Something Awkward

The night continued despite the clock showing midnight. The reason is because Karan's dating story was leaked by his own mother. The third date is even more unique. While taking her date to the mall for lunch, something interesting happens. They were trapped in a crowded elevator by visitors. And when the door opened, Karan hurriedly came out. Well, he forgot to be with the woman there. As a result, Karan continues his lunch while the woman is trapped inside a dozen people in the elevator.

“You know, Son. The woman was so angry at Mama because Karan left her in the elevator,” babble the mother to her daughter-in-law. What Karan's father said was true and the middle-aged woman could not argue. “Ya. Raya, we continue the story about Karan next time only. Now, you just take your husband to the room. He must have been very tired because he just arrived here.”

Raya also obeyed the speech of the mother-in-law. The woman touched Karan's hand, then she made a sound, “Let's move to the room. I'm sleepy too.”

So, what does Karan want by letting Raya get back to work? Not that I can't believe what happened, but Raya can't trust Karan. Especially after what happened to him.
