Invitation for Dinner

The day that Marien had been waiting for finally came because today, he was going to sign the cooperation that he had previously agreed with Abraham Archiles. This was really his initial move forward and the news he had gotten at least lessened the sadness he was feeling.

Early in the morning, Marien was getting ready to go to the office as well as William. There was something they wanted to do especially William. William wants to go home because he wants to ask his father to do something to surprise Marien of course without his knowledge.

"Are you busy this afternoon, Will?" Marien was combing her hair, while William was wearing a tie. He'll take Marien to the office before he gets home.

"Sorry, Honey. It seems I will be busy until night," said William reasoned that today he was not busy other than undergoing therapy.

"Is there anything you want? I'll order Steve to bring you what you want if there is."

"No, Will. I thought I'd take you to lunch together. That's all it is."

"Other times we'll do it but not today.there's important business I have to do and chances are I'll be home a little night so don't wait for me."

"Alright, but you'll have to make up for it when you have time!"

"I don't mind. What if we go on a trip abroad? Since marriage we haven't gone on a honeymoon."

"Good idea, we'll talk about it later because I have to go. Are you done?" Marien approached William and tidied up his real tie.

"You look good" praised Marien and this was the first compliment she gave her husband.

"You look amazing too, honey. Sit here for a minute!" pinta William patted his thigh.

"What about your legs, Will? Has the therapy you've been through produced any results? Have you been unable to feel pain or have not been able to move one of your legs?" ask Marien. She was very curious, so Marien took a massage on William's thigh, which she was sitting on at the moment.

"Hows it? Can you feel my hand massage?"

William smiled, a gentle swipe was given on Marien's face. Marien frowned because he was very curious whether William could feel his hand massage or not.

"Why are you quiet, Will? You can't walk!" marien was suspicious.

"No, I can't yet but I can already feel your weight!" said William.

"really?" marien asked with a pleased expression.

"Yes, soon I'll be the perfect husband for you!"

"I'm so happy, Will!" Marien hugged her, this was very good news for the two of them, "It's really a surprise for me and I hope that in the near future you can walk back. I'm imagining how brave you are."

"Oh, yeah? Try to answer me.  Are you imagining me dashing in bed or when I'm walking?"

"W-What?"

"I don't mind you imagining it, Marien!"

"Don't say a word that embarrasses me!" marien said with a red face. Dashing in bed? Suddenly his brain was dirty so imagine it and he was even more embarrassed to make it.

"Not to be ashamed, but are we going to be like this all day? If you want then I won't mind."

"Of course not, let's go!" Marien went up from William's lap, he had to go to prepare some things.

Marien pushes William out of the room. Her husband's shoes were taken and put on and then they left. William drove Marien home before he went to ask his father for help without saying he wanted to bring his wife to his parents.

Marien who had prepared everything immediately went to meet Abraham to sign their cooperation. All went well, Marien was so happy that he could not wait to share his happiness with William.

"I'm very grateful for the opportunity you gave me, sir," Marien said after they finished signing the agreement between their companies.

"It's just the beginning, Miss Douglas. I hope you don't disappoint me later!"

"Of course not because it's a golden opportunity I've earned with great difficulty. I'm really lucky when I'm just a beginner."

"Experience is not judged by beginners or not, but all of it is judged by the ability they have. Even if you've been in business for a long time, but if you don't have the ability, isn't that the same thing as a lie?"

"You're absolutely right, sir. But this is really my luck!" Marien smiled widely as he could not hide his happy feelings.

'Well, I guess I'm lucky too. What if we did a banquet to celebrate cooperation among our company. I hope Miss Douglas doesn't turn down this invitation from me" Abraham said.

"Of course I'm not resisting, sir. Being able to be entertained by a great person like yourself is a fortune to me and I, certainly won't refuse."

"It's good to hear that, Miss. Then come to this address, "Abraham gave me a business card where the address of his house was stated, "My wife and I will have a banquet and I hope you will come."

"I'll definitely come, sir," Marien took the given business card, "But can I bring a couple?" ask him because he wants to take William.

"Of course, that's better," I don't know what William meant to ask him to invite Marien Douglas to dinner when the woman was married. Abraham does not suspect that his son and Marien know each other.

Marien, who received an unexpected invitation, contacted William to give him the news and would like to invite William to go together to meet the invitation to a banquet from Abraham Archiles, it's possible that William and the man could get to know each other and it's possible that her husband also had a chance to do business with Abraham Archiles but Marien has not been able to contact William because his phone is busy. It was because William was being interrogated by his father who suddenly asked him to invite Marien, that he was very suspicious of it.

Not wanting to interrupt, Marien decides to return to the office to return to work before the time to attend the banquet arrives. William, who had been interrogated, contacted Marien, wanting to know the results even though he already knew.

'"How, Marien? Is everything going well?" ask William about stale.

"Of course, Will. I'm really glad everything went well."

"Good, I'm also very happy to hear that."

"But he invited me to dinner. Can you come with me, Will? I've asked if I can bring a partner or not and Mr. Archiles allows me to bring a partner!"

"Tonight?"

"Yes, seven o'clock at night. You can, can't you?"

"Sorry, Honey. I can't. I was busy and came back at nine. You go alone, I'll have Steve drive you and we'll be home together later!"

"So you can't?" Marien was a little disappointed.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not forbidding you from leaving because this is your chance. Don't turn down the invitation so as not to offend Abraham Archiles."

"Alright, I know what I have to do and I won't be long."

"good. Enjoy your time, Honey."

"Thanks, Will," Although she couldn't go with William, she had to attend a dinner invitation from Abraham Archiles, but the invitation was her own plan, and soon she'll be surprised.
