Astral Pet Store – Chapter 599
After Su Ping and Li Yuanfeng managed to hide, Su Lingyue said, “Sorry, I got into trouble again ..” He looked paler and could barely stand up.
He knew that Su Ping would only go there for one reason, to find him.
His heart was saddened to think that Su Ping had traveled far away from Longjiang Base City, which was a dangerous undertaking. He wasn't even brave enough to make eye contact with her.
“Why are you here?” Su Ping looked at him. He was angry at her and worried about her at the same time. This girl never stopped making trouble.
“They tricked Snowball into coming here and I came to find him.” Su Lingyue's voice was getting lower.
He entered the place to find the Snowball, but then several beast kings appeared and surrounded him when he went to a certain place inside. There is no turning back for him. He had no other choice but to continue running forward; he ended up in that place somehow.
He realized that the place was full of beast kings; he could not go anywhere. Having no other choice, he hid and waited for death to arrive.
He has given up all hope. But when he thought that death was inevitable, he saw Su Ping.
“They?”
Su Ping took a moment before he asked in a deep voice, “You mean the student surnamed Nan from the academy?”
“You know about that?”
Su Lingyue immediately realized that Su Ping must have gone to the academy or that he would not be there.
“How do they catch Snowballs? Also, this place is off limits at your academy. Don't you know how dangerous this is? Is it all worthwhile, just for pets?”
Su Ping was angry at him.
They can always get another pet. That charcoal-like Phantom Flame Beast also lacked a rare bloodline.
“I know that but, Snowball has always been my pet.. And, you coached Snowball, so he's better than ever. I can't let anything happen to him …” Su Lingyue bit her lips and sparkling tears in her eyes. He was not bad since Su Ping had scolded him. It was because he felt regret for what he did, which was the only reason Su Ping had been there from the start.
He knows what that place is. He thought Su Ping would be able to enter but never come out.
“So, you want to come here and end up in trouble with Snowball?” Su Ping said furiously.
He did want to let his anger run rampant, but the look on his face made him stop.
He would probably do the same if Snowball was his pet.
“Did you find Snowball?”
“Ya.”
“How did they catch Snowball? Isn't Snowball in your contract room?”
“...Snowball likes to hang out and I always let Snowball stay outside with me,” whispered Su Lingyue. Su Ping rolled his eyes. Snowballs like to hang out. Just for that, it almost got his master killed. He realized that he might not train Snowball well.
“Give Snowball to me when we get back. I will train him again.” Su Ping squeezed those words out of his mouth.
Su Lingyue looked at him. Somehow, he found his words filled with killing intent!
But…
Can they come back? He lowered his eyes. “I'm sorry for dragging you down again ..”
“I'm glad you know this. Don't you always forget?” Su Ping interrupted his self-blame.
After all, Deep Caves is not a place to have fun.
Li Yuanfeng smiled as he looked at the two brothers. “We can go back now that you find your sister,” he told Su Ping.
“Ya.”
Li Yuanfeng's voice made Su Ping feel less angry. “This is not the place for us to talk. I will take you out first,” he told Su Lingyue.
Su Lingyue finally raised her head. “There are five animal kings roaming in this area. We can bump into them if we go out.”
“Then we will run.” Su Ping did not bother to waste time in that place. He opened the scroll. “Log in and rest.”
“I can help you. Moon has learned a very powerful hiding skill, just like the one I used. The skill can cover our breath and voice completely. This is how I survive without the king of beasts finding me. But I couldn't move fast enough when I used it.” He refused to get inside the scroll.
Su Ping also noticed that the skill he had just used was quite strange. Even though he had given a strong reason, he would not let her stay outside. “You don't have much astral power left in you. Go ahead and rest. We can find a way out now that we've made it in. Staying outside with us will only slow us down. ”
Su Lingyue wanted to defend herself.
But Li Yuanfeng advised him otherwise, “Listen to your brother. We've been here for some time now and we have to get out.”
Su Lingyue had to budge because the two men insisted. He crawled into the scroll, but before he entered, he stared at Su Ping one last time. “If you are in danger, run and leave this place. Don't worry about me. I'll count on you to look after our parents.”.
“You crusher. Shut up,” Su Ping stopped him.
He pushed his head into the scroll.
Su Lingyue fell into the scroll, head first.
Su Ping closed the scroll hard. Li Yuanfeng did not know what to say. “Come. It's time to return, ” Su Ping said to Li Yuanfeng.
Li Yuanfeng asked a strange question, “Sister Su, do you have a girlfriend?”
“Why do I want to have a girlfriend?”
The depths of the Corridor.
There was a huge hole; the base was the actual nest where all the ferocious beasts in the Inner Cave gathered.
Of course, as more and more beasts multiplied, the nest had no more space.
Naturally, the weak would be marginalized in that place.
Thus, the beasts had to leave their nests and obtain a residence in the Corridor.
Many pieces of bone were scattered on the edge of the hole in the pitch-black nest; its flesh had been eaten by something. His red eyes suddenly opened in the darkness.
The pupil runs across the eye vertically; its structure is complex, created by a network entangled together. His eyes were ice cold.
Whooshing sound!
A beast with four wings flew. It had a lion body but a human head. The beast landed in plain sight and the beast was only as big as its pupils! The four-winged beast lowered its head and said with great respect, “Master, how can I help?”
The red eyes moved. A deep and loud voice sounded. “I smell some small things. Find them and kill them!”
Although surprised, the winged beast immediately acknowledged the order.
