Astral Pet Store – Chapter 276
Since the Weapon Control Zone was far away, Su Ping did not even consider it.
The Crescent Moon Zone was a little closer but still a bit far away. The round trip will take at least half a day.
On the day of the game, there were quite a few customers outside the Su Ping store. Those present were die-hard fans of the dragon, waiting eagerly for Su Ping to release it.
Su Ping did not plan on running his shop that day. Two days before the start of the competition and business officially had dropped drastically. He was looking for information about Primo, and it was the same for them.
As for other pet stores, they are worse. They are basically deserted.
Given the current situation, this was not because Primo conjured up some sabotage plans. Therefore, Su Ping stopped worrying.
The day before, only a dozen people had appeared in Su Ping's shop.
The price of service in the store is high. Even for general training, it cost a hundred thousand per round, which was several times higher than the price in Primo. Some people want to go back but they are short on money.
Passers-by who never go to the store are afraid of the expensive price. Moreover, as the competition drew nearer, the current effort would be too late.
They never thought it was possible to achieve any progress by relying on one pet store for a day or two.
Training takes time. It's not like pets can grow just because they take lessons.
Therefore, most people choose to go to the battle stadium to train, which will give them more confidence.
“Come go. I'll give you a ride today.”
Early in the morning, Su Ping locked the door and told Joanna, who could not leave the store, to stay inside and spend time with some pets or return to the grooming cage.
As for Tang Ruyan, Su Ping kept it inside the scroll so that she would not fight with Joanna.
Tang Ruyan was naturally unable to defeat Joanna. However, if he infuriated Joanna and got herself killed, Su Ping would lose a temporary employee dedicated to her shop.
Su Lingyue was surprised that Su Ping closed the door and did not plan on taking any business. He knew that Su Ping could pocket tens of millions a day; even when his business was slow in the past few days, he could easily make millions each day.
Did he give up on money?
He felt sorry for her and her. The shop belonged to Su Ping but he was his elder brother. What belongs to him is also his. “I can go alone. I'm not a kid. You don't have to drop me,” protest.
“It's not up to you to decide.”
Su Ping sounded impatient. “Do you think I want to waste time on this? You are the champion to come. Countless people are watching you. Primo was recently silent, but ever since the game started, they will be planning something behind us.
“If they kidnap you, drop you, and take you away so you miss the main game, how do you think I can keep the store running?”
Su Lingyue was still a student and a green hand in the Elite League. Only then did he realize the gravity of the matter. He shuddered in fear thinking of such a possibility. The law is not strictly enforced or followed in slums. There are some roads without surveillance cameras.
Even surveillance cameras won't help much. For Primo's powerful range, the surveillance cameras could not deter them at all.
“I understand.”
Su Lingyue nodded. He began to take the matter more seriously.
Su Ping went to the street where a car was parked. Wu Guansheng had been late for lessons the night before. At dinner, Su Ping had Wu Guansheng prepare a car for him and the car arrived at night.
It was a cruiser car with the best set-up, which was bulletproof and shockproof. Even rocket bullets can't blow up a car.
“Come away,” shouted Su Ping to Su Lingyue.
He entered as requested.
Su Ping fumbled around the wheel for a long time before he found a place to enter the key. It was very hidden.
Su Lingyue was instantly nervous. Even finding a place to enter a key takes a long time? Is he serious?
“Do you know how to drive? I'm thinking you haven't even taken driving lessons to get your license. Su Lingyue was stressed.
Suddenly, Su Lingyue felt Su Ping going with her was more dangerous than traveling alone.
“We can call a taxi, you know?” “Sit tight. Here it is!”
Su Ping stepped on the gas without saying anything more.
The car came out.
Su Lingyue immediately tightened her seat belt.
When they reached the place where their family lived, Su Ping stopped the car, lowered the windowpanes, and shouted to their mother.
Immediately, Li Qingru rushed out and said to her two children in the car, “I'm glad you gave your sister a ride. I'll worry less. ”
Li Qingru knew that Su Lingyue was participating but it was not the fact that she would become a champion. After all, Li Qingru rarely searched the internet, and to avoid making her worry, Su Ping told Su Lingyue to keep it a secret from Li Qingru.
“Bu ..” Su Pingyue wanted to talk but stopped for thinking twice.
“Ride safely and listen to your brother.” Li Qingru smiled.
“Bu, stay at home and do not exit if not necessary. Just watch TV or you will miss the game, ” Su Ping told him.
“I know. You don't have to tell me. ” Li Qingru laughing.
Su Ping said goodbye and hurried away.
Shocked by the speed Su Ping was driving, Li Qingru shouted, “Aiee, slowly.!” The car disappeared from view. Li Qingru sighed. “Yeah, I can never stop worrying about them ...”
The Crescent Moon Zone.
It is a rich zone in a slum city; its prosperity can be felt from the cleanliness and how well the roads are built.
Lots of fancy cars on the highway. Su Ping meandered through the traffic and followed the navigation instructions to the branch venue for the initial match.
“So many people?”
The sheer number of luxurious cars that crowded the road made Su Lingyue dumbfounded. They all travel in the same direction: the venue. They are participants or spectators.
Su Ping nodded. He could feel how excited people were about this grand event.
It would normally take two hours to travel, but this time it took him four hours. Fortunately, Su Ping left early so they managed to reach the main line.
Su Ping was relieved that there was no one to stop them on the road. It could be said, if not on the way, then the plan to sabotage them would definitely happen in the place. He wondered if Primo would set a trap there or after the first match. Soon, Su Ping parked his car.
The road is jammed. He couldn't move an inch.
They came down and admired the sea of people. It's just an early match from one zone, however, quite a number of people showed up. Wouldn't it be more exaggerated when it comes to the last round and the final match? Someone shouts, “Move, move!
“Surge! My son is a sixth rank battle pet warrior. He will definitely enter the Top 1000. Don't block his way. You can't afford it!”
Su Ping turned around, only to see the crowd split up to clear a path for someone.
A middle-aged man who looked like an overnight millionaire with a gold necklace around his neck and a designer watch on his wrist was exploring the street with a fat middle-aged woman accompanying him.
Following them was a thin youth with rosy cheeks.
“He is a sixth rank battlefighter?” Su Lingyue was surprised. He did not expect that the random person he met here was someone who was two ranks above him.
Su Ping glanced at a glance and threw away his face. He doesn't seem to worry. “Nothing is strange. I can say that he has just reached this rank because of some herbs and ingredients. I guess he had never visited a barren area. The only battle experience he had was limited to training in a battle stadium, which was pointless. ”
Su Lingyue could see that this young man did not possess the ferocity he would find in hunting explorers in barren areas. All explorers had sharp eyes like wolves.
The fat middle-aged lady adorned with gems shouted to Su Ping and Su Lingyue, “You, son, give way.” Su Lingyue was just about to step aside when Su Ping grabbed her shoulder and jumped into the air. He flew it to that place.
When could they arrive if they had to break through the crowd?
