“Vilence? How could you say such a thing to your husband? You're accusing me of a crime?” The emotions that Karan initially stored well slowly exploded out of hand. Karan did not understand at all the reason Raya cornered him like that. Committing crimes? So ridiculous. Karan will not do anything that has nothing to do with Raya. If previously that person was assigned as a spy, then now Karan assigned that person as the protector of the Kingdom. It was unexpected that that person had instead returned to duty as an impromptu spy today. From that person Karan knew that the person who invited Raya to meet was Varen. It was definitely the man who revealed everything to Raya.

From that information Karan came to the room of Raya, the place where the wife is now. Raya so expertly escaped. In just a second he had already disappeared from Karan's sight. That's what makes Karan so worried about losing Raya. His wife left him 12 years ago, then ran away when they were newly married. There is no guarantee the Kingdom will not do the same in the future.
