Marien's Offer And Gift

William has arrived at the restaurant, this time William rented a private room so that no one would interfere with his friendship with Marien. He didn't want anyone to know what he was going to give Marien. It will be a secret for both of them.

Marien who is not excited because of Alexa is already outside. A restaurant employee escorted him to the room where William was waiting. William's eyes could not be separated from Marien who stepped over and looked lethargic.

"Hy," Marien greeted as she sat on the chair as a restaurant employee pulled up a chair for her.

"What's wrong with you? Why do you look so lethargic and uninspired like that?" ask William.

"Nothing, have you been waiting for me?" Marien tried to smile, the problem he was having should not involve anyone.

"Have something unpleasant happened?" William was completely suspicious of the attitude shown by Marien.

"Nothing, really. You should've known what happened to me today."

"Well, don't be sad just for not getting a job. Come here!" william's orders while extending a hand.

Marien moved on, he only realized that they were in a private room right now. Marien looked around and after that he looked towards William.

"Why did you rent a room just for the two of us?" tanyakanya. It's a waste, William shouldn't have done it.

"I want us to talk in private, so I rented this place for you."

"But this is a waste, William."

"Don't think about it, sit with me!" William re-ruled.

Marien sat down at William's side slowly, a smile again adorning his face. William grabbed Marien's hand and held it. Even a gentle swipe he gave, Marien lowered her head, she felt guilty. William looked at her with an astonished expression, he was sure there must be something going on with Marien but Marien was unwilling to say it.

"I hope you always tell me, no matter what," William said.

Marien looked at him, he really felt guilty but he still doubted whether he should say that to William or not. Their relationship is coming to an end next year but the one year they are going to have is very tough.

"I know, you said you wanted to give me a gift. Where's?" Marien tried to shift the conversation.

"What if we eat first before I show you the gift I'm going to give you?"

"Maybe, we eat first. I happen to be hungry!" marien.

William called the waiter, then ordered the food they would enjoy. Marien tries to smile to hide what he is thinking but even so, William remains suspicious because Marien is sometimes pensive while looking at the food on the plate.

"Why is the food bad?" ask William.

"No, it's not like that!"

"Then why don't you look like that?"

"I didn't?"

"Do I want to hug?" William interrupts Marien's words of course Marien is surprised by what William has to offer. Both of his eyes even glared at William. Fortunately he was not eating because he was sure all the food in his mouth would be spewed out all.

"No need to be surprised like that, come here if you want!" William had already extended his hand towards Marien.

"Is this a new method of flirting with women?"

"Let's see, I teased my own wife so I don't think there's any harm" William still stretched out his hand. Marien moved on, rather than dizzy at the thought of the Alexa threat better she enjoyed her time together with her husband one year.

Marien welcomes William's hand and sits on William's lap slowly. Suddenly he felt strange and awkward. Marien tried to smile though awkwardly and as William offered, the man hugged her.

"I was just kidding but you really did!" said William.

"What?" Marien was surprised, he wanted to move but William held him back.

"I'm just kidding!" said again.

"Hey, why are you always joking?"

"Now, is it better?" William rubbed Marien's head slowly, he hoped Marien would share it with him after this.

"Sorry for what and thank you for what?"

"Thank you for comforting me and sorry, I messed up tonight!"

"So, are you going to share with me and tell me what's going on?"

Marien sighed, she was reluctant to tell William that, but they promised her grief would always be together. Maybe William has a solution to this so that he does not get dizzy himself.

"I don't really want you involved, William."

"You've said it a few times and I've told you not to worry."

"I know and I trust you but I don't know what to do now. On the other hand I don't want to involve you and get you in trouble but on the other hand I don't want to destroy myself!"

"What'sthis? Why don't I understand?" William rubbed Marien's face slowly, "Tell me what you mean?" ask again.

"Alexa just came to the house and gave me two choices" she finally said.

"What choice? Is he threatening you and insulting us again?"

"Listen, Alexa hates me for our mother's problems. Alexa's mother killed herself because of my mother and I don't know if this is true or not but because of that, Alexa hates me so much that she wants to destroy me. Just now he came, gave me two options. She wanted me to leave you and marry a criminal so she would assume the problems between us were over but if I didn't want to then she would destroy me as well as you engaging with. I don't want you in trouble because of me, William. I don't want any casualties just because you have to marry me!"

"So just because of that?" william and Marien asked with a nod.

"I don't want you to fall victim to Alexa's grudge against me so I wonder if you still want to stay with me for another year or not. You know the consequences if you stay with me but if you don't want to take the risk, then we end our relationship. I can face Alexa alone without involving anyone so make a choice!" Marien made a second offer to William.

"I'm not a coward, Marien. I can't possibly be afraid and retreat just because of such a threat. I can't possibly abandon you just because of Alexa's threat so you don't have to worry, no matter what risk I get for choosing to be with you, I'm ready to deal with it!"

"So that's your choice?" marien asked, hoping William would rethink the choices he made.

"Yeah, I'm not leaving you because of the Alexa threat."

"Thank you, William," Marien wrapped his hands around William's neck. The man she married was not a coward.

"Therefore do not be afraid of anything especially with Alexa even though she has supporters. Remember one thing, there is still sky!"

"Alright, we've eaten and talked but I haven't got the reward!" Marien let go of his embrace and looked at William. He hopes the man doesn't forget.

"Now give me both hands and close both hands!" willam Pinta.

Marien did as William commanded. With both eyes closed, Marien frowned as William placed a book on his palm.

"Did you give me a fairy tale?" ask Marien.

"Open both your eyes!"

Marien opened both of her eyes. A document was in the hands she got and after that Marien looked towards William. I don't know what the document is but Marien opened it immediately because of the filing. Marien read some of the writing and to his surprise, both eyes even glared as he looked towards William back.

"Are you kidding me?" marien asks because she doesn't believe William gave her a company.

"No, I want you to manage the company and make it successful!"

"But how?"

"Stts!" William put his finger to Marien's lips, "Don't ask much, haven't we agreed to rise together? The money you gave me was used to buy the company so from now on, it's yours and you don't have to find a job anymore!"

"The money's for you, William. Why did you use it to buy me a company?"

"No problem, you can replace it later after you advance the company!"

"Thank you, William. This is a surprise I never expected!" Marien hugged her husband again. She really did not expect William to prepare this for her.

"So, from now on don't worry about anything because there's me. Whatever happens, we'll face it together!"

Marien nodded, a smile of happiness adorning his face. Now she's convinced she can take on the cunning Alexa of course because now she's really not alone anymore.
