“Alright, I need a bite.” Su Ping felt his stomach rumble and stood up.
He suddenly came to his senses: he could enjoy more of his mother's home cooking from then on, rather than going to cheap restaurants while working.
He went to the door and spoke to Joanna, who was still sitting there like a statue, “Wait what else? Come with me.”
Su Lingyue heard his words and clenched her fists furiously. He-he's already asked a girl to eat with us? As I thought!
Out of annoyance, he pushed Su Ping aside and slammed the door to walk in front. Unfortunately for him, the new wooden door was too heavy for him to slam. He almost hurt his hand.
“What's with him?” Su Ping glanced outside before looking back at Joanna. “Come. Are you somehow glued to your chair? ” “Wait, did you ask me to join you?” “What do you think?” Su Ping rolled his eyes impatiently. “How can you work for me on an empty stomach? I didn't plan to starve you like a slave. I'm not that bad.”
Joanna suddenly recalled her last afternoon tea as she ate fried dragon steak cooked by the best chefs in her region. He could not stop his mouth from watering
“Good. Lead.”
Inside another small shop nearby, there were enough tools for them to organize a living space after Su Ping placed everything he used during his usual working days there. “Bu, this is Joanna, the new helper I found for the store,” Su Ping said as she watched her mother prepare some ingredients in the kitchen.
Li Qingru was shocked forever when she saw Joanna. Then he quickly realized something. “A maid, you said?”
“Yes. I hired him.” Su Ping went to the basin to take a shower. Li Qingru looked at her son, “I really know what happened”, before she clasped Joanna's hand with a wide smile.
“Quick, sit down, darling. Joanna, what a name! Do you have trouble understanding us? I mean, you don't look like a local.”
Due to instinct, Joanna wanted to encourage the humans who touched her, but decided not to when she saw the great kindness shown in Li Qingru's eyes.
Slightly confused, he was pressed onto the chair by Li Qingru, while Su Lingyue watched everything with an understanding grin. “Nak, can he not speak our language?” Li Qingru asked Su Ping when all her questions were answered in silence. Su Ping looked up from his food. “Say something, huh? Manners. I told you.”
Joanna nodded slowly. “I can hear you, sure. Learning your language only takes a few minutes.”
Li Qingru glared at her son. “Don't be too rough on a woman!”
Su Ping gasped, while Joanna almost laughed as she saw Su Ping being scolded by a helpless human.
A pure-blooded god like him had no real parents; he had been instantly created from pure holy energy. He had seen all kinds of friendships among humans but could never understand what that meant.
Meanwhile, Li Qingru looked very fond of Joanna, especially because of her perfect appearance. Like most places in the world, being beautiful is always a gift that no one can refuse. Even a beautiful criminal would have an admirer supporting his actions. On the other hand, those who look too innocent rarely get any attention and respect, even if they do something commendable. As their meal continued, Su Ping gradually realized what had happened when his mother started asking too many irrelevant questions regarding Joanna's privacy. “Stop, mom. He's my worker, nothing else. Keep it that way and you will ask about his ancestors and their distant relatives next. ”
Li Qingru glared at him again. “Don't be childish when adults talk! Just seeing you. You will need my help if you want to find a girl to marry!” “Omong empty, mom. If I decide to, I'll find more girls than you think by throwing myself at my door. ” “Women today don't just judge your appearance! He sniffed all the prepared food and frowned when he realized that everything was “junk” food with no special properties.
Su Ping looked at her displeased face and asked, “What do you usually eat? I mean, back to. your place.” “Yes, dragon meat for normal occasions. I like the muscles in their neck. Tastes good. As for the addition, I want the phoenix's heart and blood. ”
Su Ping almost spewed out the soup he had just drunk, while Su Lingyue and Li Qingru looked at Joanna in disbelief.

“Ehem. Joanna's? If you do not want to eat, you can go back to the store first, ”try Su Ping.
“Let him decide for himself!” Li Qingru gave Joanna a pair of chopsticks. “Come, try some, baby. You will not be disappointed.”
Joanna secretly took out the strange tools in her hands; she had already learned how to use them by looking at Su Ping.
He tried a piece of spiced meat that he was unfamiliar with and felt a strong yet appetizing taste hit his tongue, which was acceptable. “Health?” Li Qingru looked at him excitedly.
“It's not bad.”
“Good! Help yourself if you like it!” Li Qingru happily pushed a few dishes towards him.
Li Qingru noticed Joanna's graceful table manners, then examined her daughter, who was eating her food like crazy. He slapped Su Lingyue's leg from under the table and told her to learn from Joanna using eye contact.
Su Lingyue glared at Su Ping and began to finish her meal faster.
“If you don't like food here, I can take you to the cultivation plane to hunt for something you like more,” Su Ping said as they returned to the store, after finishing “eat their family. ” “Actually, it's fine,” says Joanna, “Everything feels weird at first, but then the dish becomes, well, inviting.”
Su Ping glanced at him and failed to understand how a god grew fond of his mother's spicy cooking style.
As he waited even longer, he turned on his computer for random inspiration that would help him support the store.
Just reaching out to students will not work. I wonder how other pet stores do it? I have money, maybe I can ask the producers of movies and TV shows to put my ad there? Hm…
He decided to look for a pet store in hopes of learning something. Soon, a search led him to one of the most famous pet stores in Longjiang City called “The Primo.” The owner of this shop has opened a dozen chain stores in the upper city while also having a store set up in one of the best parts of the slum area of the city.
Su Ping found their main website and opened it.
