My Perfect Disabled Husband

My Perfect Disabled Husband
Can't Be Too Close

Marien's decision not to attend Alexa's wedding has certainly reached the ears of their father, Gavin Douglas. Alexa complained to her father and said if Marien did not consider them again after marriage so she would not come to her wedding later.

Of course Alexa added all the spices that made her father angry. Any cheap drama, she doesn't care at all because in any way, she wants Marien to come along with her loser husband. She wants everyone to see if her sister is only able to marry a disabled man because Marien has already blocked her phone number, so Alexa asks her father to contact Marien.

Before her quiet day is interrupted by her annoying father, Marien is busy doing the work she brought home. William was busy with his laptop. The two of them seemed to have different worlds because no one spoke between them who were indeed busy.

Marien nipped his neck occasionally because his neck was already sore due to too long looking down to check his work. William, who had glanced at him, closed the laptop, and the man brought his wheelchair to approach Marie.

"What's wrong, you're not sick, are you?" ask William.

"Hum, no. My neck just feels sore" Marien looked at him with a smile.

"Do I need a massage, Marien?"

"No, no need!" reject Marien. He did not want to trouble William just because of neck aches alone.

"Well, can you help me? I want to lie down!" william Pinta.

"Sure!" Marien got off the bed and helped William to get into bed. Surely William can be alone but he wants Marien to help him. Both of William's legs were lifted and straightened, Marien even massaged both legs slowly.

"Did your legs not feel anything?" Marien looked towards William as he asked that question.

"So, both of my legs were pinched to the point of damaging his nerves."

"Couldn't heal anymore?" Marien went back into contempt even though William didn't feel anything.

"That's what the doctor said but I'm looking for the best doctor who can cure both of my legs!"

"Good, I'm sure both your legs will heal and you can walk again. Believe in a miracle!" the blanket was pulled to cover both of William's legs.

"Is there anything like that, Marien?" as a person who does not believe in miracles, of course, what is said by Marien sounds unreasonable.

"Of course there is. Don't you believe in miracles?"

"No, rather than being considered a miracle I prefer to call it luck!"

"All right, just think of it. It seems like the magic and luck are still brothers because they only have a little difference!"

"Come here!" william's orders while patting the bed. Marien scrunched his forehead but he immediately inched closer to William. Suddenly he felt awkward, they should not need to get too close so as not to cause a feeling that would make it difficult for the two of them to separate in time.

"I-I still have work to do!" instead of sitting by William's side, Marien preferred to shuffle to the side of the bed and take her job.

"I'll work outside so as not to bother you!" said it.

"I want you to sit here with me, Marien. Don't I want to?" ask William.

"I don't want to, William. But we must not get too close so as not to cause unwanted feelings. Didn't we agree to separate later? So we better not get too close. Better to avoid being late. Call me if you need anything!" after saying so, Marien walked out of the room.

Marien continued his work in the living room, what he did was indeed very right. He felt William would not be offended or angry because they were indeed married to a covenant so they had to abide by the treaty. He better focus on working and then rest because tomorrow he has to come early but the bullies who do not want him happy again disturb him.

The sound of the ringing of the cell phone interfered with Marien who was immersed in her work. Marien picked up the phone and saw, she looked reluctant when she saw her father's name but inevitably she had to answer.

"What's up, Dad?" ask Marien. I hope there's nothing strange that her father wants.

"I heard you didn't want to come to your sister's wedding, was it Marien?" ask his father without saying anything. Marien turned the eyeballs, surely Alexa spoke of no importance to her father.

"I said just send me the invitation, whether I come or not is my business!" marien.

"Send where, huh?" snapped his father, "You didn't tell us where you live!" yell at his father again.

"Send me to the office, why do you know where I live?" Marien also screamed and his screams could be heard by William in the room.

"What's that way you'll come?" ask father.

"I don't promise, Dad. I'll see!"

"What do you mean? Don't you really think of us as your family anymore?" her father again snapped, as if he did not accept it because Marien did not want to come.

"No need to yell like that. Why would I come if in the end I was just going to be humiliated by Alexa so I wouldn't come!"

"Don't look for me, Marien. You should come if you don't, even if I die, you won't have to come again!" threaten dad.

"Dad, don't talk. I don't hate Daddy but I don't like fighting Alexa."

"What feud? You two are brothers! If you don't come, then what do people say? They're gonna think something happened in our family. Daddy hope you keep your father's good name from becoming more of a conversation. You've humiliated Daddy once by marrying that useless disabled man so don't embarrass Daddy more than that" he said.

"If Daddy's ashamed that I'm married to that useless disabled man, then why ask me to come? Wouldn't my arrival just make Daddy even more embarrassed?"

"Enough, Marien!" his father shouted in anger.

"Enough for all the reasons you give. Is it hard to come to congratulate your brother? Don't be so cocky that you won't be at your sister's wedding!"

"alright, fine. I'm gonna come. Is Daddy satisfied now?"

"Good, don't forget to come with your useless husband. Although I don't like it, but you've decided to marry her so I'll turn a blind eye this time!"

"Alright, fine!" the anger hit. His father was so pushy, he believed Alexa had instigated their father, Marien, to drop himself on the bed. Breathing heavily, Marien lay on the sofa and seemed reluctant to touch her work again. He knew there was a scheme made by Alexa at his wedding later. Though he did not want to attend but now, inevitably he had to come to his wedding with the old man.

He'd better not ask William because he doesn't want William to be humiliated. Once again he asserted, his feud with Alexa had nothing to do with William therefore he did not want William to be involved let alone get embarrassed. After quite a float, Marien went back to work, finished his remaining work a little and after it was done, Marien went into the room.

Marien smiles to find William sleeping, the blanket pulled back to cover William's body and after that a barrier is placed in the middle. The barrier had indeed existed since they slept together and until now, no one had passed through it.
