Mysterious Room

It was a small photo of Karan. Raya sure for sure. When viewed from the picture, it looks once Karan is so happy there. There were no signs of sadness let alone suffering from any illness. Maybe like Karan desawa now, even though adult Karan looks more annoying and cruel. Raya really wants to know more fully Karan's childhood story, much more fully than told by Karan's aunt. Now is the time. I will wait for my husband to open his voice. Maybe after this their relationship will be harmonious. Raya can understand the background of the change in the attitude of the husband, and vice versa. That way they can minimize unnecessary disputes.

“What do you see?” cetus Karan when he came out of the bathroom. The man only used a towel on his bright bottom which only showed Karan's exposed upper body. I don't know when Karan is exercising. It seemed like the man was always busy in the office with his myriad of jobs. Not only one company, Karan must also monitor the management of family companies that have other branches of the company. No longer imagined what kind of busy life the man lived.

“Fotomu. Also your family photos,” suhut Raya. She walked up to her husband and touched the man's big hand. “Sini, I'll dry your hair,” bargain. Raya takes Karan to the edge of the bed. With a sharp look, she gave the code to her husband.

“What?” Karan asked because he really did not understand what his wife meant by that gaze.

“Sit under. I'm not as tall as you, Karan. How can I touch your head?” gerutu Raya's. He did not know how to dry Karan's hair if the man remained standing.

“No, under cold. I'm just like this.” There was no way Karan could sit on the floor. In addition to the marble floor was cold, Karan also did not wear his clothes. It felt strange if he had to sit down without any clothes at all. Eventually the man chose another way. He bowed before Raya so that she could dry her hair as she wanted.

Raya smiled too. She was happy because her husband was following her wishes. “Good,” ti. He took the hairdryer out of the nightstand drawer, connected it to a power source, then turned it on. With a condition it dries Karan's hair. “You school where is SD time?” exchange Raya with a slightly tight sound so as not to be inferior to the noise of a hair dryer.

Karan did not answer. The man took about 10 seconds to respond to his wife's words. “I don't take formal school. I went to school at home. I mean Mama and Papa brought some teachers home. And I learned from them.”

Karan did tell the story as Raya heard from the aunt. But there is still the awkwardness that Raya feels. Why is Karan suddenly so open about his past while all this time, Karan always avoids questions about Karan's childhood. Not only from the media, but also the questions that Raya raises. What made Raya change her mind?

“Why don't you take formal school?” Pretending to ask again. It acts as if it knows nothing about Karan's past. Didn't hear aunt Karan's story about the man's illness. Raya just wants Karan to be honest. Also he will not get tired of hearing it even though the topic discussed remains the same. There may be additional information known later.

As soon as Raya finished drying her hair, Karan turned away. He opened the closet and took his clothes. The man was not at all awkward to wear his clothes in front of his wife. For him, Raya had seen all the ins and outs of his body, had touched it even once clawed it in several places. There was no reason for Karan to feel embarrassed or awkward in front of the woman.

“I'm sick. Pneumonic. You must have heard the name of the disease. I have had the disease since childhood, so I can't go to school.”

Karan nodded his head. “Ya,” answer. He put a towel in the bathroom, then put his hands together. “It's a shame, don't ask me things don't matter anymore. Aren't you tired? We sleep now?”

“Alright,” sahut Raya follow Karan steps. When the man lay down, Raya also lay down. She instead chooses to sneak into Karan's body and hold her husband. “Why did you just tell me this?”

“Because this is not important. The past is the past. No need to be tapped again.” Karan felt overwhelmed by his own words. Really so? It was not between him and Raya that Karan first brought up their past problems. Not only bringing up, Karan even one second never forgot his feelings of hatred for Raya. Now, Karan confused himself with his heart. He was sure that he hated Raya so much, but when the woman got hurt, he would get angry at himself. If so, how can he repay Raya's actions?

Raya finally fell silent. He pretended to be asleep. Yes pretend because as soon as Karan closes his eyes, Raya releases Karan's embrace. “He is really asleep now,” chirped when making sure for the umpteenth time that Karan was already asleep in a dream.

Where is Raya's destination? Of course downstairs, precisely in a special room near the warehouse, at the end of the living room. Previously, Raya had accidentally entered there. Her mother-in-law explained that it was the room where Karan collected his toys and all the objects of Karan's collection from childhood to adulthood. So, in addition to the family photo attached to the wall of Karan's room, there is not a single relic of Karan as a child there. Everything is put in that place.

Raya walked there. It was a little horrifying because the mansion was so desolate. There is no one on the move there because all the residents of the house are asleep. Perhaps only the two guards in front were standing guard at his post. Raya is really alone.

Fortunately, the room was not locked. Raya sure never locked because Karan's mother often visited the room. As soon as Raya opened it, a fragrant aroma was smelled from the fragrance of the room on the wall. The air is quite cool because the air conditioning there is turned on. Why is the cooler still turned on when no one occupies the room? Did someone come before, but did not have time to turn off the air conditioner?

Surprisingly, even though the air in the room was fragrant and cool, the lights there were still turned off. Raya had to press the switch in order to see what was inside there. Photos, trophies, charters, toys, some sports equipment until the wheelchair was there. It seems that none of Karan's belongings were thrown away or donated by the man's family. When Raya opened one of the cabinets, the baby equipment that had long ago was still neatly stored there.

Suddenly Raya felt amazed and wondered. Why is all Karan's stuff still in this room? Does the Karan family have some kind of belief that old stuff, as bad as it is, should still be kept as a form of appreciation? Or is there some other meaning there? Suppose the items were deliberately stored for later giving to Karan's son, or the grandson of Karan's father and mother.

Because, when married two months ago, Karan's mother once gave one of his valuable items to Raya, namely a pair of gold earrings. He said the earrings were first by Karan's father to him when they were married. So that the earrings are lowered into the Kingdom. Furthermore, Raya believes the mother-in-law will tell her to hand over the family heirloom to her son so that the child gives it to his partner. Or Raya should give it to her daughter if she does not have a son.

While being engrossed in looking at the closet containing baby equipment, suddenly Raya heard the sound of the footsteps of someone leading to the room. Raya jerks. Who'sis that? What's he supposed to do? Should he hide or did he just meet the man? What if that person is Karan and that man is mad at him? Chest Flavor erratic thumping. He was tense, his body trembling slightly in fear. His brain commanded him to leave, but his feet would not move as though they were glued to the white marble. Raya could only stand frozen with sweat flooding her temples while the clattering of steps was getting closer and closer to the room.
