Gavin returns home disappointed that today he failed to see his two daughters again. He could only give up because he had already tried to reconcile with them but that did not mean he would give up on apologizing. He won't give up at all.

The old age that he should have enjoyed so beautifully was not what he could enjoy because of the mistakes he made. Gavin sat on the sofa with a muddled mind. She is reminded of the past, where her two daughters were young and where Marien's mother still lives as well as Alexa's mother.

Although Marien's mother and Alexa's mother had a bad relationship because the hatred of Alexa's mother who did not accept her position has been replaced but the relationship Marien and Alexa is still fine at that time where hatred has not been instilled by his mother into the heart of Alexa.

He still remembered how his two daughters used to play together inside the house with his familiar. Their cheerful laughter, the children who were still innocent and had no grudges. Wasn't the relationship between her two daughters once so wonderful? Aren't they both very familiar but he just destroyed the relationship between his two daughters as well as his ex-wife.

She knows the truth but she is silent without giving an explanation so that the hatred grows in Alexa's heart on her sister. The beautiful relationship of his two daughters is completely shattered and he is the most useless father. Without tears Gavin fell slowly after remembering the togetherness of his two daughters who were still fine.

Regretting, she deeply regrets having destroyed her own family and now, no one cares about her anymore and she is left alone. The guilt and loneliness he felt could really kill him slowly. Gavin wiped his tears slowly, a very sad old age. Would he really die alone without the existence of his two daughters?

Gavin cried over his mistake long enough, he's really a useless parent. The servant who was about to deliver a message to him became reluctant to approach because the old man was drowning in his grief and regret. Inevitably the waiter approached the phone he had just put down earlier because he wanted to convey a message to Gavin if Marien contacted him.

"Miss, sir cannot be disturbed" said the servant.

"What happened to him?" Marien contacts his father after he decides to reconcile with his father.

"Sir was drowning in grief because he was crying and expressing his guilt so he could not stop so I could not disturb him" he heard the words of the servant in his father's house, Marien felt that it wasn't a hoax by her father.

He knew his father could not cry for no reason because it was embarrassing let alone at home there were some maids who would see. It seemed like his father had truly regretted the deeds he had done so it was indeed not good to have his father drown in regret for so long as it could make his health deteriorate. Do not let him regret after something unwanted happened to his father.

"Well, once things get better, tell her William and I will come tonight to visit her and take her to dinner together" Marien said.

"I'll give you the pad later, miss."

"Thank you, please take good care of my father" Marien asked the servant.

"Good, Miss. I'll give you Miss's message and we'll take good care of you."

"Thank you," there was at least a servant guarding his father so that he could calm down.

After talking to the waiter. Marien came out of the room because there was something he was about to do. He wanted to have the waiter make nutritious food for his father and bring it later. Hopefully after this his father will no longer be unjust and truly regret the deeds he has done to him and to Alexa.

Gavin had no spirit of life at all. He was completely drowning in regret. If she dies now, she hopes Marien will come to bury herself and forgive her actions. Perhaps it was time for him to catch up with his two dead wives and if given the chance, he wanted to meet with Marien's mother to apologize to her.

"Sir, there's a message for you" the waiter ventured to approach him to deliver a message to Gavin even though he wasn't doing well.

"I don't want to hear any messages so go!" said Gavin who does not have the spirit to live again because he feels death may be able to make up for the mistakes he has done.

"But this is from Miss Marien."

"What did you say?" Gavin was shocked to hear the servant's words.

"Miss Marien is looking for Mister but seeing Master's circumstances so I don't dare to interfere."

"Sorry, Sir. I don't want to bother you who's crying!" answer servant.

"I need to call her again, I need to call her!" Gavin steps towards the phone but he doesn't know where to call.

"Sir, Miss Marien said she'd come with her husband for a night's grave with you" her servant's words brought Gavin's steps to a standstill. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"Are you not lying to me?"

"No, Mister. Miss Marien said she would come with her husband for dinner with you!"

"What else are you waiting for? Prepare dinner soon!" his orders. The feeling of sadness and despair turned into a feeling of happiness because his daughter was willing to come to dinner with him. Didn't Marien forgive himself? Hopefully, may his daughter come to forgive him so that he does not have the gloomy old age he feared.

Gavin orders all the servants in his house to make Marien's favorite meal. This time he really wanted to apologize because he wanted to get an apology from his daughter. Suddenly he felt that today was a very meaningful day for him. Gavin waited impatiently, at what time Marien would come because he was not told but he waited impatiently with a feeling of uneasiness.

Marien and William had arrived, and the impatient Gavin rushed out to greet them. A sense of happiness filled the heart when he saw his daughter who had just got out of the car. Gavin could not hold back his tears as happiness filled his heart.

Not wasting any time, Gavin rushed over to his daughter who was picking up things as he was already impatient to hug his daughter.

"Hy, Dad," said Marien, but she was surprised that her father suddenly hugged her.

"I'm sorry Daddy, Marien. Forgive Daddy for wasting you" said his father.

"Already, Dad. You've said it over and over."

"But you won't forgive Daddy so Daddy will apologize to you until you forgive Daddy!"

"Dad, you know I'm not the one who can hold onto hatred for so long. I also don't like to argue with you for so long that's why I'm here to end all our disputes."

"So you really want to forgive Daddy?"

"Yes, Daddy didn't repeat it and was able to accept me and William well."

"Of course, Daddy would. Daddy's been pondering all the mistakes Daddy's made, Daddy's so sorry. Daddy apologized to you and Daddy won't repeat it. Daddy hopes we can go back to how you and your brother were able to live together."

"It's not too late, Dad. We can fix it."

"You're right, let's go inside because it's cold outside!" take her father away while releasing her embrace.

Marien nodded and smiled but Gavin again hugged her and apologized to her. Gavin cried so much that he confused Marien. Gavin spilled all his regrets right then and there, Marien was really pleased with his father's changed attitude.

Although he was disappointed in his father, but everyone had a wrong and everyone deserved a second chance. Gavin asks them to go inside, this time he welcomed them very well and for the first time William was welcomed without any humiliation and without seeing his status as a rich son-in-law because tonight he was welcomed as a son-in-law in the house and tonight, their relationship improved again and it was thanks to Marien's kindness that made William proud and increasingly in love with her.
