Astral Pet Store – Chapter 461

Some young men and women were sitting together.

“Quite turnout in today's finals. I can't believe the stadium is full thirty minutes after it opens!”

“Tell me.. Ticket prices skyrocketed yesterday, and still sold out in seconds. Fortunately, I was quite nimble with my hands after twenty-seven years of training as a single man. Otherwise, we will miss. ”

“Sister Feng, you are truly amazing!”

It was Lin Feng and his friends who had traveled far away to take their tests in the Holy Light Base City. They were all in high spirits for having completed their tests with satisfactory grades. Therefore, they decided to stay and watch the coach competition held once every three years.

The participants of the competition were young people whose age could not exceed thirty! Lin Feng and his friends were qualified to participate but were late to get there and missed the registration time. Therefore, they do not feel regret. Lin Feng and Yue Yingying had extraordinary abilities considering the fact that both of them were at the sixth rank. Both of them would stand out even when compared to the other youngsters from Holy Light Base City. However, after watching the video of the competition earlier, the two realized that they would soon be eliminated even if they took part in it.

Coaches must be equipped with abilities that are close to seventh rank if they want a place among the top ten!

Anyone aiming to win the championship must have seventh rank ability!

All the winners of the previous competition were seventh-ranked coaches. Even in years where talent gathered, third place was sometimes given to seventh rank coaches!

The seventh-ranked coach is an advanced trainer, one more step to becoming a master coach!

If they are lucky enough to have a master trainer as a mentor, advanced trainers can become their own master trainers easily. On the other hand, to reach the level of a top trainer must be in accordance with one's natural destiny and grace.

Most of the previous first place winners have been major coaches. Only a few who were too young and aggressive wasted their talents and ended up tarnishing their own reputations. “See there. That chair is for top trainers!”

“Top trainers will come?” “Of course! The most important thing today is not the last game to decide who the champion is, but when the top coaches come to choose the people to be his students!”

“So I've heard. I was told that the champions will be hot items and some top coaches will fight for them.”

“Betulkah? Will the top coaches fight like that?”

“What do you know? It's called appreciating talent!”

Suddenly, Lin Feng silenced his friends and pointed in a direction. “See! They're here!”

Friends look. There were several reporters and reporters in the guarded corridor, next to the top coach seats. They suddenly became excited—like sharks who could smell the blood of— and prepared their equipment as they waited at the entrance. Then, two people, one old and one young came out from the entrance, talking cheerfully and funnyly.

The old man wore a robe unique to the top trainer with a medal pinned on the robe. The kind-hearted old man paid close attention to his appearance.

On the other hand, the young man was dressed casually. His face was indeed handsome, but other than that, nothing stood out from the young man. Snap, snap The reporters are rushing to take photos. “What is it..”.

Lin Feng and his friends noticed something. They stared in amazement, as if they had seen a ghost.

An old top coach is the center of attention, but the focus of those young people is on the young one next to him. Inevitably they kept rubbing their eyes, wondering if there was anything that blurred their gaze.

Isn't the young one the person we met before?

Why was he talking happily to a top coach?!

Lin Feng and his friends were confused.

They can't figure it out. What the hell is going on?

They were quite surprised when they saw Su Ping holding the main trainer medal. Lin Feng apologized to Su Ping in an excellent manner.

They would never have expected that they would witness something more outrageous, once they saw Su Ping walking alongside a top trainer.

Many people noticed when Su Ping and the Vice Chairman entered the stadium. Quite a lot of people were screaming in shock.

That highlight made Su Ping very uncomfortable.

The Vice Chairman, on the other hand, was already used to it. He was always smiling and he would politely nod to reporters from the mainstream media in the Holy Light Base City.

“I think we got here early,” said the Vice Chairman as he stared at the row of empty seats.

Su Ping did not answer anything.

Early or not, it doesn't matter.

They walked to their seats. The Vice Chairman sat in one of the chairs in the middle. Seats were usually reserved for the Chairman but he rarely went to such events. If the Vice Chairman did not sit there, no one else would sit down.

Su Ping sat next to him.

The people who noticed them were stunned after seeing the chair they had chosen.

The reporters also looked at them blankly.

Everyone thought the same thing—that Su Ping was the student who came with the Vice Chairman. No one expected that he would choose one of those chairs!

The seat is reserved for top trainers!

Even the Chairman's son would not have the right to sit there!

Su Ping nodded. He doesn't mind.

He was just there to pick a student.

He would go straight home after he found someone he was happy with and leave a few words of farewell to the Vice Chairman. The Holy Light Base City was not a familiar place and the people there were strangers. He doesn't care about the place or the people.

Other top coaches showed up moments after their arrival.

The Vice Chairman had introduced Su Ping to some of those top coaches the day before. The latter was surprised and interested that Su Ping would be there to find a student for himself. They are eager to get to know this new top coach. They all greeted Su Ping and sat down by themselves.

Some of the top trainers did not see Su Ping the other day; some of them were dumbfounded upon seeing his unfamiliar face. The Vice Chairman paid tribute and explained Su Ping's status as the new top coach.

They made small talk with Su Ping in a friendly manner.

The group began to chat cheerfully as more and more top coaches came.

All of them know each other. They will usually be busy with their own work, so it is easy for them to find something to discuss whenever they get together.

“So, friends, want to bet?” an old man sitting beside Su Ping proposed with a smile. The old man was named Hu Jiutong; he was one of the top trainers Su Ping had met the previous day. Su Ping later learned that he was Hu Rongrong's grandfather, whom Su Ping had met before; he was also one of the senior top trainers working at the headquarters.

Hu Jiutong is skilled in training dragons and is one of the most prominent top trainers. Still, everyone knows about his weakness, which is gambling. The others laughed out loud, knowing Hu Jiutong's desire to dip her finger into gambling again.

“What do we bet?” Lv Renwei asked with her own smile.

“To guess today's champion!” Hu Jiutong was blown away, seeing her old friend helping out. He stroked his mustache as he continued, “Let's find out who has the best eyes today. We only have a few participants. Who do you think will be the champion?”

Lv Renwei knew this was coming. She laughs. “You never changed.. I've seen their videos. I have money in Muliu Tusu!” “Muliu Tusu? Genius of the Muliu family? Man, you have good eyes! ” Hu Jiutong acted surprised at first but then asked others with a smile, “How about you?”

“Let's talk about the stakes first,” replied one of them.

“True, the other” supports that proposal.

They'll make some fun out of it.

A black-robed old man stated, “I think we can add a little more fun to it. There is no fun in guessing who is the champion. How about we guess who will become the Big Three? That would make things more interesting, wouldn't it?”

Hu Jiutong's eyes shone. “Cao Old, you are good!”

“I think Cao's idea is good. Brother Su, you want to play? ” Lv Renwei asked Su Ping.

He didn't want to rain at their parade, seeing that everyone was happy. He nodded and said, “Sure, I will play.”

“Good!”

Hu Jiutong became even more excited. “Let's all make a Top 3 list. As for the stakes, what about the ninth rank dragon?”

“Ennyah. Everyone knows you have more than enough dragons. We're not pet fighters. Why do we need dragons? Sell it?” one of the top coaches said angrily.

The others agreed.

Dragons are valuable but they focus on different areas of study and not all of them work on that type of beast. They had to give the dragons that would not benefit them at all.

“How about the training skill book?” Lv Renwei replied after some thought.

Others are happy about it. Training skill books were something they all wanted.

“That we can do. But it was definitely an intermediate level training skill book. I don't think any of you have the guts to offer a low-level training skill book. ”

“Of course. I can accept the terms. ” Some nods.

No one else has the opposite view.

It was just a fun bet. They also did not want an intermediate-level training skill book; however, there was a great diversity. When it comes to coaches, they will never have enough training skill books and they can always teach new skills to their students.

Compared to dragons, training skill books were more interesting.

“You ...” Hu Jiutong doesn't know what to say.

What's wrong with the dragon?

I have many dragons. I can afford to pay the bet!

Moreover, dragons were more expensive than mid-level training skill books. A rank nine dragon should at least be as valuable as an advanced training skill book!

Hu Jiutong sighed. He did not have many intermediate level training skill books left. He turned to Su Ping, “Brother Su, do you agree with that?”

The other top trainer remembered Su Ping. They were all senior coaches and could bring out training skill books easily. However, Su Ping was from another base city. In their opinion, there was only one word that could be used to describe a base city that was not the Holy Light Base City: poverty.

A small bet is set for them to have fun. If the stakes are too high for any of them, where is the fun?
