Madness

Madness
Chapter 57's

Two days later.

Nate watched his wife and Johan hugged each other tightly. They seemed to talk for a while and occasionally seemed to smile.

The man's mind was a little troubled as he had to leave his wife somehow until when. Although it was only a few days apart, but the man's heart was a little anxious. I don't know because of what.

He also lamented that he had no time to ask his wife any further questions about what she felt a few days ago, because it is too busy taking care of Johan's needs and also problems in the office that are quite time consuming.

Every time he came home, he only had time to hug Lin and they would go straight to sleep because his wife needed rest. There was no way he would force his wife to stay up late just to talk about her still-unclear anxiety.

And now, he had to wait somehow long until he had the chance to be alone with his wife and discuss his unrest these few days.

"Nathanael." Johan's voice broke the man's daydream about his wife.

"Mas-Dad."

Slowly, he approached the father-daughter and reflexively, his hands hugged his wife's waist tightly.

Johan's right hand stretched out to him, making Nate automatically shake him.

"Thank you for accepting my daughter. Please, take good care of Lin."

Nate's head nodded steadily. "Of course, dad. You don't have to worry."

Johan's left hand lifted and cupped their two hands that were still shaking tightly. The old man squeezed it quite tightly.

"Whatever happens, you must remember that this is your family, Nathanael. You have to keep them with your life's stakes."

Them?

"I'm lacking"

"Master Johan's. Everything is ready. We'd better leave now before the weather starts to fog."

Felix's words cut off Nate's question that was already at the end of his tongue, making Nate immediately forget his intentions.

Johan looked up at his son, and they embraced back.

When he took off his embrace, the old man held his two children's hands tightly.

"Alina Johan's. Thank you for being present in my life. Thank you for being my daughter. And thank you for giving me happiness. I hope you never regret being a daughter."

Both of Lin's eyes were watery and without being able to resist, the water was flowing down both of his cheeks.

"I will never regret being your daughter, Dad. I will always be proud to have been the daughter of Alexander Johan."

The old man closed both of his heated eyes. He tried not to cry in front of his son. He wanted Lin to see him leave smiling and happy.

Feelingly, Johan squeezed the two hands of his daughter who were still in his grasp.

"Remember Lin, I really love you. And now, trust your husband. He will take care of you, just like I would take care of you if I had the chance."

Daughter nodded. He slightly sobbed but his gaze looked stiff.

"Yes, dad. I know."

Johan's head nodded slowly. He doesn't want to go, but he has to go. He did not want his son to see his suffering any further.

"Dad has to go now. Please remember me as a beautiful memory, Lin."

Hearing the request, made Lin hug her father back tightly.

"Of course, dad. I will always remember you as a great memory. And you don't have to worry, there's Nate who's always gonna take care of me."

After returning his child's embrace, Johan's seat was finally pushed by Felix to enter the private plane that had been waiting for them.

Nate's hands were seen holding both of his wife's slightly shaking shoulders, and finally pulling the woman into his arms.

"Please take care of me while I'm there, Nate. Please..."

Lin squeezed her husband's back tightly. He knew he would never see his father again.

"You don't worry too much, baby. I'll look after your father while he's there."

The man's chin rests on the head of his lowered wife. He kissed his wife and inhaled her scent one last time.

The man raised Lin's head and slowly kissed his wife's lips. It was initially soft, but it then started********** with a bit of bern*fsu.

Nate took off her kiss and brought their two eyebrows together. The man gasped a little and took a deep breath.

"I'll miss you there."

Lin squeezed her husband's waist tight. She imagined the cold nights she would go through without her husband later. He was very used to the presence of the man.

"I'll miss you too."

Quickly, Nate kissed his wife's forehead and let go of his embrace. The longer he touched his wife, the harder it would be for him to leave her side.

"I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself."

As she watched her husband slowly leave her and step onto the plane, Lin suddenly called out to the man.

"Nate!"

Lin's call made Nate's step stop and he turned to his wife who was seen still in the position where he left her earlier.

"I-i"

His wife's eyes seemed to be moving in a frenzy. Slowly but surely, Nate began to be able to feel the feelings that his wife was feeling right now.

The man smiled at the still mute woman in front of him.

"I'll be right back. I love you, Lin."

His wife's cheeks look blushing. "Resome soon. I'm waiting for you."

Her husband waved at her and in an instant, the door of the plane closed in front of her.

Slowly, the plane began to move and in a short time, did take-off very smoothly in the air.

Lin's view still faithfully led to the iron bird that was taking his family to a foreign country, until the object was no longer visible.

The woman was seen holding her chest that was pounding.

"I love you, Nathanael Axelle. Go back to my side."

Lin was finally able to say those words, although she still could not do it in front of her husband.

After a while, the woman turned and steered her way to the car park at the private airport.

Up in the car, he gripped his steering tightly and his hands seemed to tremble slightly. Lin looked at the ring on his brightly shiny ring finger.

The thing that had circled his finger these few months seemed to give him even more strength. Steadily, Lin started the engine of his car and he steered it out of the airport to where it should be at this time.

Nates. I'll be waiting for you. Come home soon, baby.

While on the plane, the four people who were sitting were silent a thousand languages. Each was busy with his own thoughts, but one thing that could be seen was that the four of them looked grim-faced.

"Do you want to drink or eat, gentlemen?"

"Give me some whiskey." Marcus' hoarse voice rang out in that silence.

"Then give me your best wine."

This time the blond-haired foreign man voiced out.

The flight attendant could only smile wryly at the request of his guests. After several trips with Marcus, he was quite familiar with the habits of his big boss who always drank liquor without eating first.

Deftly, the flight attendant gave the order according to the requests of his guests.

Slowly, he turned his gaze to Nathanael and Johan who were still silent.

"What about you, gentlemen?"

He knew that the gray-eyed man in front of him was named Nathanael, but never knew why he was always by Marcus's side whenever the cold man went abroad. Meanwhile, the old man beside him had never met before.

"We both didn't drink. Thank you." Thank you."

Just this time, the flight attendant heard Nate's deep, smooth voice. During this time, the man always seemed to be silent and had only spoken to Marcus when they had been left in a condition of just the two.

The man's polite and dignified voice, made the stewardess' cheeks slightly reddened. Although he knew that the man had married because he had seen it earlier but still, his charm made the woman blush in shame.

"Good Sir. Then, excuse me first."

Slowly, the woman moved her legs towards the cockpit and closed the door tightly. He sat behind the pilot and the co-pilot who was busy watching the screen and also the view in front of him.

The woman's breath made the co-pilot slightly avert his gaze.

"Why, Stace?"

"I really don't understand John, why I should be on this flight. Every time I go with Mr. Marcus, I don't have a job."

The co-pilot called John just laughed, which was greeted with the laughter of the pilot beside him. They have both worked for more than 5 years under Marcus and this happens every time a new flight attendant/hostess is assigned.

"Don't think too much, Stace. The important thing is, you just have to do your job."

"Oh yeah, do you know who the guy who's always been next to Mr. Marcus is? The guy named Nathanael?"

This sudden change in topic, made the two men in front of him seem speechless.

"Actually, I don't know Stace either. I've been working with Mr. Marcus for over 5 years, and I don't know anything about him other than his name either."

Stacey crossed her arms in front of her chest, her forehead wrinkled deeply.

"That's weird. What about you, Captain Kevin? Do you know anything about that guy?"

The older man called Kevin looked silent. When it finally made a sound, the man's reply slightly surprised the two younger people beside him.

"It would be better if you didn't ask anything about the man. And if you still want to keep working here, don't even try to find out about him."

"Why, Captain? If I could ask a little?"

John finally emboldened himself to speak his mind, which had actually plagued him these past 5 years.

Captain Kevin took a deep breath. He has worked for 8 years at NAMAC Inc. and has been in the profession for more than 15 years. And as long as he works, this is the only time that there is a company that really appreciates his hard work.

On the other hand, as time went on, he also realized that he would bring many important guests and perhaps secrets, which he could not tell others. And it's his job to be able to give this briefing to his crew every time they fly.

"I thought you understood the risks of this job, especially John, who has been doing it for over 5 years."

"You can't get me wrong, Captain. I take this job seriously. But that doesn't mean I can close my eyes to everything that's going on on this plane. And to be honest, I'm also quite curious about your words earlier, Captain."

"I told you earlier, you'd better-"

Captain Kevin's words were interrupted when suddenly there was a loud knock on the cockpit door that made the three shocked. The knock sounded furious.

Stacey immediately opened the cockpit door and saw the rigid figure of Marcus, standing quietly in front of them.

The man's face was extremely cold and his eyes slowly led to Captain Kevin sitting frozen in place.

"Is there a problem, Kevin?"

Marcus's hoarse and heavy voice, for some reason caused a gripping atmosphere in the very narrow room.

"Ti-no problem, Mr. Marcus."

The man's brown eyes turned towards John who was seen beginning to break out in cold sweat, and also Stacey who looked slightly trembling. The cold man turned his gaze back to Captain Kevin.

"good. Because as far as I know, we're going through Bergen. If there is a problem, then it is better to leave it there. Youunderstand?"

"Ba-good sir. I understand and understand."

After giving a sharp look and also an intimidating aura, Marcus slammed the cockpit door in front of the three.

"W-what was that?" Stacey was trembling in her establishment. Just this time he saw Marcus was angry.

"I told you, you better just focus on your job if you don't want to lose this job. Anyone who asks like this will never again be included on this exclusive flight. Do you want to end up like that?"

The two younger members of his team were well aware that the income they earned from this job was three times that of their typical job. Of course they will not want to lose this income.

Moreover, this work is halal and does not violate the law. They are only required to keep their confidentiality and their mouths.

Doldrumsily, Stacey returned to her original sitting position.

"sorry. I'll never question this again."

"I also. I'm sorry, Captain."

"You're wrong. The decision is not in my hands. If you know, the decision to include or not a crew member is from that man named Nathanael. So, never mess with her, let alone ask anything about her."

The information left the two people speechless a thousand languages. They also anxiously awaited the fate of those who are currently on the edge of the horn.

Meanwhile inside the cabin, Marcus had been sitting in front of his superior.

"You can rest easy, sir."

"Thank you, Marc."

Felix exhaled loudly and shook his head.

"I'm really surprised by this ability of yours that seems useless, Nate."

"Don't insult her, Felix. Nathanael's abilities were very useful while he was on the battlefield. Unlike you, he was able to finish off his opponent with just a single slash without having to see it clearly."

Johan's clear words defending Nate left Felix speechless, and published a satisfied smile on Marcus' lips.

After which, the four men calmly enjoyed the rest of their journey.

While noticing the dark scene in his window, Nate regretted that he could not use his abilities while in Felix's building.

The man did deliberately make the building very sturdy and can eliminate the possibility of the use of the abilities of the V are quite varied.

This made it difficult for Nate to listen to the conversation between his wife and Johan a few days ago, making him very curious and confused at this time.

Upon his return from this trip, the man was determined to immediately complete his curiosity later when he met his wife again.
