The Intertwined Cooperation

Today, Marien will go to Abraham Archiles to give a completed proposal. Meeting the man certainly made him feel nervous because he really had to show if the cooperation proposal was very promising.

Marien had even studied over and over again the proposal that William had corrected so that he would not make a mistake. It could hurt if he was wrong. Let Abraham not know if he did not correct the proposal.

Marien was ready for her day, she planned to stop by the office for a while before going to see Abraham but before that she had to serve her husband first . They had finished breakfast, Marien was washing dirty dishes before they left.

"Do you know Abraham Archiles?" marien asked her husband. William may have known but honestly he was suspicious of the relationship between the two men.

"Of course we know each other. No need to worry, Marien. All you need is confidence. Trust me, he'll love that proposal."

"Looks like you know what I'm worried about, William."

"All right, I've got to go so I'm not late. Steve won't be long, will he?"

"It looks like it's gonna be a minute!" said William.

Marien wiped her wet hands and after that she stepped closer to William because there was something she was about to ask her husband. Marien took a chair and sat down in front of her husband.

"May I ask?"

"Of course, you don't have to ask permission!" William raised Marien's hand and gave a gentle kiss over her palm, "Say, what do you want to know?"

"I just want to know. Steve's not your best friend, is he?" ask Marien.

"What do you think, honey? Will you mind my status later?"

"Not that, Will. I don't mind whoever you are. I just want to know because Steve's not like your best friend in general."

"Steve's my assistant, Marien. He's my best friend, too. Soon, you'll know who I really am!"

"I'm looking forward to it, William. Then I'll go first. I don't want to be late."

"Believe in yourself, you can do it" William said.

"Of course, thank you!" Marien approached her husband and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "I help you put your shoes on first so you can go straight away when Steve comes" she said.

"You won't be doing this soon."

"I will always do it even if both your legs are healed. It's a small thing, but I have to keep serving you as your wife."

"I won't prevent it but later, after my legs heal then it's my turn to put shoes on both your feet!"

Marien raised her face for a moment because she was helping William put on his shoes. Marien smiled and finished what he was doing. Steve came by when Marien was about to leave. Because at the same time, William drove Marien to the office.

"Trust yourself and be sure of yourself if you can get that cooperation," William encouraged before Marien got out of his car.

"Thanks, you should be excited too!" marien.

"Sure!" friendly kisses are given as a spirit to live their day. Marien rushes because he does not want to be late while William goes to therapy without caring for the request of Zack who is very eager to meet him.

Zack who is really angry can only hold back because Alexa has not returned. Enough is enough, he waited like a fool. She'd better call Alexa and find out when she's coming back because she has to go see William to apologize to him.

That's the most important thing but until now, Steve hasn't given him any word on whether William wants to see him or not. Zack's getting unsettled, his company's at stake. She desperately wishes William would meet her in person but if not, then she must force Alexa or Gavin to contact Marien and ask him to go home with her husband. It was the only way he had so he could meet William.

Zack waited, waiting in a stifled rage. He tries to contact Steve but Steve ignores according to William's orders because William wants to undergo the therapy calmly so that both legs heal quickly.

Marien and Abraham had met each other. Marien looked nervous as Abraham was examining the proposal he had given. He was nervous not because he was not confident but he was nervous because he was afraid that Abraham was suspicious of the proposal.

"Good, Miss Douglas. I'm so glad you've really noticed all the flaws and weaknesses in this proposal and I'm so glad you can fix it even better!" said Abraham who had finished examining the proposal given by his son-in-law.

"What does it mean that I can work with you, Mr Archiles?" marien's expression was already looking pleased.

"Of course, this is what I would expect from a young entrepreneur like you. Besides having a good spirit but you're really serious about moving your company forward."

"Thank you, sir!" Marien got up from the seat and extended a hand. He was really happy that the proposal was well received.

"It's just the beginning, Miss Douglas," Abraham moved and welcomed Marien's hand, "I hope you don't disappoint in the future!"

"Of course, I got this cooperation with great difficulty of course I won't let you down!" marien.

"Good, unfortunately my son is married otherwise, I will introduce you to him!" abraham said stale.

"Thank you, I'm married too!"

"really? Well, I'm sorry."

"It's okay, I know you're just kidding."

"Indeed, let's discuss our business further!" Abraham sat down again and so did Marien. They discussed their business long enough until finally a deal they made. Marien was so happy that he couldn't wait to tell William the good news.

"I'm very grateful, sir. You give this a great opportunity to a beginner like me" Marien said before he left.

"I hope so much for you to learn in business so that you can become a reliable business person and do not forget, do not disappoint me."

"Of course, thank you for the advice you gave me and his trust" Marien said.

Marien leaves, he calls William to give him the good news but his happiness is interrupted because his father contacts him. Marien knew there would be unpleasant things but he could not ignore the phone call from his father.

"What's up, Dad?" ask Marien.

"Go home, there's something Daddy's talking about!" pinta.

"I'm busy, next time!"

"Go home now, Marien!" father's orders.

"Sucks. Just for a minute, I won't be long!" Merien became upset at his father's request when he was busy.

"Don't forget to take your husband. Daddy wants to talk to him."

"Can't, William's busy!"

"Whatever happens, you must go home!" father's orders.

Marien. What's the matter again? It really can't make people live quietly. It seemed like inevitably she had to go home to see what had happened but she was suspicious, Alexa is planning something unpleasant but she wouldn't have guessed if Alexa would get the reward of what she's doing.
