So Missed you

Marien had just returned after finishing meeting with the businessman he had offered to work with. The result was not immediate because he still had to pass the selection stage. It felt quite tired, it seemed like he needed warm water to stretch his muscles but he still had the responsibility of helping William take a bath.

It was quite a tiring day but he would not give up on advancing the company that William had entrusted to him. He must not disappoint William so he must show his ability. Once back, Marien was astonished that the door was still locked. The house was so dark that no one had returned.

"Will?" Marien called while turning on the light. Strange, William should have come back but why didn't he exist? Did something happen to him?

"Will, are you home?" Marien called back as he stepped into the room but William was also absent. Anxious about William's condition, Marien takes his cell phone and throws his bag on the bed.

William's cell phone rang but he didn't know it because William was still getting lectures from both his parents due to the actions he took. Marien was worried because there was no news from her husband. She was afraid that something might happen to her husband who had flaws but she didn't know where to look for William.

"Come on, where are you?" Marien contacts William again but the same thing he gets. Now he could only wait, of course, in a state of anxiety.

William who had received a lecture from his parents also entered the room. The matter of both legs is over, just hide the problem of his marriage with Marien and he believes this time will not be caught because he can invite Marien to work together.

Her phone rang again because Marien called back. William immediately replied, he forgot to tell Marien if he can't go home tonight.

"Will, are you okay?" Marien asked as soon as someone answered the call from her.

"Sure, sorry I didn't tell you."

"Oh my God, you really worry me," Marien exhaled, relieved.

"I'm sorry, Marien. I don't mean to worry you, but something unexpected happens."

"What's wrong? Did that woman come back and kidnap you and force you? Or are you being bullied by thugs? Tell me, I'll bring an army to look for you!"

William chuckled, what is this? Why is Marien like a hero protecting her?

"Hey, Miss. I'm not that weak. Anyway I wouldn't be able to answer a call from you if I was being held hostage."

"All right, you're right. So what's going on, aren't you coming home tonight?" he was calm after hearing William's voice.

"Yeah, apparently. You don't mind 'cause no one's hugging you tonight, do you?"

"Hm, te-of course!" answer Marien.

"Darguably, I don't think I can sleep without hugging you tonight!"

"Don't fight! Now tell me, what happened?"

"It's a bit of a problem because my parents have returned" William replied.

"Then? Did they scold you?"

"Yeah, all this time they didn't know about the state of my legs. They're mad at me, my dad won't even talk to me but everything's over."

"Then what about our marriage" she suddenly wanted to know how about their marriage.

"It depends on you, Marien. I'll just follow your game."

"What do you mean?" marien did not understand.

"Tomorrow to meet me at a regular restaurant. I want to talk to you about this."

"Can't you go home? I'd rather we talk at home so no one knows about this because it's a personal matter that no one should know about. I'm just afraid someone's heard our conversation and our secret is both exposed. Don't let my dad know about the contract marriage we're going through," do not let his father know especially Alexa because if they know then his father will certainly pull it home and sell it to other men who can give a profit. If that happens, then all that he did was in vain.

"Well, I'll listen to my wife but you're home, right? Have you eaten yet?"

"Of course, I've been back since."

"Let's go, I have to wait for that. Just pray I can get it."

"Sure, I'm sure you can. If you don't get it there's still another chance for you so don't give up."

"Thanks, Will's. I'll prove to you that I have the ability to advance that company!"

"I believe you, Marien. Suddenly I miss you" said William.

"Oh, yeah? Aren't you flirting with me?"

"Of course not, ever since I knew me I've become used to your existence and now, it feels strange that there is no you!"

Marien smiled, his gaze already turned towards the bed where William usually sat there while playing his phone but tonight the man was not around and it felt a little different. Does he miss William too?

"William's out for a second. Mommy wants to talk!"  Silvia called her son because there was something they had not discussed.

"My mom called, we've had a minute. I'll be home tomorrow morning before I go to the office."

"All right, I'll wait!"

"I turned it off" said William, but he refused to do so.

"Yeah, just turn it off!" Marien was reluctant. The two of them remained silent until a call from his mother left William with no choice but to end their conversation.

"Don't sleep too late. My mother called!" after saying so, inevitably William had to end their conversation.

Marien looked at her phone, why does it feel so heavy? They are only husband and wife who are under contract so do not let him take their relationship too seriously. William has a personal life and he has no right to interfere in William's personal life.

William had already opened the door where his mother had been waiting. One thing William forgot, he said he already had a nurse who could help him but where? His mother did not see the nurse.

"What's up, Mom?"

"You said someone took care of you, where? Mommy didn't see it!" said mother.

"Because there's business, he can't come so?"

"What-What the hell is that?" interrupted his mother in a displeased tone, "You need a twenty-four hour nurse to help you do your thing so don't mess with this. Mommy will be looking for an experienced nurse so don't argue!"

"Mom, I told you I already have. I don't need any more. The nurse I had was much better than any nurse so Mommy didn't have to bother but listen to what I said" William grabbed his mother's hands.

"I'm currently disguising myself as an ordinary person for a purpose, I was planning on taking everything I had given Fiona so I would rarely go home until I avenged Fiona!"

"Why should that be, William? Why are you disguised as a commoner?" ask her mother suspiciously.

"I don't want to be cheated again for a second time, Mom. I wanted to be a regular person so I could find a woman who really liked me, not my money anymore. So Mommy wouldn't mind me staying outside for a second, would she? I want to see if anyone wants to be with me who doesn't have anything and with my circumstances like this," although she is married to Marien who is sincere but their marriage is a marriage of kotrak and sincerity that Marien showed could be based on the contract they have agreed.

"Alright, this time Mommy hopes you find the right woman but you have to come back every once in a while to let Mommy know how you are. Don't forget to find a doctor to heal your feet. Mommy will support what you're doing and look for a woman who's much better than Fiona!"

"Thank you, Mom. I'll do it!"

"Now rest, Mommy will persuade your Daddy who is on strike!"

"Thanks, Mommy. I'm sorry I hid my situation!"

"Here you go, get some rest!" Silvia steps away, if her son wants to live to be an ordinary person to get better then he will be supportive but really without her knowing, she will be, William really has found someone sincere but they both still need time.
