind to stay clear. Fortunately, the shock was not aimed at him, or he would faint on the spot.
All Astral Pets around the effect stop moving. Small Skeletons too, daydreaming. His superior determination was not enough to help him withstand such an immediate Spirit Surprise.
More flying bone spikes, aimed at Astral Pets that are currently motionless.
A huge bone spike shattered the Little Skeleton's body.
The two arms of the gorilla were pierced, and the vest of the chain also had a giant hole in the middle. Fortunately, the attack did not completely hit his body.
In the sky, the neck and wings of the Azure Quetzalcoatl were pierced. His chain was completely destroyed.
The Magical Corpse Beast did not stop there. After the spike attack, it created a black vortex in front of them.

Fan Ganglie turned pale after hearing that name. “But it is only possible for the rank nine undead type! What's with this thing??”

Similarly, Lin Mokong rushed to call his gorilla back.

The vortex disappeared before it reached Quetzalcoatl's head. It hasn't killed the victim. With most of his body gone, Azure Quetzalcoatl would soon die unless it received some sort of miraculous treatment.
Fan Ganglie saw his pet looking at him dejectedly and pleading, yet he did not dare to save, fearing that the Magical Corpse Beast could still use Black Annihilation again.
The beast pointed another bone nail at the head of the Azure Quetzalcoatl.
Azure Quetzalcoatl felt the great despair of his master. Losing hope, it slumped down while waiting for the inevitable death — all the bloody organs exposed on the floor will ensure this will happen in time.
The clash!
The approaching bone spikes were quickly intercepted by the blade aura.
The Little Skeleton merged back into the battlefield after reassembling its body, with a thicker layer of dark energy and more intense killing intent.
