Just then, her mother went upstairs to call them and ask them to help make a cake.

They only won because they had exceeded the number of ferocious beasts.

“It's not safe out there ..” Su Yuanshan sighed. He took a few more bites of dumplings and shook his head.

The little beast squatted on the stairs, looking around, puzzled. Su Ping approached.

The Lightning Rat also recognized Su Ping.

“Where is this pet from?” Tang Ruyan was surprised to see the Lightning Rat

Zhong Lingtong went with him. He was quickly able to tell there was something wrong with the Lightning Rat. “I don't think it has a master. Is this the Lightning Rat? I detected a terrifying level of lightning energy within it. ”

“No sir? Is that a beast? No, that's not true. Look necklace. This Lightning Rat definitely has a master, ” Tang Ruyan said after a careful examination.

Only then did Su Ping notice the necklace hidden by the purple fur. The pendant is a silver heart. Su Ping grabbed the necklace but the action angered the Lightning Rat. It leaped backwards at once and showed its teeth to Su Ping again.

He was certain that Su Yanying would never release the Lightning Rat, his most powerful pet, unless something happened to him.

Su Ping remembered when Su Yanying and Ye Hao stopped by to say goodbye before the battle.

He never thought that it would be the last time he said anything to Su Yanying.

Su Ping bit his teeth.

He was willing to go and face the Otherworldly Heavenly King because he did not want to see anything happen to his friends, his customers. However, in the end he failed to protect all of them.

The Lightning Rat glared at Su Ping for a moment. The Lightning Rat calmed down because he did not take any further action. The fat rat jumped around, looking around, waiting for something.

But the streets are empty. There was not even a single pedestrian.

Su Ping suddenly pulled out his phone and he found Ye Hao's number. He called at once. The busy tone caught him with tension. He was worried that he would hear something he did not want to hear. But soon, the call was picked up and it was indeed Ye Hao who answered.

“Bapak. Su?”

Su Ping was relieved. “You said you would join the fight. How is Su Yanying?”

He received no reply. That last flurry of hope has been extinguished.
