Sudden Attack

Marien prepares to go see Becky along with the assistant William assigned to look after Marien. All the files they've completed are saved because he's going to the restaurant where he's going to see Becky. Let's hope the meeting is over so he can be with William. He would study the proposal for a while and then make a decision but somehow, he felt anxious and unsettled from now on.

I don't know what she's feeling, but she feels that something is going to happen that must be unpleasant. Hopefully it's just his feelings, hopefully nothing happens that he doesn't want. The time had already shown at half-six when Marien and the assistant left the office. They have confirmed everything so they leave immediately but Marien does not forget to contact William first to give him the news.

William was still in the office when Marien contacted him. He's lazy to go home because there's no Marien. After all, he had promised to pick up Marien and take her to dinner together, so he refused to go home. A smile graced her face when she saw Marien calling her. Though they have not met for a while but he so missed his beloved wife.

"Are you done?" ask William.

"I just left, Will. I'm on the road now."

"I thought you were going home, honey. I've been dying to pick you up because I miss you so much!"

"But we haven't seen each other in hours."

"So you don't miss me?" ask William.

"Not so, I miss you too. I'm just for a second and after that, I want us to spend the night with both of us."

"Of course, I can't wait!" said William. Like Marien, she also felt a strange feeling that was difficult to express. Somehow it felt like he wanted to prevent Marien from going to see his new business partner but he knew it was Marien's chance and he didn't want to intercept Marien's move.

William felt lonely just because there was no Marien. Though usually not like that because he was always with Marien. Now that she's realized, her days are always spent with Marien even though more she spends in the office and undergoes therapy. Since they got married, Marien has really filled her day and everything they've been through feels so precious.

William was pensive, remembering the beautiful things they had been through together. Once again he would say, if he was so lucky even he would say it many times if he was a very lucky man even though he was bought by Marien.

Getting a wonderful wife is not easy and she gets it in her time of humiliation and betrayal. Every time he thought about this, he always said how lucky he was but the unpleasant feeling he had felt was not lost.

In order not to always feel that way, William does many things but the uncomfortable feeling actually makes him more agitated. The woman who was about to meet Marien, she forgot to ask what her name was. Should he find out to calm his feelings, William contacted Marien to let him know who Marien would meet.

"What's up, Will? I just arrived!"

"I just want to know, the woman you're meeting is what's her name?' ask William.

"Becky, what's wrong?"

"There's nothing, honey. I'm just asking. When you're done, call me!" said William.

"Surely, I've seen it and I'm going to finish this, '" Marien said as she had seen Becky.

The one William contacted was definitely the owner of the company because they did know each other because they had been in business long enough. The owner of the company he invited so he thought the owner of the company would know if he sent Becky.

"Mr Sharon, it's William Archiles. I'm sorry if you're interrupting your time" William said as the company's owner answered his call.

"Mr Archiles, I really didn't expect you to call me. That means you're not mad at me because I can't be at your wedding. I was wondering, lest you stop working with me!" said the man she called Sharon.

"What do you mean, Mr Sharon? Didn't you send a messenger to attend?" ask William. Now he's getting suspicious and worried.

"Mustains? I didn't do that!"

"Can you explain?" pinta William who already looked quite tense.

"I lost the invitation cartoon in the restaurant so I couldn't come. I called your father and he said no problem so I hope you don't mind my absence either."

"Wait, so you didn't send anyone to replace you to attend?"

"Not at all, Mr. Archiles. I lost that invitation card so I couldn't come because I knew I wouldn't be allowed inside."

"So you don't know Becky?" William's gone, shit.

"Becky? I don't know him and there's not one of my employees named Becky!" sharon.

"Alright, thank you Mr. Sharon!" William stepped up quickly and called Steve. He also attempts to contact Marien but is not answered and so is the assistant he sent to look after Marien. No one answered at all.

If Sharon doesn't know Becky, then Becky is someone's messenger to frame Marien. Sharon's invitation must have been stolen and the man deliberately hacked into Marien's trap. Other than Alexa, there are no other culprits.

William and Steve go to the restaurant where Marien has a meeting with Becky. They were led into a room but as soon as they entered the room, they were shocked and so were the waiters. The room was a mess, some broken bottles were on the floor. Marien's haircut was also on the sofa. Not only that, the assistant assigned to guard Marien was lying on the floor with a stab wound. Everything seems chaotic and starts to get excited but one thing is for sure, Marien is nowhere and it makes Marien angry.

"What's going on?" william asked the bodyguard of his wife who was being evacuated.

"Miss Merien was kidnapped and taken away!" the stab wound he got suddenly from behind as he and Marien walked into the room following Becky. The sudden attack made him unable to fight back to save Marien let alone so many people who were inside the room.

William walked towards the sofa and took a haircut from there. It was definitely Marien's because of the same color. The haircut in tightly clasped hands, anger filled his heart.

"Let's see them, Steve. Find me!" he said with a stifled anger. He won't forgive, he won't forgive the man who hurt Marien. Even if it's Marien's sister or anyone else, he'll send it to California if necessary.
