"What are you going to do to me?" shouted a beautiful woman who was wearing a wedding dress but was tied to a chair.

The woman was Marien Douglas and she was the second daughter of Gavin Douglas. Marien is the daughter of Gavin's second wife but her mother is dead. Although his life was quite good together with his family but what he was going through at the moment made him quite surprised.

"You must get married!" the word was like a thunderbolt in broad daylight to Marien Douglas and it was uttered by his own brother.

Marien stared intently at a woman standing before him and she was Alexa Douglas, the eldest daughter of Gavin Douglas. For some reason, Alexa kidnaps him and takes him to a strange place. But what made him not understand the most was his condition that was being bound and the words that had just been spoken by his brother.

"What do you mean by this, Alexa?" marien did not understand.

"You should marry Zack Erson, take my place!" answer Alexa.

"What did you say?" cry Marien. He seemed to be in disbelief at what he had just heard.

"Don't joke, Alexa. He's your future husband?" screeches again.

"I changed my mind, Marien. I don't want to marry her anymore, so you have to replace me!"

"Stop your bullshit, I don't want to marry Zack!"

"You should get married, so don't expect you to escape!"

"You're crazy, Alexa. You're supposed to be married to Zack, not me!" marien shouted but Alexa did not care about herself and preferred to step away to get out of the room.

"Stop, Alexa. Let go of me and stop this wedding drama you're playing!' shout Marien.

"Thank you for your fate, Marien.You'll have to replace me otherwise Daddy's company will be destroyed by Zack!" said Alexa. The marriage was deliberately arranged, he agreed to marry Zack because the marriage was to trap Marien. She was unwilling to marry Zack, the old man who possessed many of those treasures.

"Take me off, Alexa. Unhand me!" shout Marien.

Marien tried to rebel, so that the rope that tied his hands and feet could be removed. The chair he was sitting on was lifted with the strength he had. He must untie her so she can escape before Alexa gets back together with Zack and marries them both.

No matter where he is, he doesn't know. A man's suit was on top of the sofa, it looked like it belonged to Zack. Marien continued to lift the chair though painstakingly towards a table. He couldn't believe there were no scissors in that desk drawer.

The voices of the people talking out there stopped Marien for a moment, lest anyone hear so that anyone goes inside and knows what he is doing. The chance he had was only one time and he should not waste that chance.

Ears were in fine tides and after not hearing anything else, Merien again lifted the chair until he finally arrived at the desk drawer. The struggle he did was not easy even though he had gotten scissors but the effort he did was not in vain.

Marien was freed from the ropes that bound her hands and feet, it was time to leave. The suit that was on the sofa was taken and worn and after that, Marien walked out of the room and ran away from it. Don't let him get caught because he knows what's going to happen to him. That suit really brings good luck because inside it is a check sheet containing a million dollars. Of course it was an advantage that he should not waste because with that check he could start his life without the need to return to the Douglas family home.

Marien who kept running while looking back could not dodge when a man in a wheelchair was suddenly pushed out of a room without feeling. Marien shouted, the man was surprised and tried to catch Marien's body that fell towards him but was too late. The two of them fell to the floor, and laughter rang out from inside the room.

"Good God, I'm sorry!" Marien moves in a hurry and helps the foreign man she just hit.

"Are you okay?" marien asked, but the man did not answer. Both hands clenched tightly and the look of his face seemed to wipe.

"You're just trash, William? Look at you now?" a woman shouted from inside the room.

"He's just a useless paralyzed man!" someone shouted that too.

Marien looked at the man who was being insulted and silent, honestly he did not know anything but he was sorry let alone a woman who had shouted back said with a painful speech.

"You're just a loser, I don't need a disabled man like you anymore because I've got a much better replacement for you!" that woman is Fiona, she is the lover of that man named William. Fiona approached a handsome man, she looked so arrogant as well.

"I don't need you anymore because I already have him and this?" a ring box was thrown and landed on William's face, "I would not marry a disabled man like you and I don't think there would be a single woman who would marry you!" said insulting.

Laughter was heard again, William was silent. William Archiles got into an accident just a moment ago that left him paralyzed. Fiona does not know the circumstances therefore, William decided to come to his girlfriend's birthday event to surprise Fiona and show the condition of her legs. He wanted to see if Fiona was still willing to be with him or not after the circumstances of his two legs which he could not use anymore but what he got was really beyond belief. The rejection and humiliation he had to get due to both of his legs being deformed and not only that, it turns out Fiona was cheating behind him all this time without him knowing. Everything was revealed after he suffered paralysis.

"I'll marry him!" marien's screams shocked William.

Marien's shout stopped everyone's laughter. Marien came forward and stood before William, he was fed up with everything that was happening. He thought that only he was having bad luck but he did not expect, there was something more unlucky than him. William's gaze could not be separated from Marien's back, I don't know who the woman who must have arrived was really unexpected.

"All of you in the room, stop laughing at other people just because they're disabled. I hope you guys don't sit in chairs later. For the humiliation you threw," Marien pointed towards Fiona, "Don't regret what you said because I'm the one who's getting married to her!" said again.

William smiled, interesting. He had not expected to get a shock like this other than the shock of Fiona's betrayal as well as the humiliation from her. Marien stepped closer to William and took William away from the place but after quite a distance, Marien stopped his steps and let out a long sigh.

Is he crazy? He was unfamiliar with the stranger but it seemed like he could get the man to work together for their respective purposes.

"I'm sorry if I'm so presumptuous, I just can't stand to see you being insulted like that!" said it.

"It doesn't matter, but can you explain to me what you just said?"

"Listen," Marien who was behind William stepped forward and stood before the man. William looked at her with a serious expression, a foreign woman who was quite brave.

"I just ran away from a marriage I didn't want and you just got a humiliation. What if we get married?" ask Marien.

"Why did I marry you?" ask William.

"Hey, man. You've just been insulted and you'll be even more humiliated if you don't marry me. Let's make a deal, marry me, then I'll give you this one-million-dollar check and be my husband for a year" Marien gave the check she found in the suit., "This check will be yours!" said again.

William smiled again, the check given by Marien was taken. Interestingly, he did not expect the day he would be paid to finally come and he felt that what the woman said was very true. She will avenge what Fiona did to her regardless their marriage won't take long.

"If so, I won't doubt if you'll marry this disabled man" William said.

"It's good to hear that, William. I'm Marien" Marien stepped back after introducing himself and pushed William away. The problem is solved and Alexa, will not be able to force her to marry Zack because from the beginning she did not want the marriage.
