Alexa was ready with the beautiful dress she had. Tonight she is the star even though she has to marry an old man. The servants in the Douglas family residence seemed busy preparing a banquet to be enjoyed later.

"Well, Zack knows best what Daddy wants. Let's see, Marien and her husband will definitely come empty-handed because they won't be able to afford anything!"

"No need to compare, Marien's husband won't be able to afford it because he doesn't have any money so don't make a fuss!" said father.

"You look amazing, Marien. Unfortunately I can't buy you a necklace to perfect your performance tonight" William said.

I don't like it very much!" marien said reasoned. He said so that William would not feel guilty just for not being able to buy him an accessory.

"Well, next time I'll buy it for you, are you ready to go?" ask William.

"Of course," Marien smiled, of course she was already very ready to leave.

Marien pushed William out. His handbag was given to William so he could push the man away easily. They left by taking a taxi, of course Alexa was very satisfied to see it. Marien is actually married to a loser who has nothing. Alexa even waits at the door just to insult Marien.

"Fuck you two!" alexa shouted furiously. Alexa clutched her hands tightly. He did not accept the humiliation he had. He should have given them that humiliation because they were losers but why should he be insulted?

Marien had already entered the house while pushing William. His father had been waiting and showed a displeased look when he saw William. Her daughter was really stupid to marry that disabled and useless man.

"Why so long?" asked his father in a cynical tone.

"They took a taxi, how not for long!" alexa went inside.

"This is the result of marrying a crippled loser!" said father.

"Enough, if you ask us to come just to insult us then we will leave!" Both Marien's hands were already clenched, she did not like them insulting William because her husband had nothing to do with the problems that occurred between them.

"Already, Dad. They've come, pity if they come home hungry. After all for a loser like himself, he would have never enjoyed a delicious meal so just let him taste a good meal for the first time!" Alexa again hurls her humiliation for William whom she considers a poor and useless man.

"As long as you can't eat gold and diamonds then don't be too proud of yourself!" said William.

"What did you say?" Alexa looked at William sharply.

"That's enough!" yell at their father.

"Bring your husband into the kitchen, we'll eat together!" Gavin stepped away, the deformed man was truly an atmosphere-destroyer.

Marien snorted, William was pushed past Alexa who was staring at the two of them with a sharp gaze. Alexa goes to call Zack because he's not done yet. Marien was in the kitchen with William. It's a great opportunity to give the hand they brought to their father because there's no Alexa. He was lazy to hear the sneer again let alone the sneer aimed at William.

"William bought this for you, Dad," Marien gave his father a bottle of wine.

"Your sister's husband-to-be has given me wine so there's no need!" said father.

"So Daddy doesn't want to accept gifts from us?"

"Not so," the bottle of wine given by Marien was taken. Gavin saw it and he guessed it was just ordinary wine but when he saw the brand also the year of the wine, Gavin was surprised. The man looked towards Marien and William, the price of one bottle of wine was hundreds of thousands of dollars and not easily obtained then how could Marien's husband get it?

Don't tell me Marien's husband got it in debt just to get a confession out of it because even though William gave away that expensive wine, he said, she will not take their relationship for granted and she intends to separate the two of them so that Marien can marry a much better man.
