William finished therapy when the time showed at half six in the afternoon. Doing therapy is not fun, he is really very tired but he knows not to give up because he already wants to get well quickly.

Her mother's request that she want to return cannot be ignored. William who does not know if his secret has been discovered because Fiona is certainly not suspicious of his mother's request let alone his mother asked him to go home without showing emotion or anything even though the mother was very angry.

Before returning home, she must call Marien first and say she will be home late so that Marien does not wait for her. She said she was going home for dinner with Marien but couldn't seem to. He hoped Marien wasn't disappointed because he knew Marien would have been waiting.

"Are you going home, Will?" ask Marien who is answering a call from him.

"Sorry, Honey. I don't think I can have dinner with you" William said. It was heavy, but he had to say it.

"Why? Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I haven't eaten. I really wanted to go home and eat with you but my mom asked me to come home so I couldn't resist."

"Well, I'll eat by myself. Don't worry about this."

"Sorry, Honey. I'll make it up to you next time."

"No problem, don't think about it. I haven't made any food yet."

"Alright, don't wait for me if I come home too late. I'll tell you later."

"OK," Marien answered briefly. Although William will be home the night he will still wait as long as William gives him the news.

After talking to his wife, William asked Steve to drive her home. She had not been home since that day, her mother would have wanted to meet but when she arrived home, all she got was the unpleasant face of her parents.

Abraham, who had heard what his son had hidden, was, of course, very angry. After hiding the condition of his legs, how dare William hide the serious thing that is marriage? It seemed like he had to teach his son a lesson that was so bold as to deceive them.

William who had arrived was of course very surprised to see the expressions of his parents who were not as usual. What the hell happened to them? Don't say something unpleasant has happened so they express it that way.

"Abraham" Silvia calmed her angry husband while William was shocked to hear her father's words.

"Where do you know?" ask William. It was only fitting that the expressions on the faces of his parents were like that. Turns out the secret was discovered but isn't this a very good thing? That way he does not need to have trouble explaining his secret marriage to his parents.

"You're totally outrageous, William. In addition to hiding your legs, you also hid your marriage. If Fiona doesn't come and tell me, how much longer are you going to hide it? Why do you always do this to us?" ask her mother who harbors feelings of disappointment in her own son.

"That day I went to propose to Fiona with my legs paralyzed. I want to know how she reacts, whether she accepts or not but do you know what I got?" William paused for a moment, recalling the betrayal committed by Fiona back then.

"You know we've been in a relationship for so long, I love her so much but the humiliation and betrayal I got back then, really disappointed me. Fiona laughs at me with her lovers and friends, they think I'm a loser when they see me but a woman I met accidentally helps me and defends me. She offered me marriage and I did it to save my remaining pride. Did Mommy and Daddy think I liked this? No, Mom. I am willing to marry a contract for a year and accept the check given by that woman so that my pride that Fiona has insulted me is not getting insulted!" hopefully both of her parents understand why she would accept Marien's offer at that time.

I know our family has always upheld marriage and this is one of the reasons why I can't tell you that she doesn't want anyone to know a contract marriage between us. I think for just one year, it won't be a problem and you don't need to know!"

"Stupid!" Abraham throws something at his son but is captured by William.

"You're playing around with marriage no matter what reason you're doing. When your grandma and grandpa find out, you're done!" his father said again.

"I'm really sorry, Dad. Back then I did it without a second thought but I don't regret my marriage to her because she was so different."

"Say who's your wife? Tell me which woman is so daring to offer you a contract marriage?" ask mother.

"I think she's an amazing woman. She not only saved my pride but she was so sincere about playing my wife even though we were only under contract. Everything he did without trickery, we both supported each other to achieve our goals therefore, I cannot tell you who the woman I married is."

"What did you say?!" his father shouted while hitting the table.

"Dad, please don't be angry. I can't take him straight and introduce him to you guys. I have to seek her approval first but trust me, trust me, I will definitely introduce myself later when the time has come because right now we are both trying to foster feelings between us for our marriage to be real, not bound by contract anymore!"

"What does that mean for you?" ask mother.

"As you can hear, Mom. Our marriage was under contract at the beginning but the more we got together, the more we got to know each other, I felt I had found a great woman that I should not waste because we had a lot of matches. We support each other and understand each other. That's why we both agreed to make our contractual marriage a reality but we're working on the process because of that, I can't bring you guys together because I'm afraid he's feeling awkward or discouraged. I have feelings but I don't know my wife because she never said these things. I hope you are not angry and understand, and we are trying to make our contract marriage a real marriage!"

Silvia and Abraham looked at each other, and a heavy breath was breathed out by the two of them. They were very disappointed and wanted to be angry with what their son was doing but what could be said, if William did not say his marriage would be made a real marriage, Silvia would beat her son to pieces and slam him to pieces.

"Please forgive me, Mom. I knew I was wrong and Daddy could be mad at me but after meeting him, I felt like my life had changed. I feel like I have to protect him and want to be the perfect man for him. Our accidental meeting completely changed my life."

"alright, fine. So you're serious about him?" ask mother.

"Yeah, I told you we're trying. He never asked who I was, he never asked me if I had money or not but he always supported me and always encouraged me.  She's so different from Fiona and she's so special to me!"

"alright, fine. You do not forgive me, but because you want to keep your contract marriage, I will forgive you but remember, if there is a divorce, I'm gonna break those two legs so you can't really walk. Don't you think I'm kidding. I don't hesitate even if you're my son!" threaten mom.

"Thank you, Mom. I promise you guys I won't let you down and I'll introduce him to you when he's ready."

"Well, don't take too long!" said mother.

"And before that time comes, I won't talk to you and don't come home if you don't bring the woman you married into a state of conceiving my grandchild. Remember what I said, if there's any more secrets then I'll cross your name off the family card!" said his father as he moved.

"Gosh, Dad. My wife and I haven't?"

"That's a punishment for you, William. This time I was on Daddy's side. Still grateful we didn't hit you to the brink and made you a samsak to vent our disappointment and anger so do what we want!" his mother left him and left him after saying so.

William shook his head and took a sneak peek, suddenly he got a mission so that his father and mother would forgive him. Though the mission was not difficult but somehow suddenly so difficult.
