Due to Marien's sudden unwell condition, William asks Steve to bring a waiter home to make breakfast. She feels guilty about Marien's situation because of her being framed by Fiona.
Marien became unwell after they passed the first night which was not pleasant especially Marien's condition was already not healthy when he returned. Even so, he still carried out his responsibilities by helping William take a bath after he felt that he had improved.
William kept Marien shivering under the blanket. He really feels guilty. There was nothing he could do but hold onto Marien's compress and guard it. All the work he would do at home because he wanted to keep Marien even he would soon complete Marien's proposal that day too.
"Will, why don't you go to work?" Marien asked without opening her two heavy eyes.
"I'll take care of you, Honey. I can't possibly leave you in this state."
"But what about the therapy you have to go through?"
"There's no need to worry about it, the tools are advanced and I can get back to running."
"When you can leave me with a bowl of warm soup, that's enough."
"Alright, you don't have to think about it," William lowered his head and gave a gentle kiss on his forehead, "You'll get the soup soon."
"Thanks," Marien smiled even though he did not open both his eyes. It feels like his head is starting to hurt, a pretty annoying situation. But what can be done, all happens without them guessing.
"Sir, breakfast for you and the medicine you want" said Steve, who was asked by William to buy medicine for Marien.
"Just enter!" william's orders.
Steve opened the room door, he looked awkward because William was sitting on the bed and Marien was lying on his side. Although Marien wears a blanket but she still feels disrespectful.
"Just go in and give me breakfast!" said William.
"Good, Sir. I'm sorry if I'm so presumptuous" Steve stepped in and gave the breakfast he brought to his boss.
"I need your help later, so don't leave because I have something to talk to you about!"
"Good, Sir. I'm outside so just call me."
"You can come out now!"
Steve nodded and then walked out of the room. William rubbed Marien's face slowly as he wanted to wake Marien up so that she would have breakfast and take her medicine.
"Merien, get up for breakfast."
"I'm lazy, Will. Let me sleep."
"Come on, it's not good to sleep on an empty stomach. After breakfast take medicine. I'll have my mom make you some soup."
"Don't bother your mother, Will. I don't want to."
"It's okay, now have breakfast first and then take your medicine so that you recover quickly. Just sit down, I'll feed you."
"Hm," inevitably Marien wakes up from his sleep. He almost fell due to lack of energy but William held his body. A few pillows were stacked in order for Marien to lean back, it was better than she had to sit in such a state.
"You're like this because of me, sorry. Though you've sacrificed and you're still in pain but you're still helping me take a shower."
"No need to say that. That is my duty as your wife. I wasn't feeling so well when I got back anyway."
"Well, I'll do my job as your husband to look after you but I forget your hand" William grabbed Marien's palms and looked at her carefully. Luckily, there were no injuries from hitting Fiona.
"What are you looking for?" ask Marien.
"I want to see if your hand is injured or not. I don't want any injuries from hitting Fiona."
"Of course there wasn't even a stiff hand as a result of hitting her face."
"I'm full" Marien refused after eating some mouthfuls.
"But it's not over yet, Marien."
"I'm full, Will. The rest you spend."
"If so, take the medicine first!"
Marien nodded, he wanted to go to bed quickly to get back to health. He didn't want to trouble William any more than that. After all there was a lot of work that he had to do in the office so he couldn't lie down like that for too long.
William did not immediately call Steve, he accompanied Marien until his wife fell asleep. Before calling Steve, William kisses Marien on the forehead. All because of Fiona, she won't be generous. Steve goes inside to help William after being called in with a message.
William's finger was on his lips as a sign that Steve was not noisy until he woke Marien. Without making a sound, Steve helps William to move in his wheelchair. His boss must have loved his wife so much, he could see that. Didn't expect his boss to be so lucky on his unlucky day.
"Is there anything you want to say, sir?" ask Steve who already knows if there is a task for him.
"Fiona framed me with a par*stimulating drug so something unpleasant happened between me and Marien. What do you think I should do to her, Steve?" he purposely asks so to see if Steve has an idea to give Fiona a punishment or not.
'"He did that? If it were me, I would break one leg and one arm. That way he won't be able to do anything and he'll spend his money treating his hands and feet that can't heal!" said Steve. He did not expect such an event to occur.
"Good idea, tell people to do it and about her lover, I want her to be broke by morning!"
"Good, Sir. I'll do it today."
"Don't fail, Steve. You know, don't you? Play beautiful so they don't know so they can't take revenge!"
"Good, Sir. I make sure they won't be able to retaliate or whatever it is and I'll make sure they'll be on the streets."
"Good, do. One more thing, look for someone who is good at martial arts but a woman. I want her to be my wife's assistant so someone can take care of her."
"Is there anything else, sir?" he has so much work and will do well.
"Later in the afternoon go to my mother's house to get some soup. That's it, get to work."
"Good, Sir. I'll go first!"
Steve left to execute orders. Fiona is a fool, but she can live comfortably but she herself destroys her. A truly foolish woman and now, she just needed to enjoy the results of what she was doing. After Steve left, William contacted his mother because she wanted to have her mother make soup for Marien.
"I'm still on strike talking to you so why did you call me?" ask mother.
"Can the strike be postponed? I want Mommy to make some soup and Steve's gonna get it later."
"No way!" reject mom.
"Please, Mom. My wife is sick and she wants a bowl of soup. My wife doesn't have a mother, so Mommy wants to make one, right?" persuade William.
"Ck, no need to cheat!"
"I told you I'm not gonna cheat on Mommy anymore. Please, Mom. Please make it."
"alright, fine. Mommy did it for Mommy's daughter-in-law, not for you."
"I know, thanks Mom."
"Yes, Mommy's still on strike talking to you!"
William smiled even though his mother ended their conversation just like that but his mother still wanted to make the soup she asked for. Soon, she would definitely introduce Marien to her parents and at that time, she would definitely introduce Marien to her parents, he was sure they would definitely accept Marien because Marien was truly an extraordinary woman and that extraordinary woman was his.
