There's Still a Hurdle

Marien and William's marriage went well. They greet guests in turns. The day they won't forget, they even remember when they agreed to get married. It was all done by lightning not even for an hour but now, they were really enjoying their wedding.

Marriage witnessed by families and many people turned out to feel different than marrying secretly. The two of them went around to greet the guests until Marien felt both her legs start to ache due to the high heels she was wearing and her pretty heavy dress.

"May I sit for a minute?" pinta Marien at William when they had just finished talking to the two businessmen who congratulated them.

"Did your leg hurt?" without waiting for long, William had already crouched down to look at Marien's feet.

"Will, not here!" pinta Marien while looking around.

"Your ankles are flushed, honey. Let's take a break!" William moved and carried Marien.

Marien was startled and almost squealed, this was the first time William had held her after both legs had healed. Marien wrapped both of her hands around William's neck quickly. Suddenly he became nervous in fear of the two of them crashing down.

"Will, your leg?"

"I told you, didn't I? I'll carry you on our wedding day!"

"But are you sure it's safe for both of your legs that haven't healed long? Don't let it be after carrying this heavy me, your legs are back in pain!"

"Of course not, Marien. Trust me, both my legs have healed a hundred percent."

"I'm glad to hear that, Will. It seems like from now on I can ask you to carry me every day," Marien joked.

"It's with pleasure, dear. Now sitting here, I'm gonna squint your ankles!"

"Thanks, Will," Marien smiled as William lowered him down on the sofa. William crouched down again, to see Marien's legs reddened by the sandals he was wearing. Marien's ankle was massaged slowly until Marien felt soreness in her legs reduced.

"Will, I'm curious about one thing" said Marrien.

"What's? Don't tell me you're curious about a man!"

"Isn't that right, your sister?" Marien looked towards Samuel who was talking to Jacob and Edward.

"Oh, my sister is a janitor, so she's like that."

"Oh," Marien replied while nodding. She deserves her sister-in-law to look a little weird. He heard it but he was curious.

"You want to join them?" ask William.

"May, but I'm thirsty. Can you get me some water for a minute?" marien Pinta.

"As you wish, dear," William kissed his forehead before he left, "Wait here all right!" her door.

Marien nodded and smiled, William had already gone to fetch some water for him and after he left not long, someone approached Marien.

"May I have a minute, Mrs Archiles?"

"I'm Becky, it's not the right time to discuss this but I'm eager to discuss business with Mrs Archiles. Do you have time to talk to me together?" ask that woman named Becky.

"Of course, Miss. But you know this is not the right time. You can call my secretary later to discuss it further" Marien said. She couldn't possibly refuse much less Becky was an invited guest and it was likely that she was one of her father-in-law's colleagues.

"Good to hear it, I'll make an appointment with your secretary soon!" becky said.

Marien nodded, his company still needed many business partners and he had to take advantage of the situation let alone offer cooperation and he did not have to bother looking for entrepreneurs who would cooperate with him.

William, who had returned with a glass of drinking water, was astonished to find his wife talking to someone very foreign and unknown to him. I don't know what they're talking about, which is for sure they look very serious but the woman who talked to Marien just left as William got closer.

Marien smiled like there was nothing wrong and indeed nothing because he and the woman named Becky were really talking about a pretty interesting business.

"Who was that woman, Marien?" william asked while giving Marien the drinking water he wanted.

"He was one of your father's business partners and he said he wanted to do business with me."

"Oh, yeah? From which company?" william asked a little suspiciously. Although the invited are business partners but not all must be trusted but when Marien mentions the name of a company, the feeling of the curse disappears because he knows the company that Marien said.

After Marien finished drinking. William invites Marien to join his family. Since they had already met, Marien had a close conversation. No one ostracized him or looked at him with one eye even though the only one present at his wedding was the father who was busy looking for the face of some businessmen who were there.

The wedding party went pretty well. Marien has changed clothes. Now her body is wrapped in a beautiful evening dress. Marien and William were on the dance floor to enjoy their time. All are busy to enjoy their time as well as the bride and groom in the spotlight. Some cameras took photos of the two of them but one of the people who took their photos was suspect but no one suspected let alone all who came were exclusive guests.

Together with the others, Marien and William enjoyed the first dance they did after they got married.The two of them looked at each other with smiles adorning their faces, today Marien is really happy because she never expected to get that amazing marriage.

"Thank you, Will. I didn't expect to get a marriage like this."

"You deserve it, honey. Even I feel like what I'm giving you right now isn't enough for you to be too good for me. If you remember our relationship back then, you were the amazing woman I got!" said William.

"And you were my perfect handicapped husband back then!" marien.

"really?" asked William who did not believe Marien considered it perfect when he was experiencing paralysis and considered a loser.

"Yes, you're like that to me."

"See, how lucky I am. When I was considered a loser, you thought I was different!"

"They don't know you, that's why they think you are!"

"I don't regret selling myself to you back then" William said.

"Stts, you can be considered a gi*golo!" Marien looked around, afraid that anyone would hear. William chuckled and stopped his steps. The two of them looked at each other, their expressions indicating that they were both very happy.

"I love you, Marien" said William.

"Me too," Merien reciprocates her love interest before William kisses her lips. The two kissed long enough on the dance floor before they went back to dancing. A beautiful relationship and a very happy day but there are still obstacles that they have to pass because a plan has been made for Marien and of course it is not a good plan.
