On Sunday night, the Onyx club seemed to be full of all sorts of people. Many of them seek momentary pleasure, and quench their earthly thirst.
In the crowded club, it looks milling about various types of people. Not to forget also the V who are looking for a partner satisfied his desire.
The Vs generally do have an interesting physique, and most of them are experts or specialists in their field. Not typical of most people.
When they were in the crowd, there was a magnet that attracted humans to approach. But unfortunately, the Vs have no interest in humans except for specific purposes.
When Nate and Marcus entered the room, they were immediately greeted with a frenzy of music from the DJ who was on stage.
The auras of both seem to be of interest to both the Vs, as well as to humans in general.
Slowly, some of those who had black eyes immediately approached Nate and eagerly tried to touch the man.
"What are you doing, Miss Jenkins?"
Marcus' hoarse voice seemed to bring the woman's consciousness back.
"Mr Marcus. Mr. Nathanael."
The woman blinked her eyes at Nate, who was only met with a blank look from the man in question.
"We're here for another purpose."
The explanation from Marcus made the crowd slowly begin to spread. They have enough adab, not to disturb those who do not want to be disturbed.
After which, the two men immediately headed to the room that Marcus had previously entered when he last came. They were also welcomed by the same great man.
Unlike before, the room looked empty. There were no people in it except the three of them.
Finished delivering both guests to the owner's room, the big man left them and returned to his post.
The two men were directly facing off against the blond man with bright blue eyes. He smiled and got up to his guests.
"Mr Nathanael."
"Mr Felixander."
The two men shook hands tightly and before releasing his hand, the bright blue-eyed man took the time to turn to Marcus. Mock.
"Look, the master turned out to be more classy than his men."
Marcus who heard it only snorted and threw his face away.
Chuckling, Felix took his two guests to sit on the sofa.
After feeling relaxed with his respective positions, Felix turned to Nate who was sitting on the single sofa beside him. He held up his tall glass that contained expensive wine.
"Drink?"
Hearing him, Nate simply shook his head and smiled. This made Felix laugh back at his seat.
"You and your green tea. Even though it's been decades, I still don't understand."
"Hundreds of years, Felix." Error Marcus.
The cold man's words made Felix pout.
"I don't like being reminded of my age, Marcus."
"But the truth is, you're old."
Instead of getting angry, the man even tidied up his blonde hair and looked at Nate. He showed his wine glass in front of his guests.
"And like wine. The older the age, the more delicious it will taste." He also drank his wine with solemnity.
Marcus must admit, that Felix is not a person who easily provoked his anger. He can always find the gaps to make his guests feel comfortable. This is what makes him able to survive in his profession for so long.
Putting his wine glass on the table, Felix leaned his back against the sofa. He placed both his arms longitudinally on either side of his soft head.
"So, what are you guys suddenly looking forward to seeing me?"
"Regarding the information you gave me last night. Is true?" Ask Nate without saying anything.
Accustomed to the nature of this client in front of him, Felix simply smiled and nodded.
"really. I dug it myself."
"But how can-"
"As you know, our people cannot reproduce. If anyone tries it on humans, it is certain that humans will die. And those who do, will get a much more painful punishment than death itself."
Nate looked at Felix and nodded. "Yes. That's all I know. From the past."
The blonde guy was silent. He suddenly got up from his seat. "I need a cigar."
This made Nate and Marcus look at each other. Realizing that the information the man was about to provide seemed important, and made him a little uncomfortable.
Full of one breath, Felix sucked the cigar deep. And when it let out, a very thick smoke came out from its mouth and both nostrils. Spreading a distinctive fragrant smell throughout the room.
It was obvious that the man looked confused and unsettled.
"Felix?" Slowly, Nate asked.
To be honest, he would never force the man to tell a story if he didn't want to.
"There's one exception."
Without looking at the two guests, Felix began.
"Unless one of the Masters himself wants it."
The information made the two men in front of him fixate. This was the first time they had heard of this.
"You mean Alina..."
"She's the daughter of one of the Masters."
Nate was glued to his couch. He still could not absorb this new information well.
"About Felix. I've never heard of this at all. My whole life."
There was Marcus' hoarse voice breaking the silence.
The man chuckled at hearing it. He looked at Marcus sharply.
"If your age has reached my age, you will hear many things, Marcus."
That's a fact. Although Felix has a stature that looks still 40 years old, but the age of the man has actually reached 800 years more.
In less than 2 centuries, he will reach his age limit. And he was ready to welcome her. Felix has been quite content living his life all this time.
In his early years, Felixander Osborne was a soldier with a brilliant military career. And just like Nate, he was also a strategist.
But unlike him, Felix rarely plunges directly into the war and does more planning behind the scenes.
After that, he spent many years to become a spy for the country under the alias The O'x. He was quite famous in his field, until finally decided to retire and become a fact-finder. The profession he has worked in until now.
"But... Who...? Why?"
Nate looks confused. If indeed Lin is the son of one of The Masters, then this actually raises many other questions.
Felix leaned his back against the sofa. Looking up, he spouted his cigar smoke into the ceiling of the room.
"How far do you know about The Masters?"
The two men in front of him looked at each other, and Nate decided to be the first to speak.
"I only know that there are 8 of them. And only they are capable of creating a V, as well as annihilating it if they wish. No one ever knew who they were, or what, and where they came from."
"It's true."
Felix jerked his cigar ashes at the ashtray, and only realized that the cigar's trunk was only half over. Sighing in his sad breath, he sucked it back.
His bright blue eyes instead looked at Marcus. "If you? What do you know?"
"My age and Master are almost the same. I also only know to that extent."
Felix nodded his head. Putting his cigar in the ashtray, the man grabbed his wine glass and downed it a little.
Raising his tall glass, he alternately looked at Nate and Marcus from behind the glass.
"The information you know is correct. But less accurate."
Nate and Marcus waited for the man in front of them to continue.
"The current number of The Masters is only 5 people. Two of them are dying because their age will soon run out on this earth."
This made the two men in front of him shocked. Nate and Marcus felt their hearts start pounding strongly. Is one of them their Master?
Able to feel the anxiety of the two people in front of him, Felix smiled obliquely.
"One of them is the one who created you both."
This surprise made Nate clench both of his hands. He recalled his last meeting with the old man.
"I can't say it directly because it's a code of conduct, but..."
Felix glanced at Nate who was beside him.
"The seed of him produced an Alina Johan."
