"Nathanael hasn't regained consciousness?"
Dominic's head shook slowly.
I heard Laurent breathing. That handsome guy looks sad.
"He's a good boy. Unfortunately, no one ever knows when a person can wake up from his hibernation sleep, when he is deprived of blood."
The words made Dominic nod and look grim.
Before long, Dominic's head was seen wailing in the spacious room.
"What are you looking for, Dominic?"
Laurent looked at the young man in front of him with his white eyes. The handsome man's expression was illegible.
"Oh! No. gabe. Nothing, Master."
Chuckling softly, Laurent threw his gaze out the window.
"If you're looking for Felix, he's not around right now."
Dominic's eyes blinked quickly. "Where did he go?"
Laurent's head turned and looked at Dominic with a slanted smile.
"You think?"
One of Dominic's hands patted his own forehead. "Rosaline?"
In response, Laurent nodded. The handsome man again set his eyes out the window.
"It seems that right now, Felix has already set his heart."
"I hope so too, Master. Because I'm getting tired of hearing that he thinks of her as just his best friend for over 300 years. What kind of shit is that?"
The handsome man turned his face back towards Dominic.
"You don't believe in any friendship between a man and a woman at all, Dominic?"
Chuckling, Dominic shook his head firmly.
"There is absolutely no male-female friendship in my dictionary, Master. Among men, there is only such a thing as the need to complete their respective n*fsu."
"What about Nathanael? Isn't he your best friend?"
"Nathanael? What does this have to do with Nate?"
"I heard from Alexander that when Nathanael and his wife made a relationship from friendship first, only then did he finally ask her to marry him. Is it really just n*fsu?"
"Nate was like that because it was only this time that she felt what it was that her name could have a woman. During his life, he was bound by rules. He has absolutely no right to choose anything in his life without the consent of his family."
Dominic's words make Laurent fall apart. The man held his chin and looked seriously thinking.
"I don't think it's like that. I don't agree with you. If that's the case, then his wife has the right to reject him."
The handsome man raised his head and smiled sinisterly at Dominic.
"Nathanael married his first wife because of family obligations. But their families were quite harmonious at the time. How can you explain that, Dominic?"
Dominic's two eyes blinked quickly at the rebuttal.
"How do you know about that?"
"Do you think the Masters don't gossip about each other?"
"But it still cannot prove there is a platonic relationship between a man and a woman, Master. I still do not believe it and consider it just a myth."
Hearing that, Laurent smiled wisely.
"I never said that a friendship between a man and a woman would not lead to anything else, Dominic. I just want to make it clear, if not forever the male-female relationship only revolves around the satisfaction of mere n*fsu. You know the story of my own people, don't you?"
Dominic's lips sneered at Laurent arguing with him about this.
"It doesn't seem fair to compare something that's clearly different, Master."
Laurent chuckled again. This child is unique and stubborn. Despite coming from the nobility, the man tended to be a delinquent making him accustomed to living freely and without rules.
"Then, what about Celine herself? Did you marry her just because of n*fsu back then?"
That question left Dominic this time speechless in a thousand languages.
"Now answer me, Dominic. Why haven't you married again so far? You're now opening a cake shop and delivering cake orders to your own former company. You're also busy taking care of your great-grandparents to manage the company."
Laurent's body leaned into his chair. The man smiled gently.
"It proves Dominic, if in a man-woman relationship there is not only n*fsu. There's something bigger than that. There is such a thing as love, and love also takes many forms. Do you want to deny it now?"
"I don't deny it, Master. But if it's about Felix-"
"Well, as you know. Felix's life has been more adventurous than yours, Dominic. He has felt it all, if you understand what I mean."
"Ughh! Hearing him back makes me so disgusted! Rosaline know?"
"Rosaline was the only person who knew her inside out. It would be foolish for Felix to let go of that woman."
"I feel sorry for him."
Laurent laughed loudly at that. Despite living freely, the handsome man knows that Dominic is unable to accept anything beyond the norms that already exist.
"But you see for yourself, Felix was willing to give up his pride just for someone's sake. Which even someone has not at all."
Dominic's two eyebrows furrowed. "I mean Master?"
"A few days ago, Felix handed over ownership of the Onyx club to a human. He sold it, and sold it at a very cheap price. He didn't care at all whether the club was going to be destroyed or not."
Dominic's mouth gaped wide at this shocking news. Club Onyx was one of the blondes' pride all along.
"You better keep your mouth shut, Dominic. Otherwise, you can suck out the dust in this room."
Those words made Dominic instantly shut his mouth. Until now, he was still unfamiliar with the fact that his Master was a blind man. If the blind can see, Dominic will believe.
"But why did he sell it? Isn't that guy really proud of that club?"
"Felix sold it because Rosaline hated such a place. She never said it in person, but Felix knew. What do you think Felix did for Rosaline indicates what feelings?"
Dominic was silent, but for a long time the man chuckled and leaned his body on the sofa.
"Welcome to the club. It seems like that person has indeed fallen into the same hole as me and Nathanael, Master."
Laurent also laughed at Dominic's words.
"Finally you want to admit it, Dominic. I just want to hear that from you."
"I admit defeat, Master. But, just this time."
Somewhere in the Lofoten Islands.
There was a pair of men and women standing in front of the old church building on the hills. A breeze blew the falling flower petals. Spring is coming on the islands.
"What are you doing here, Felix? Didn't I tell you we didn't have to see each other again forever?"
The man's head was lowered deeply. He seemed to take a deep breath before finally looking at the beautiful woman again.
"Do you still remember Nathanael?"
Benak Rosaline recalled the figure of a handsome man with black hair and gray eyes.
"Yes. He's a very handsome and charismatic man. How can I forget-"
"Yes. Yep. I know he's handsome. But that's not what I want to talk to you about."
Hearing Felix's irritated voice, Rosaline bit her lips slightly. He tried to hold back his laughter.
"Don't bite your lips like that. You can bleed later."
Both of them were silent in that position. Seeing Felix still glued to his mouth, Rosaline immediately retreated backwards.
"What exactly do you want to say about Nathanael, Felix?"
Felix opened his eyes. The man was fascinated with Rosaline's lips. He almost kissed the woman back without her permission.
"Yes... About Nathanael. He had drained his blood to the point of being drained, and was currently hibernating for some time."
The information made Rosaline's head turn quickly at Felix.
"Draining his blood to the ground? What's for?"
Quite rarely do the Vs want to drain their blood to the end. Although it is one way to die, but no one can guarantee that death will definitely come to pick up in the right time and place.
Some Vs who do this will usually ask their partners to drain their blood and leave it in a completely safe location.
It would be very dangerous if their bodies were found by irresponsible humans. Not to mention the time of death that was not at all clear.
If they are lucky, they will die according to their age. But for the unlucky, they will wake up in a different era and make them have to adapt again to a new life. Things that torture their lives even more.
After all, the way of death by draining blood is a way that is considered not elegant and cowardly among the Vs. Because they choose to die when they are unconscious.
Rosaline had absolutely no idea why Felix had suddenly brought up this matter.
"To help his wife. The woman needs a fair amount of blood because she's losing a lot of blood."
Both Rosaline's eyebrows furrowed deeply. There is something strange in the information that Felix conveyed.
"I still don't"
Knowing the thing Rosaline was going to ask, made the man cut her off immediately.
"the essence. Nathanael has now been in hibernation sleep for almost 6 months, and has not woken up to this point."
"What does this have to do with you telling me this? I don't even know Nathanael very well, let alone his wife."
The woman was a little irritated at the moment for not understanding Felix's intentions. He crossed both arms in front of his chest.
Felix looked at Rosaline and approached her. He stopped when the distance was only a short distance from the woman.
"I'm less than 200 years away. I don't want to waste my remaining time just lying and waiting for my death, just like Nathanael is today."
Rosaline looked at the man in front of her sharply.
"What do you want, Felix?"
The man is seen taking out a small box and showing a ring inside.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with someone who means something to me. It's only been a while, but I want to feel what it's like to be loved and loved. Will you marry me, Rosaline?"
Felix's words made Rosaline's eyes glaze over. His heart was again in pain.
"You don't love me at all, Felix. You're hurting me again right now."
The woman turned around and was about to leave, when her shoulder was held by the man behind her.
He felt the back of his head being kissed by the man, making him close his eyes tightly.
"I'm sorry, Ine. I'm sorry I hurt you all this time. Forgive my stupidity that took me 300 years to realize my own feelings."
"I don't understand what you mean."
"I love you."
The woman's gaze was pointing forward. To the vast ocean before him. The tears she held back finally melted on her cheeks.
"When did you realize it?"
"On a rainy night, when you finally accepted my refusal. I'm sorry."
"Nearly a year ago. And you just came in now?"
Both of Felix's hands moved slowly to hug the woman's shoulders. He hugged her tightly and lowered his head on one of Rosaline's shoulders. The woman could feel the water droplets on her neck.
"I'm scared. I'm afraid that you'll reject me, like I've rejected you before."
Taking a deep breath, the woman turned to face Felix.
He could see both of the men's eyes were wet. Just this time, he saw the man crying. Felix is a self-respecting and manipulative man. He will never show his true feelings in front of others.
But Rosaline could see the earnestness of the two men's eyes. And there's no point in Felix lying to him. Moreover, the man had rejected it first.
The woman held out one of her hands before the man.
A little confused, Felix's fingers automatically held Rosaline's fingertips.
"You don't want to put a ring on me?"
Closing his eyes, Felix immediately took out his ring back and attached it to Rosaline's ring finger. He did not want the woman to suddenly change her mind.
Raising her head, Rosaline asked the silent man again.
"You don't want to kiss me?"
Felix's gaze looked astonished at this moment.
"Can I kiss you now?"
"Of course you should kiss me. But you have to marry me first if you want to do anything else."
Finally the man laughed happily, making his face look very handsome. Both of his hands hugged the woman's slender waist and held her tightly in his arms.
Looking back at the woman, Felix smiled gently. His hand touched Rosaline's smooth cheek.
"I love you, Ine. As a friend. As a woman. Be my life partner, until I die."
The words of love from Felix made Rosaline blush in embarrassment.
"I love you too, Felixander Osborne. Although you're a bitch, but you're the only man who can make my life more colorful."
Felix's hand rubbed Rosaline's cheek gently, and the man slowly kissed her very gently. The two kissed with love and affection.
Felix took off Rosaline's cheek and clasped her hands together. Both smiling. With her hands together, Rosaline stared timidly at the man in front of her.
"Can I kiss you again?"
Chuckling softly, Felix nodded. "You can kiss me anytime, Ine."
Slightly in disdain, Rosaline pulled the blond hair of the man over and immediately kissed him aggressively. Rosaline's mouth danced within Felix's mouth, making the man stutter and only able to keep up with the woman.
When their mouths finally came off, Felix looked at Rosaline with nanar. A slight look of heartache in both of his eyes.
"Where did you learn to kiss like that?" The man asked slowly.
Rosaline smiled shyly. "You kissed me like that, if you remember."
Felix fell silent and he finally remembered the two's unpleasant farewell at the airport, before the man returned home.
Rosaline's two hands wrapped around Felix's slender waist. The woman was a little embarrassed when she spoke back.
"Actually many of your stories, which makes me often imagine to try it with you. Just with you."
The woman's words made Felix's heart pound wildly and his breath began to hunt. Roughly, the man pulled Rosaline's hand and dragged her down from the hill.
"Where are you taking me, Felix?"
"I have an acquaintance of Pastor V in Lofoten. We should get married today, Ine!"
Laughing, Rosaline embraced the man's arm and the two were seen running slightly down the hill. Their steps felt much lighter than before when riding it.
The old church that stood towering over the hills, bore witness to the love of the two of them.
The relationship that originally started with friendship, eventually blossomed and became a deep sense of love between the two.
