Marien is shocked when she wakes up to find herself hugging William. The barrier he had made himself was violated by himself as well because the barrier was under the feet of the two of them. Marien looked awkward and then put his hands away slowly, he did as slow as possible so as not to wake William up but William woke up due to the movement he was doing.

Marien was startled, hurriedly closed his eyes again and pretended to be asleep. Stupidly, why didn't he just step aside? Why would he pretend to sleep like that? Now his heart is beating because William played his hand on his face. Marien was afraid to open her eyes. He felt stupid for his own actions.

William looked at Marien's face for quite a while, this was the first time he had noticed her like that. It turns out that Marien is no less beautiful than Fiona even she feels Marien is more beautiful than Fiona who wears excessive makeup. It seemed that there was no harm in paying attention for a while so William still did not take his eyes off Marien's face. Her gaze fell on the eyelids, Marien's cheeks then her gaze ended on Marien's lips. Suddenly William gulped let alone his finger was already on Marien's lips and played there.

Marien was startled, hurriedly opening both of his eyes because he was afraid that William would do something he did not want. Both Marien's eyes glared as he looked at William. The man smiled, he knew Marien was just pretending to be asleep.

"I guess you'll keep pretending to sleep until I'm gone!" said William.

"Hm, ma... sorry!" Marien puts away the hand that was coiled around William's body but William immediately holds it back.

"It's okay, Marien. I don't mind!" William placed his hand on Marien's arm so that Marien could not get rid of his hand.

"Sorry, I crossed the line!" marien.

"You put that barrier, not me. Are you so unwilling to get close to me because you're disgusted at a disabled man like me?"

"No, why do you say that?" Marien looked back at him. He didn't feel disgusted at all, he just made a barrier so they wouldn't get too close like what happened to them this morning.

"All right, now tell me. What the hell happened to you?"

"You mean?" Marien asked back.

"I heard you yell last night, what's up? Who are you talking to?"

"Oh," Marien sighed for a moment, "No, I just had a fight with my father," she thought William didn't need to know because it wasn't important. He did not want William to be disturbed just because of his feud with his crafty brother.

"Why? There's gotta be a reason, right?"

"It's nothing serious, it's nothing to think about" Marien said.

"You're serious?"

"No!" William shook his head, it seemed like Marien was hiding something and did not want him to know about it. Does he have to find out but what if Marien doesn't like him getting involved in his problems?

Marien had gotten off the bed, he went to the bathroom first before coming out of the room. William noticed his departure while pulling both of his legs because he wanted to sit down. Marien clearly showed that he was fortifying himself so they wouldn't get too close. No matter, they can't get too close.

They should be like usual, like friends without the need to get closer. After all, the two of them can live their day while encouraging each other so that each other to maintain privacy must be done.

Marien went back into the room, after making breakfast. As usual, he helped William take a bath first. Now he's used to seeing William's body. As long as he doesn't touch William's elephant trunk, it's safe.

Morning as they always go, Marien goes first. He was unsuspecting because he thought William did not yet have the rush. Marien works as usual without knowing there is a surprise waiting for him. Marien even works as usual but after lunch is over, he is called by his boss who asks him to face. Marien was still unsuspecting but when his dismissal letter was on the table, Marien seemed clueless with the letter he suddenly got.

"What does this mean, sir?" marien asked her slightly old boss. He didn't expect to be fired when he didn't do anything wrong at work.

"You're fired, can't you see it?" his boss looks careless, looking towards Marien alone he doesn't do.

"I know it's a letter of dismissal but what mistake have I made?" Marien asked again.

"No need to ask, you're fired means you're fired so get your things sorted out and don't come back!" boss says.

"Why should that be? You must have had a reason to fire me so I need to know why you suddenly fired me. Did I make a mistake that hurt this company that you fired me or was there something I did in the job I've been doing?" Marien really does not accept but he has a hunch if all of that was Alexa.

"You're no longer needed in this company so you shouldn't ask too many questions and leave!" expel boss.

"I don't believe just for that reason. Someone must have asked you to fire me, right?" ask Marien who does not accept he was fired for unreasonable reasons. He's been working at the company for some years now, there's no way he's been fired just because it's not needed. If he is not needed, what about the others?

"Don't be sassy, Marien. I fired you directly, it's obvious so you have no right to argue even you have no right to ask what the reason is because this company is mine. You better take care of your attitude and get out of this room if you don't then I'll order people to pull you out until you're humiliated!" threaten boss.

"As a boss you're so unprofessional!" Marien snatched her dismissal letter, "I've been working here long enough but you fired me for a very silly reason. You're a boss I've respected all along but now my respect is no longer with you because I'm sure someone has asked you to fire me!" marien said with emotions overflowing in her heart. What an unexpected surprise for him. He didn't expect Alexa to go that far.

His boss was silent, indeed what Marien said was very true but he was more willing to lose an employee than to lose the lucrative cooperation offered by Zack Erson. Marien walked out of the room while holding back anger. Companies that can be bribed, he will not be in the company for too long but he does not accept being fired and he will not let the culprit laugh at the events that happened to him.

After Marien leaves the room, her boss calls Alexa to tell her she's done what Alexa wants. This news made Alexa laugh. She was really very satisfied, now Marien was really going to be a loser like her loser husband. They were both very compatible, he could not wait to see Marien coming home and whining to their father for help and indeed, Marien was on his way home at the time to teach him a lesson.
