My Perfect Disabled Husband

My Perfect Disabled Husband
Not From A Harmonious Family

They were already at the dining table, Marien smiled awkwardly as Abraham and Silvia looked towards him occasionally. An unexpected night, an unexpected meeting and that must have all happened unexpectedly tonight moreover he had time to think badly about his father and mother-in-law. He was so embarrassed, but luckily no one knew what he was thinking.

He contacted both of his parents and talked about the matter. Surely they were surprised and said they would come soon with his brother and his wife. Because William married secretly and then brought them together suddenly without notice made him not have the opportunity to welcome his daughter-in-law well but he was very satisfied with the woman whose son married secretlyshut it.

"Why shut up? Don't you like the food?" ask Silvia.

"It's not so, Madam," Marien was really nervous.

"Why do you still call me madam? Don't you want to think of me as your mother-in-law?"

"That's not it, Mom. I just feel a little weird."

"You see that? All because of you!" abraham said to his son.

"Right, you made us all awkward!" said his mother anyway.

"When I've met him several times but because of you, I don't know at all if what I've met and I've offered to do business turns out to be my own daughter-in-law!"

"How, Daddy offered him business because he had potential, didn't he?"

"I admit, it's like that."

"I'm sorry for my disrespectful attitude, father-in-law. I don't know either" said Marien.

"Of course, the most guilty one is definitely William but remember, we still feel annoyed at you two. First you, you were so brave to buy my son with your meager one million dollars and you, William," Now Abraham glared at his son, "You tricked us and you hid both your legs and your marriage so don't expect me to forgive you. I'm still angry and disappointed but if you can grant me what I want then I won't be angry anymore!" said Abraham.

"What does my father-in-law want?" ask Marien. If he can grant it then he will do so that his father-in-law's anger at them both subsides.

"I want a grandchild, my God. I want to have a granddaughter!" said Abraham.

"You've become husband and wife and it shouldn't be a hard thing!" silvia.

"We will try" said Marien.

"Good, now let's eat. The food was already cold," Silvia took the food for Marien first. Marien tries to prevent her because she is not feeling well, even though William's mother is good but she must not take advantage of the situation.

The banquet that was supposed to be for business associates turned into a banquet to welcome the arrival of the daughter-in-law. Marien was awkward but the longer he was with them, he was already able to blend in because without her guessing, he was, it turns out that both of William's parents were very good even though at the beginning he was surprised by the arrogant attitude that Silvia deliberately showed to try it but the more he knew William's mother, the more he knew William's mother, it turns out they are not similar to the rich in general who are usually arrogant and will ask with his background. Is it not or soon? Suddenly he became afraid because he had a family that was not harmonious.

"By the way, when can we meet your parents?" ask Silvia. Hearing William's mother's question left Marien shocked and almost choking on food.

"Hm, yes," Marien glanced at William. This was what he was worried about, don't say if they would change their minds after hearing if he was just a child not considered by his father.

"I don't think you need to see him, Dad," William said. She can see what Marien is worried about when her parents are unlikely to judge Marien just because her father does not consider her.

"Why not necessary? We must not be disrespectful like that and must be in touch with Marien's parents" Silvia said.

"I-I don't think you guys need to see my dad" Marien said. He could imagine how his father would react when he met William's parents. His father would definitely look for the face and pretend to offer business for profit and others. Just imagining it makes him sick.

"Tell us why you wouldn't let us meet your father. What's the matter between you and your father?" ask Silvia.

"Sorry, Mom. I am not from a perfect family. If after hearing this you want me to leave William then I can't do anything. I could refuse the offer of money you gave but for this time, I could only give up because I realized I didn't deserve to be among you and I didn't deserve William."

"Why are you talking like that, Marien?" ask William.

"You know how my family is, Will. And I feel unworthy because of this!"

"Hey!" William grabbed Marien's hand and held it, "Don't say that just because your father is. We do have money but we are just like everyone else and we are just ordinary people. After all, you're not like your father and they won't judge you just because you're not loved by your father!"

"really?" Marien stared at Silvia and Abraham.

"Is it just because you're not accepted by your father that you consider yourself inappropriate?" ask Silvia.

"I'm sorry, I know you have a perfect family and that's why I feel unworthy because I'm an unwanted child. I also do not want you to meet my father because I do not want you to be used by my father who only attach importance to his personal interests so I hope you are not angry because I really do not want my father using the two of you for his own personal gain," rather than his in-laws being used by a father who doesn't think it's better they don't have to meet at all.

"Alright, I know your intentions but we still have to meet her because after all you are her daughter. Whether you use it or not, you don't have to worry because your father won't be able to use us. Now go back to eating and staying over. Tomorrow we go to see your father because we have to be in touch with him!"

Marien looked towards William, looking, really he did not want to bring his father to the parents of William because he knew how it would be later especially he would be embarrassed but William nodded indicating that their parents really had to meet.

"No need to worry, your father won't be able to take advantage of us!" William calmed his worried wife.

"I hope so, Will. Honestly, you haven't met but I'm ashamed."

"Don't think about it, it's our parents' business!"

Marien nodded and sighed heavily, it seemed like tomorrow he would have to buy a mask so that he would not be too embarrassed by his father's behavior even he really imagined how his father would be when he met William's parents. Can his father be replaced for a moment? He really did not want to bring his father to the parents of William.
