The Offer That Still Applies

It's been a few days Alexa doesn't look excited because there's no Steve. Who only visited his father, it was not every day because his father was busy dealing with problems in the office. Usually he would get out of prison because there are people who visit but now, it has been a few days Alexa just pensive without any interest in doing anything. Suddenly he felt a little empty. Does it have anything to do with Steve not coming?

Not true, he felt strange because of that man. Don't tell me she misses him. Not true, again he denied what he felt. Alexa's face met, because suddenly he was reminded of Steve's face even though the expression he always showed was just a flat and annoying expression.

Shit, he's getting really weird. He should sleep without thinking about the man. Hopefully with sleep he does not need to think about it but unfortunately, Alexa can not cover his anxiety. His cellmates alone know what's going on with Alexa. They had never seen Alexa like that before and they guessed if Alexa was in love.

"Damn!" Alexa swearing. His feelings are not getting better but he feels his feelings are more chaotic than before.

"What's wrong with you, Alexa?" his cellmate approached Alexa and sat by her side.

"Okay, I don't know either!"

"Normally someone will come to see you at lunch, but why is no one coming to see you? You and him don't fight, do you?" his cellmate purposely said it was for fishing.

"What's? Of course not. We're not fighting!" answer Alexa.

"Then, why didn't he come to see you?"

"She's gone to do her job, that's all."

"Oh, it's worth it that you look so agitated. Turns out he can't come so you miss him."

"What's? I don't miss him!" said Alexa who again denies what she feels at this time but she is not aware of the feelings she feels.

"You can't deny, Alexa. We can see it clearly."

"What do you see?"

"Of course you're the one who misses someone so much!"

"Is it true?"

"Didn't you realize it?"

Alexa replied with a slit, she indeed felt strange and was feeling uneasy. Is it true that he's been missing Steve who hasn't come in the past few days?

"It looks like you're in love, Alexa," guess one of his cellmates.

"What's? Where possible!"

"Don't deny. As long as someone visits, you come back with a happy facial expression but now, we've never seen you so moody before. You must have fallen in love and missed that man we were guessing, the one who always sees you during the day" said another.

"But I'm not in love."

"Come on, see that face of yours? Unfortunately there's no mirror here so you can't see your own facial expression!" said partner.

"What's wrong with my face?" ask Alexa.

"Your expression shows that you're in love!"

"Yes, even if you deny it, you can't lie to us!"

The other inmates teased him to make Alexa's face red but he was not angry. Maybe he would be angry if it was because he wouldn't let anyone laugh and tease him like that but now different, they are his very good friends.

"Have not teased him, later he will be more impatient waiting for his idol to come."

"You're waiting for him, Alexa!"

"Ck, you all suck. I'm going to sleep!" Alexa lay back down even though she couldn't sleep. His eyes looked bright, his head filled with Steve and Steve. It seemed like he had truly gone mad because he could not get rid of the man in his mind.

"Oh, I'm going crazy!" said Alexa.

"You're not going crazy, come out because someone's visiting!" said a guard who was at the door.

"Gee, may it be your heart so that you don't go crazy from holding on to longing!" seda.

"Whispering, coming is definitely my father or my sister."

"Darguably, it looks like you're going crazy any minute!"

"You're chatty!" alexa said as she stepped out of prison.

Of course, the ones who visited him were his father and brother because Steve always came at lunch. Alexa followed the warden with a chaotic feeling, to be honest she really hoped that Steve would come but she didn't think the man was back yet. Now that he's getting weird, don't let him go completely crazy over this and if it's not Steve, he's sure he's going to be more and more of a madman.

Alexa entered the room unhappily because she thought her father was coming but when she saw the young man standing waiting for her, Alexa stopped her steps with both eyes bulging. His facial expression was between willing to smile and not because he could not express the feeling he was feeling at the moment.

"Why just stand there? Does he really not miss me?" ask Steve because Alexa is silent.

"You-you?" Alexa could not continue her words. Her tears suddenly flowed from the overflowing feeling in her heart.

"Hey, why are you crying like that?" Steve moved closer.  She looked panicked because Alexa suddenly cried when she did nothing. Alexa who could not stand it certainly ran towards him without waiting for Steve to get to him.

Alexa jumped into Steve's arms without a second thought to make Steve surprised and almost fell. Both of his legs were tightly coiled around Steve's waist. He didn't care about anything anymore because what he was feeling right now was a sense of happiness. True to what his colleagues said, he had already fallen in love and missed the man.

"Why so happy? Did you miss me so much?" both of Steve's hands had been resting his body so as not to fall.

Alexa replied with a nod, a smile also graced her face. He realized now, he really missed the man that was why a feeling of happiness filled his heart after meeting and seeing the man's face.

"Don't you say you won't miss me? Why did you suddenly change your mind?" Steve is very happy but he wants to know why Alexa can miss him.

"That was before you left and now it's different!"

"Does that mean I can assume you already have feelings for me, Alexa?" ask Steve again.

"My offer at the time?" Alexa let go of her hug so she could look at Steve's face, "Your offer back then was it still valid?" ask again.

"Which offer?"

"The offer to be your wife, is it still valid?"

"Of course, the offer still stands. Are you interested?"

"Very well, just so long as you don't mind a woman like me then I'm very interested!" this time he did not refuse because he knew what he was feeling at the moment.

"I'm glad to hear it!" this time there was no need to wait for Steve and not wait for who to act as the two of them brought their lips closer together.

Alexa was still in Steve's arms when they kissed. Not meeting for a few days turned out to change their relationship and now, they let go of their longing with the kiss they did.
